[/color][/b] At a very early age Remus was bit by Fenir Greyback after his father insulted him and became a werewolf himself. His parents did all they could to find a cure but were unsuccessful in their endeavors. Lupin's parents were vey unsure of sending him off to Howgarts with the other students but Albus Dumbledore assured them it would be perfectly fine and off he went.in depth history:
When Remus arrived at Howgarts he was sorted into Gryffindor and immediately made friends with James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew. Once a month at the full moon, Remus would retreat to the shrieking shack and transform. The villagers mistake his howling and screams for that of a ghost and thus the nickname. Remus would make up stories, saying his mother was ill in order to keep the reason for his disappearance a secret even from Sirius, James and Peter. During there second year, though, the boys managed to figure out and became animagus in order to be with their friend.
Remus is not only a good student but on occasion a prankster. He doesn't get in as much trouble as his friends James and Sirius but enough to earn him a few detentions in his earlier years. Now they're in their fifth year and Remus is a perfect. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

roleplay sample:[/color][/b] Rose Weasley sat in the great hall, chatting and enjoying her morning with a couple of friends, unaware of the fact that her brother was coming for her.She'd told their Mother about everything wrong Hugo had done and then their Mum had transferred all her worries and such into a wonderful letter that just happened to mention her sources of information.
As she sat there listening to her friends rant on about stuff, she quickly picked a scone from one of the many platters in front of them.
"So, really I feel the need to address this situation.What's with the whole-" Rose cut her sentence short as Hugo approached the table with a cheery smile, that looked like someone had had to slap it across his face.He was definitely pissed.No doubt about it.
Mother never fails to mention me in her lovely letters to Hugo, Rose noted, rolling her eyes.
"Morning ladies," he said as he sat across from her, reaching out to take a scone off her plate.As he toke a bite out of it, Rose knew she was in trouble.But it was probably worth it.Rose had had a lecture letter a time or two and knew how long her mother could nag on and on about something.It'd probably taken Hugo twenty minutes just to read the letter.
"Do you mind if I steal my sister away for a few minutes? This won't take long." Rose watched her friends nod approval and grimaced.They weren't his sister so they probably didn't realize that the look upon his face was not one of contentment."Sis, you mind if we have a chit chat outside for a moment?"
Rose paused for a minute, thinking of some way to get out of this,
"Depends.Do you happen to have your wand or any sort of weaponry with you? Weaponry would include quills, books, book bags, and anything of the sort.I'm not sure that it would be safe to step out of the eyes of such a large crowd of witnesses if you did.There's a possibility I might not come back if I do." Rose tried not to grin.She was being difficult, trying to find any reason not to go with him and it definitely wasn't helping her case any.
There was no way he was going to let her out of this one now.
