There was nothing quite like the rush a person got when soaring 100ft above the ground on a broomstick. It's what Noah loved about Quidditch, he loved the freedom. From this high up there were no pressures, no one telling you what to do, and like right now, no expectations to perform at his best. In this moment Noah could just enjoy the freedom riding a broom gave him, as well as the peace it offered. Up here he could just be Noah, not the son of Christian Whitman, not Quidditch Player extraordinaire. He was just Noah and it was a feeling he reveled in.
The peace however couldn't last long. Noah being who he was couldn't resist training. He had this need to be the best at everything, and right now he had to practice. After all Ravenclaw had a game against Slytherin coming up and he'd be damned if those snakes won a game. To add to the pressure to perform at his best, Noah had been informed via an OWL this morning that his Father would be attending the game. So Noah was determined to play a great game this weekend, he didn't want to let his Father or his house down.
Having the pitch to himself today was a high point, and allowed Noah to practice a few new moves. After three whole hours of intense training, Noah finally decided to call it a day. His muscles ached, sweat beaded his forehead and his shirt clung to his body from the workout. Landing he dropped his broom to the floor and stretched his arms back and out away from his body, enjoying how his body ached. It was a reminder of how well he'd worked out today, a reminder he'd pushed his body to the limit, he always felt proud after a work out like today. Grabbing his broom he headed towards the locker rooms, ready for a hot shower.
After putting his practice broom away, he headed to the locker room. His own broom was away in his room, he only brought it out for training when he was working with the team. Running a hand over his face and through his hair he walked into the locker room, not looking around to see if someone else was there. He reached behind him, grabbing his shirt and tugging it off over his head, his vision cut off for a moment. Then as soon as his shirt was off and in his hands, he opened his eyes and immediately collided with someone else. Instinctively Noah reached out to grab the persons arms, "Whoah there sorry..."

Liander knew that agreeing to help out his cousin was probably a very, very bad idea, all things considering, but he'd already agreed so he couldn't very well back out now, could he?
Liander just needed to get down there and get this over with quickly, and then chances were he wouldn't get caught and he could just forger about it. But still, when it came to anything that involved Ravenclaw's Liander had grown to be weary.
He was from a family full of them and he was an outcast in that group. He, the family Hufflepuff - the disappointment. He'd been surprised turning up at school and finding out that one of the girls who'd been sorted into Hufflepuff alongside him was actually one of his cousins, which gave them something in common. Liander had slowly gotten to know his other, Ravenclaw cousins too, but not as well as he had Fina. Aiden though, was the year above him, and they were slowly talking more and more.
Aiden being the cousin who was asking for his help now. Somehow, he'd landed himself in detention with McGonagall, and everyone knew that when it came to that particular Professor, you didn't turn up a damned minute late. So that's where Aiden had been heading when he'd asked Liander if he'd help him out by finding something that he was sure he'd managed to leave lying around in the Quidditch changing rooms.
Without thinking, Liander had said that sure, he'd go look for it... It was only now as he wandered slowly across the grounds towards the Quidditch pitch the he really thought about what it was that he'd agreed to. He was a Hufflepuff... a non-quidditch playing Hufflepuff, who had agreed to go into the Ravenclaw quidditch changing rooms... Was he the only one seeing the problem with this?
It certainly wasn't the wisest thing that he'd ever agreed to do, that was for sure. The rules were pretty strict about this sort of thing, so he risked landing himself a detention right along side his cousin.
From the looks of things at least, no one had a team practice today, and the sole figure he could see flying around didn't look like he was about to be coming down anytime soon. At least... Liander thought it was a guy. Whoever it was they were flying too fast for him to be able to make out even which team they were on. Hopefully not a Ravenclaw, that was all he could think of.
Slipping inside as quietly as he could, Liander just stood and looked around. Where the heck did he start? He'd never even been inside the Quidditch changing rooms, not even his own teams' changing room, so he didn't have a clue of the layout. All he could see were benches and a few towel racks or something...
Maybe they had lockers through that door...
Wrong. The second he stepped through the door there was an audible click, giving him little more that three seconds to realize where he was before he was pelted with water. An automatic shower... great. Stumbling backwards out of that particular area, Liander ran his hands over his face, trying to wipe the water from his eyes. He was completely soaked through already.
Well, at least he was in a room full of towels, right? Pulling his shirt over his head, he placed it on a counter in the center of the room and he sighed. Liander was so caught up in what was happening to him at that moment, that he failed to hear the changing room door open and someone come in. Just as he'd made his mind up to grab one of the towels to dry himself off with and turned, a body plowed straight into his.
Liander's automatic reaction was pretty much the same as the other persons, and his hands went up to grab the other person's arms too. The momentum from colliding sent Liander wobbling backwards a bit, his back hitting the counter, even as he used his grip on the other person to try and steady himself somewhat, but that only seemed to succeed in pulling him over a bit too.
"Oh shi..." Liander trailed off as he noticed the state the other guy was in. It was the guy who'd been out on the pitch before... His eyes dropped down to take in the state of him. He was not just a hot, sweat mess, but a shirtless one. And there he was, his shirt off and soaked in water from the shower and...
Something seemed to...flutter in Liander's stomach as things really sunk in. God he was hot... And not just in the temperature sense... and Liander could feel the skin to skin contact between them and... Oh heck...
He knew he should say something to explain why he was in here but words seemed to have escaped him for the moment.

Hands gripped his arms and before Noah even had a chance to steady both himself and the person he'd collided with, he was stumbling with the other person. Albeit only slightly but was enough to send him leaning in to the unfamiliar person. "Oh shi..." he heard another guys voice and finally took a moment to look at the person he'd knocked in to. Their intimate position not apparent to him as of yet. His eyes dropped taking in the blonde haired guy, "I'm sorry I..." Noah trailed off a frown working it's way onto his face as he finally began registering what had happened.
The guy was shirtless and wet. There was skin to skin contact now and Noah was still holding onto him. What was that unfamiliar staring in the bottom of his stomach? Noah's eyes widened ever so slightly and finally he pulled back, albeit a little too quickly, doing what he could to ignore how hot the air around him had suddenly become. What the hell? It was another guy, surely that had been shock of some sort he'd felt. Yes, that's what it was. Noah ran his hand through his hair and shot a small smile at the other guy still leaning against the counter. His eyes quickly darted around the locker room and he was glad to see they were alone, the last thing he'd needed was someone seeing that. Or seeing how long it had taken for Noah to pull away.
"Your erm...not on the team..." he said, mentally kicking himself for his epic failure at trying to talk. Ruffling his hair he looked at the blonde and smiled a little more. He definitely wasn't Ravenclaw. Noah had sure seen him around the school though, but what house he belonged to he was clueless. Usually he didn't concern himself with anyone outside his own large circle of friends. For a moment the uncomfortable silence lingered and Noah found he couldn't look at the guy for too long. Then he realized he had yet to ask his name, "Noah...I'm Noah...what about you?" he asked, eager to find out who the boy was and why he was in the Ravenclaw locker room of all places. Half naked to boot.

The two of the seemed frozen in place for a moment, neither quite knowing what to do while things registered. All Liander could think of in that moment was just how damn hot this guy was, and how close they were. He knew he'd seem him around before and he was pretty sure they were in the same year, because he recognized him from some of his classes, but Liander had never been good with remembering names, if he even knew this guy's at all. But one thing was for sure, Liander had never seen him this close up before, and never realized just how good looking he was. Again with the stirring that only intensified when the Ravenclaw spoke... Liander had, now he thought of it, never been this close to any guy before...
Liander saw the moment when realization sunk in and the other guy pulled away fast. There was a brief moment of loss before Liander managed to straighten himself up and reach behind him for his shirt, holding it loosely in front of him. As far as body confidence when, Liander didn't really have all that much of it - he wasn't really a sporty, super athletic type like a lot of guys around here seemed to be, and he didn't really like to be caught without his shirt on. He just always felt like he was going to be compared to all the guys around him who were a lot more toned than he was, and... well, yeah...
Watching as the Ravenclaw ran a hand through his hair, Liander couldn't stop his eyes from dropping to look again at his body and the way his muscles flexed under the movement. Liander's stomach was practically doing somersaults now even as much as he wanted them to just stop so that he could at least... act normal? Or something... What if the other guy saw him looking and freaked out or something? Most people seemed to be pretty disgusted with the idea of homosexuality.
"Your erm...not on the team..."
Liander blinked rapidly and looked back up to the Ravenclaw's face but only for a second before he looked away again to somewhere over his shoulder. "No... I...I'm not." He cringed somewhat and his hands wrung some of the water from his shirt nervously. He should at least be explaining himself but he was struggling to even form sentences in that moment.
There was an awkward silence that lingered for a few seconds in which neither boy looked at the other, but neither moved away from where they were standing, which, admittedly, was still probably a fair bit closer than two people who had just met usually would.
"Noah...I'm Noah...what about you?"
He looked up at him then, just long enough to set the butterflies off again before he managed to steer his gaze away again. "Liander... and erm... Hufflepuff" Noah would obviously know that Liander wasn't part of his house, so there was no point in him trying to pretend like things were any other way.

Noah was confused as to why his heart beat was going so rapidly. Was it shock, surprise at the unexpected run in? That had to be it because really what other reason was there for it. For some reason he was finding it extremely difficult though to keep his eyes off the blonde boy in front of him, why he wasn't sure. One thing he was struggling to deny though was the spark he felt shoot through him when he'd realized how close their bodies had been, the feeling of skin on skin had set of a chain reaction inside of him. One he was struggling to understand. This was another guy. Noah shook his head, no this wasn't normal, and true to his nature, he buried these strange feelings deep down.
Noah watched as the boy wrung out his shirt, seemingly struggling to answer him. The air between them was awkward, strange, but there was also something new and terrifying in the air as well. Noah could feel it, almost taste it, but he didn't search for it, no, again he was burying everything deep down. They were still stood fairly too close to be considered appropriate but for some alien reason Noah found himself glued into place. No matter how much he willed his body to do so, it simply wouldn't move.
"Liander... and erm... Hufflepuff"
Noah looked at the guy who introduced himself as Liander and felt a stirring deep inside of him. Quickly he looked away again and in attempt to appear somewhat normal he nodded his head, "Sixth year right?" he asked conversationally as he finally persuaded his body to move back, covering his actions by moving towards his bag. Though as he reached for his bag he frowned and turned to look at Liander, tossing his shirt down on the bench, "What you doing in this locker room then?" he asked.

Almost as soon as Liander told Noah his name and house, the other boy moved away from him, putting space between them. That was probably a good thing, but Liander couldn't help but kind of miss the closeness. Even now he found himself staring and he couldn't help but admire the other guy. "Right..."
He still played with the shirt in his hands, not quite sure what to do now. He hadn't expected to get caught in here, and definitely not in this kind of situation. Part of him didn't even want to leave. Well, he'd come in here for a reason so... no point really in leaving without getting what he came here for, right?
"What you doing in this locker room then?"
He knew that question was coming, he just didn't know whether this guy would believe him if he told him the truth. "You know Aiden, right? Aidan Kaper?" Well, of course he did seeing as the two of them were on the team together.

"You know Aiden, right? Aidan Kaper?"
Noah nodded his head almost instantly, of course he knew Aid, they were on the same team and had been friends for years. Though almost immediately after confirming he knew the other boy he chuckled and shook his head, “What’s he lost? Or sent you down here looking for?” he asked Liander, a smile playing on his lips, his earlier reactions to their closeness momentarily forgotten.
Sitting down on the bench he pulled off his boots and socks, letting them casually drop under the bench. Glancing up at Liander as he awaited an answer from the blonde boy, again he felt the stirring in his stomach and had to quash it down, not liking the confusion he felt with it. “Want me to help you look? Two heads are better than one after all...though maybe you should avoid the shower cubicles...” he teased, winking at the other guy to let him know he was joking.
Liander wouldn’t have been the first person to accidently walk into the automatic showers, Noah had on his first time in the locker room much to the amusement of his fellow team mates. He pushed up from the bench and looked at Liander.

Well, there was that confirmed anyway - Noah at least knew who Aiden was, though what else did he expect? It seemed he knew Aiden quite well as he drew his own conclusions of why Liander was here, which of course, was because Aiden had left something. Liander couldn't help but let out a small sigh of relive. This was actually going better than he'd hoped.
"I actually don't know, but it sounds Quidditchy, and I assumed I'd just... know it when I saw it?" He trailed off somewhat pathetically. Wow, didn't that sound great? He was here looking for something but he didn't actually know what it was. Sure... believable. "He said 'if there are others, go for the old and battered one - it's probably mine' so... Yeah..." He could always hope that meant something more to Noah that what it did to him.
Noah looked up from where he'd sat. “Want me to help you look? Two heads are better than one after all...though maybe you should avoid the shower cubicles...”
Again, something seemed to flutter at that wink, but Liander just took deep breath and tried to act normal. The last thing he needed was to start giving himself away right now. "I guess that just proves I'm not a Quidditch person, huh?" Anyone who played obviously wouldn't have done what he'd just done. He felt a bit stupid for it, but he couldn't help but grin back. "But if you have a better idea of what this 'old and battered' thing is then yeah, help appreciated. I don't have a clue what I'm looking for."
Liander was actually a little surprised that this guy would just believe him so easily about all of this. Well, a sixth year Hufflepuff helping out a seventh year Ravenclaw? It wasn't the most logical thing, and even though they were cousins, you couldn't really say that there were any similarities between them. Not even a shared surname, or anything, and it wasn't something any of them went around talking about too much, seeing as their parents didn't actually want them knowing each other, and they didn't even want to acknowledge that they knew who the others were. Family stuff... forever complicated.
"It sounds like he sends people searching for things quite a lot..." Liander glanced back down at his shirt as he said it. It was still soaked though, and the drying charm was one of the few he really, really struggled with. He'd only done it correctly twice, and even then they hadn't been too good. But he didn't really want to be wandering around topless. Noah might be okay with not having a top on, but the guy definitely had the body for it. Where as Liander..? Not so much. And he was beginning to feel a little self conscious about it right now.

"I actually don't know, but it sounds Quidditchy, and I assumed I'd just... know it when I saw it? He said 'if there are others, go for the old and battered one - it's probably mine' so... Yeah..."
Noah chuckled as he looked at the other boy. Quidditchy? He shook his head and smiled before running his hand along the back of his neck, trying to think of what it could be Aiden had possibly sent Liander down here for. There were a number of things that came to mind but whether any of them were the right thing he didn't know. "I wouldn't worry about it, the shower thing I mean...we've all done it, man, I gave the guys a good long laugh my first time in here, soaked my uniform all the way through." he waved his hand and smiled again as he stepped towards Liander.
"Well there are a few things that it could be...but if I'm going to help your going to have to let me shower first. Worked myself a little too hard this morning." he grimaced, he wouldn't be able to concentrate until he cleaned himself up. Smiling at Liander he patted the boys shoulder, ignoring the sparks he felt and grabbed a towel. Pointing towards the bench space beside where his own stuff was he spoke again, "That's usually were Aiden keeps his things, I'll be two minutes. Dry yourself off, wouldn't want you getting sick because of Aiden would we..." he said, smiling again as he headed off to the showers, throwing his towel over his shoulder.
He walked into one the cubical hidden from Liander's current line of sight and immediately stripped the rest of his clothes off, carelessly discarding them with the rest of the Quidditch laundry and stepped beneath the steaming stream of water. Immediately his muscles relaxed and he began cleaning himself up using the shampoo and shower gel provided. His thoughts began to stray to the boy in the locker room, and to say he was confused would have been a major understatement. He really didn't understand the reaction he'd had to Liander, usually if he was lucky it was a girl who ignited those kind of feelings in him. What was it about this boy. Maybe it was just a one off.
With a firm nod of his head, confident that's what it was, a fluke, Noah stepped out of the shower. Running the towel over his hair briefly he wrapped it around his waist, holding it in place as he made his way back into the locker room. "Any chance remembering yet?" he asked, not that it mattered either way he was still going to help Liander. He came to a stop near Liander and waited for the boy to answer, all the while quashing his confusing feelings.

"Well there are a few things that it could be...but if I'm going to help your going to have to let me shower first. Worked myself a little too hard this morning."
Liander's mind shot straight into the gutter as Noah spoke. He could already see a lot of the Ravenclaw already and he definitely liked what he could see, but there was something about the idea of Noah removing the last of that clothing and being in the shower just a few meters away from him that made his brain want to explode. A dozen images shot into his mind that he couldn't battle away quick enough. 'I can think of a couple of things he can help me with... though Aiden isn't one right now.'
Shaking his head to clear those thoughts he tried to act calm and collected even though he was feeling anything but. He'd already left it a little too long before replying as he'd just stood there and stared, mind buried in the gutter in a way that he wasn't used to. "No problem." Noah patted his shoulders as he leaned past him to grab a towel from the rack and something inside Liander's stomach erupted - he couldn't decide whether it was the worst case of butterflies he'd ever felt or something else entirely, but he knew that it wasn't an entirely unpleasant feeling. It was like a shock of electricity racing through him at just that simple touch, and he was pretty sure he gasped out loud.
Noah pointed to a bench he'd just been sat on. "That's usually were Aiden keeps his things, I'll be two minutes. Dry yourself off, wouldn't want you getting sick because of Aiden would we..."
It was Liander's turn to smile and it was all that he could do not to want to just follow Noah in there. He settled instead for watching him as he walked away and just appreciating the view. Damn it... that guy was so hot he should come with a warning sign... Shaking his head, Liander sighed and turned away. Hot... and no doubt straight as a rod. Meaning Liander was making a huge mistake letting his thoughts get so carried away, not that he felt like he had a whole lot of control though. He'd just have to try and keep the thoughts away from now on and not let his mind think of Noah again, because he knew nothing would ever come from it.
He grabbed a towel and headed towards the bench where Noah's stuff was and looked down - anything to try and distract him self from the knowledge that just around that corner Noah was wearing a whole lot less that what little he'd been in just a few minutes ago.
Liander left his shirt and the towel on the bench and crouched down to look under the bench to see if there was anything under there that might be what he was looking for. He heard Noah's voice speak up from behind him and looked up.
All Noah wore was a towel around his waist, hanging low on his hips and all Liander could do for a few seconds was stare before he managed to tear his gaze away. No. Not yet. I... I don't know what I'm... looking for... oh..." Liander's voice trailed of as he looked back up at Noah and stared. 'Holy sh*t...
((we are still doing the towel dropping thing, right?))

Noah ran the towel through his hair and over his face as Liander remained crouched down looking beneath the bench. He took a moment to observe the boy trying somehow to figure out why he was feeling such strange things, for someone of the same sex, it wasn't normal or natural. It was confusing and he did't like it, he didn't like feeling confused in the slightest and just as he was about to push it all down, he dropped his towel. Sighing in frustration the dark haired boy tucked the other towel in around his waist and bent to pick up the towel he'd dropped. As he straightened and hung the white towel around his neck, the one around his waist loosened and fell to the floor, completely exposing him and before Noah could react Liander began speaking again.
"No. Not yet. I... I don't know what I'm... looking for... oh..."
Noah felt himself tense, Liander had looked up and trailed off from whatever he had been saying, his eyes glued to Noah. Noah swallowed, his mind screaming at him to cover up but he'd frozen, struggling to believe it had just happened. Though quickly his who body temperature sky rocketed in humiliation. He was well aware of how good his body was and that wasn't him being big headed, he worked hard to keep in shape and it showed. Quickly he pulled the other towel from around his neck and covered himself up, turning away from Liander, cursing the gods.
"Um...sorry...I uh....sorry." he mumbled quickly grabbing a change of clothes avoiding looking at Liander. His heart thundered wildly against his chest as he went around the corner to change into his clothes, shaking his head as he did. Usually he was so self assured, so confident, accident's like that had happened before, to all the guys on the team and it was just something that blew over. Though somehow it felt different with Liander, it only seemed to amplify his already confused feelings. "You know I think Aiden should get his butt down here and look for himself..." Noah said, attempting a smile as he headed back outside to Liander and sat down on the bench.
Boy was this awkward.

Liander glanced up from where he was looking as Noah spoke, just in time to see him pick his towel up off the floor, and the one that was around his waist to pull loose and drop till it pooled on the floor around him. Liander almost completely lost his train of thought and all he could do was stare. Well, like staring at his chest hadn't been enough now he was all out staring at... well... that... and oooooh boy, wow...
It was almost as if time froze for a few seconds and it seemed to take Noah a while to get over the initial shock of losing his towel before he grabbed the other one to cover himself up with. That snapped Liander out of it and he looked away quickly, clearing his throat, but the image was still etched into the forefront of his mind. He could feel color flushing his cheeks somewhat at being caught staring, and once again butterflies seemed to have erupted up a hurricane in his stomach, and he couldn't seem to get them to settle.
Noah quickly vanished around the corner to get dressed, and Liander moved so that he was sat on the bench, rather than crouched in front of it. He rubbed his hands over his eyes and tried to clear his mind. It was bad enough not being able to look away from Noah's body when he'd been standing there but now he'd seen a whole lot more, and it would probably look a hell of a lot more suspicious or whatever if he suddenly couldn't keep his eyes off of his crotch or something.
"You know I think Aiden should get his butt down here and look for himself..."
Liander looked up and Noah rounded the corner and headed in his direction. Automatically, his gaze dropped, though he quickly tore his gaze away and tried to focus on looking at a rules/information sheet stuck on the wall across the room from him. "Yeah, erm..." He coughed once again to clear his throat and tried to force himself to focus. "He's currently facing the wrath of McGonagall soo good luck to him with that..."
He let his gaze jump briefly to the other boy who was now fully dressed, and looked down at his own state, and the still soaked top on the bench close to him. "Are you in charms? By any chance did you ever get the hang of that drying charm?" As much as he wanted to get dressed and cover himself up, he didn't really want to throw on a wet top. He glanced down at his trousers and groaned. Looked like his top hadn't been the only thing to take a dousing. Liander pulled a face then muttered, "It looks like I've wet myself..."

"He's currently facing the wrath of McGonagall soo good luck to him with that..."
Noah looked at Liander and smiled as he slid his feet into his trainers after putting on his socks. No matter how confusing the boys presence was, Noah was finding he enjoyed being around Liander. Though he doubted it'd become a regular thing, purely because being confused once was just enough for him, he hated the feeling and Liander was causing a whole mass of un-explainable feelings to rage through him. "McGonagall? Again...I think that's the second time this week." he chuckled, McGonagall was not someone Noah was lucky to say he'd ever been on the bad side of and he planned to keep it that way.
On the surface he probably appeared a lot cooler and more in control than he actually was. These feelings inside him weren't natural and he was determined to bury them all the way down, there was no way he could like another guy. No way. Though still as Liander spoke Noah felt his eyes drawn to the other boys naked torso, and his gaze lingered over the exposed skin for a moment before he abruptly looked away and cleared his throat, making a show of looking through his bag for his wand, confident he'd put it in there somewhere. Really he just needed something else to concentrate on instead of Liander.
"Yeah hand your shirt over..." he said, thankful his voice remained steady and controlled as he looked back at Liander and shot the boy a smile. Holding out a hand for Liander's shirt he chuckled, and followed Liander's line of gaze, though didn't allow himself to linger too long as those confusing feelings threatened to surface again. Muttering the charm beneath his breath the patch on Liander's trousers began to dry before he performed it on the other boys shirt, "Well it can be our secret..." he joked, shooting Liander a wink as he handed the boy his shirt over, "See. Good as new..."

"McGonagall? Again...I think that's the second time this week."
Liander rolled his eyes. "That.... actually doesn't surprise me. He's had one with Filch and two with Flitwick this week, too, from what I've heard." If Aiden didn't watch himself then he was going to really have to defend his quidditch position. He knew that some of the heads of houses tended to crack down on students who didn't put enough effort into their studies because they were putting too much into their sport. That isn't to say that Aiden was getting bad grades, necessarily, but he was clearly doing something wrong to be getting so many bad grades, and considering this was his NEWT's year he might be wanting to rethink his current strategies...
Frowning down at the wet patches, both on his top and on his trousers, Liander questioned himself on why he never bothered to work more on the spell after they'd finished it in class. He'd probably need it for his exams or something, but he'd still only managed to successfully cast it twice; once in practice and once in class so Flitwick could sign him off to say he could cast it, or whatever it was he did. But he'd been lucky those two times, because every time he'd tried other than then he'd failed the spell miserably. There was probably something he was doing wrong in his wand motions or something, but it was driving him crazy not being able to cast such a useful spell.
Liander handed over his shirt when Noah had his wand, before frowning again down at his trousers. At least his shirt was fairly long though, so if he kept it untucked it might not be so obvious... hopefully. It seemed that Noah had over heard his muttering because the next minute the wet patch on his trousers was gone beneath a wave of heat that soaked through and into his skin. 'Woah... that felt a bit... let's not go there...' He cleared his throat and shoved any more crazy thoughts out of his mind, then sent a smile Noah's way. "Thanks."
"Well it can be our secret... See. Good as new..." Noah handed over his now dry shirt with a wink that sent those little butterflies soaring through his stomach.
"Which part? The part where I snuck into your changing room? The part where I got caught out by a shower? The part where I ended up looking like I suffer incontinence? Or the part where I got caught doing all those things and had to get help from the guy who caught me during my rather miserable B&E attempt?" Liander grinned and shook his head, thinking of just how crazy this last ten minutes or so had been.
He stood up and pulled his shirt on quickly to cover himself up, and couldn't resist a sigh as the warmth that still clung to his shirt off the spell sunk into his skin, warming him. "God, I wish I knew how to cast that spell..." He'd just need to find some time to get some practice in... around all the other spells and stuff he still needed to practice too... But for now, at least there'd been someone around who knew that charm, so he didn't have to go back to the castle drenched.
"Thanks, Noah." He buried his hands in his pockets before turning to look around the changing room again. "I still have no idea what it is I'm supposed to be hunting out down here." Why hadn't Aiden been more specific? Surely he knew Liander didn't have a clue when it came to quidditch thing.

"Thanks."
Noah returned the smile and waved his hand at Liander, "Don't mention it..." he said with a smile, tucking away his wand in the waist band of his trousers as he stood. He returned Liander's grin as the boy carried on talking, "All of it I guess...but hey it wasn't all bad was it? The guy who caught you B&E seems pretty awesome..." he said jokingly, flashing Liander another grin. As Liander stood to get his shirt on Noah turned, needing to focus on something else other than the boy beside him. For some reason he'd felt his eyes wandering over the other boy, so instead of allowing himself to get confused again he turned to his bag and fastened it up. "Honestly it just takes a little practice you'll get it..." he said.
"My Dad doesn't believe in not being able to do something...I learnt that spell years ago. He's a bit of a hard ass, strict as hell but I guess it's not so bad, got me this far." he said with a lightly shrug of his shoulders as he straightened and swung his bag over his shoulder. Running a hand through his hair, he checked his immediate area to make sure he hadn't left anything behind. Though even if he did he could get them back on the run he'd be going on later. From the castle to the Quidditch pitch and back five times, an hour of extra study and only then would he be allowed to relax for the night. Only to wake up in the morning for an early work out before classes started. It was a rigorous cycle.
"Oh hey...I think these are Aiden's..." he said, crossing the locker room to the make shift shelves they had. Shrugging his shoulders he pulled out the shin guards and turned back to Liander holding them out. There on the inside were Aiden's initial as well as the brand of guards. "Let me guess? The douche bag told you the brand name instead of what it was you were actually looking for?" he asked, the brand had a name which was hard to pronounce so it made sense if Liander had forgotten what they'd been called, even he struggled sometimes.
