Maddi is pretty tall for her age (5 foot, 8 Inches), it's another reason why she is picked on a great deal. She would love to have an athletic appearance but unfortunately the unlucky Slytherin is just tall and very skinny, close to looking ill in some aspects. With a scarily pale complexion and sometimes sunken eyes, she could be mistaken for a walking corpse, but stress is very unkind to this girl.in-depth appearance:
Her dark brown hair usually hangs limp and untidy past her shoulders. It has a slight wave to it when neatly brushes wish is very rare. On god days, it will be untidily tied up in a rubber band to keep off her face. Her eyes are blue and kind looking and sometimes when she is happy she can even look really pretty.

in-depth personality:
Maddi is pretty much a happy go lucky girl. She keeps herself to herself and finds it hard making new friends. Once friends are made though, she is really loyal and protective. This young girl is very compassionate and is often found being the shoulder that one needs to cry on.
When she needs alone time, Maddi will go to the library and lose herself in a romantic story. Her favourite Authors are The Bronte Sisters and Jane Austen. She often favours old literaly books though she hates studying. Alone time generally helps Maddi to deal with haunting memories whilst living with her parents. These memories affect her badly and sometimes not sleeping can cause her to be a little short tempered, though she hardly ever talks about her home life. Shame preventing her from doing so.
This being said, depending on her sleep patterns and nightmares, this affects her personality and behaviour towards others. Normally she is very friendly, not your stereotypical Slytherin and again this causes problems within the house. She has encountered bullying a lot and though no-one can ever get used to being bullied, she has hardened herself to it, having been bullied all her life.
When it comes to things she cares about she is very ambitious, determined to do anything that she can, to get on The Slytherin House team whilst at school. Then to pass her exams so that she can somehow fight for Muggle and Creature rights within the Ministry or through fame whilst being a Quidditch Star. Maddi really believes in fate and the two paths that one needs to follow to get to their destiny. She believes that she will be pointed in the right direction for her nearer the time.
The young pureblood can be a bit of a bossy boots sometimes and likes to order her friends around a little bit. One such friend (when she was younger) was Kale Fontaine. He would follow her around like a little puppy and literally do anything she asked for during play. One such time she even managed to persuade him to dress up like a Fairy Princess, though she soon grew out of that phase!
Maddison would not consider herself to be shrewd or cunning, though she does show such traits when it comes to hiding from her parents or avoiding certain questions to save from having an argument. She always seems to be able to find ways to get what she wants and will only stop if it meant hurting another person. That being said, she is no pushover and if anyone dared to hurt anybody that she loved or cared about, they would soon be sorry. Maddison is a great believer in karma and an eye for an eye.

Quidditch above all else, her Grandmother Rose, she has a penchant for Pumpkin juice and pasties. She also loves reading, if not necessarily studying.; if you can't find her out on the Quidditch pitch then she will most likely be in the Library. She also adores her cat Tabby (which she named after her Grandmother). Maddison enjoys Fizzing Whizzbees, Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans, and especially chocolate like the muggle chocolate bar Snickers.likes:
Brewing the potion Amortentia, Maddi can smell fresh grass- She loves the smell from her hours out on the Quidditch pitch.
Leather- Another Quidditch favourite, the Quaffle firmly in her grasp. The smell of Leather always gets her excited
Lily of the Valley- It was her Grandmother's perfume. Despite the often cold response she would receive from her parents, her dear Nan would always greet her warm smile and a cosy hug.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
Blood prejudice, family reunions for the previous reason, studying, liars, gas, flicky hair, gum and chewers, quidditch haters, cockroach clusters, rats, hypocrites and two faced people.[/blockquote][/blockquote]dislikes:

boggart:
- Giant Wasps, the buzzing sound freaks her out. When she was a younger child, she got stung by a wasp on her lip and ever since then, she has a dream of disarming the World from these harmless pests once and for all!!!
- Being tied up and gagged like those at the dinner party, whilst being tortured and mocked.
- Being alone, but that one is not as exciting.
When she sees a Dementor she remembers a memory that haunts her even to this day. Sitting in the centre of the living room during a dinner party that her parents were holding. Only DE's were invited/ Maddi had to act like the charming and honourable MacKenzie whilst listening to all blood chilling stories and recollections that were told.
In the corner of the room were three people seemingly asleep, gagged and bound. Maddi will never forget the moment when curiosity had gotten the better of her. She had crept up to the 'sleeping guest' and stood there just looking at them. To her horror as she held out her arm to touch one, they all opened their eyes and stared at her. Maddison jumped back, heart hammering inside her chest, banging so hard that it was as if the muscle was trying to free itself from within the bony cage.
Eyes full of fear, panic and confusion watched her and this was something that will haunt Maddi until her dying day. She could have sworn that the haunted souls were staring at her accusation ally and she desperately wished that she could have freed them there and then. Later that night, and after the innocent girl had been sent to bed, blood chilling screams and groans mixed with raucous and tormenting laughter reached her small shell-like ears. Maddison cried herself to sleep. Somehow the laughter was more eerie and hard to hear than the screams. She could not believe that people could actually be that inhuman.
patronus: A Penguin, because they are majestic birds that live in a harsh environment and yet manage to survive. They are very nurturing and caring towards their partners and young, mating for life. These characteristics copy her caring and loyal nature.
mirror of erised: Maddison has many goals for her life, mostly for the future world that she hopes she can influence. In her personal life, she wishes to take up a career playing Quidditch. She would love to play Professionally, imagining herself out on the pitch, screaming fans all around, every time she finds the time to practice on Hogwarts' own pitch.
On a wider and larger scale, she wants to help fight the good fight in ridding the Wizarding community of Blood Prejudice. Despite being a Pureblood herself and coming from a heavily supremacist family, Maddison does not share their philosophy. She wants everyone to be equal in their world and hopes to help make this a reality one day.

Maddison Elizabeth Rose MacKenzie was born April 10th 1960 in Herfordshire, England. This rural county was a perfect place for an upbringing. The pureblooded child had a really happy childhood, was pretty spolied and was totally doted on by her Father and Grandparents. As she aged and learned to have an opinion of her own. As she began to witness certain acts and traits, things began to change.in depth history:
The young pureblood hated everything that her parents stood for. She was sure that her Father was corrupt, though not really knowing his job or being told any details (her house were very secretive, with very little conversation.) Living in a resentful atmosphere was hard and this meant that Maddi literally was a lonely child. Time away from her parents was more appealing than time spent with them. Two Deatheaters that were ashamed of their prim and good little daughter was not a good place to be. Maddison was sure that the Threat of Azkaban was the only reason that she was still breathing.
Her only escape was visits with Grandmother Rose and hiding in her Den in the House library. Maddi would read many adventures that would take her away from this scary and hateful home. The letter from Hogwarts was a happy time. This meant that Nine months out of a year, Maddi was away from home. Hogwarts soon became her new home and she would often lose herself on The Quidditch Pitch, or amongst her friends.
The first year at Hogwarts was magical for the young Slytherin. Though surprised to be sorted into Slytherin House, her parents were overjoyed. It seemed to give them hope that Maddison 'would see the error of her ways.' Instead she was sorted into a house that was filled with Purebloods who generally hated Mudblood sympathisers. The poor girl moved from one bullying atmosphere to another. The difference at Hogwarts though was that there were more places to hide herself and keeping the handful of friends that she had close to her, helped her emotionally as well.
Tales of Hogwarts was never the same as being there and though some things were hard at time, Maddi had never been happier. There were many magical experiences to be seen and had and Maddi loved them all. She would often sit on her bed writing long letters to Mema Rose, retelling her the tales and experiences that the first year had been through during the weeks. Long letters would be sent back, some that would make her smile, some that would make her laugh and some that made her cry and miss Mema more than ever before.
Her Second year at Hogwarts was mainly one of her discovering new friends, her love for Quidditch and keeping her head down and out of trouble. Though she hated studying she seemed to be doing well in lessons.
The Third year at Hogwarts was a little different. The bullying had increased again and for the first time since becoming a student at Hogwarts, she wished she could be at home hiding in the library. One day during a quidditch game (Non House) she was flying towards the hoops and a group of students in her own team, ambushed her causing her to fall from a great height and breaking her leg. This never took away her love of the game though and she was more determined to be accepted into the house team one day.
Year Four was an eye opener. Maddison was discovering that certain boys were catching her eye, some even made her blush. Quidditch was more exciting than ever and she had even managed to try out for the games. Maddison was a mess in many ways and had the time of her life in many more. Emotions ran high and Maddison was just discovering herself and that she was actually alright despite what her parents thought of her. She made a mental plan to try and find ways of living with Mema Rose once and for all.

name/alias: Anna or Carebear.
experience: 10 years give or take.
how did you find us?:
roleplay sample: Knockturn Alley, home to some of the most vile, putrid filth of the Wizarding World. The vagrants, the shunned and neglected, those members of their society that the majority would rather forget about. Of course, due to this reputation, many a dark wizard or witch had taken advantage, setting up shop in the alley. Their patrons could slip down the winding alleyways and visit their shops and keep their anonymity, safe in the knowledge that no ‘decent’ wizards or those of the Ministry would wander too far and catch them purchasing their wares.
Of course, another advantage of the winding streets, low buildings and oodles of dark corners, was one reserved for the shadows of society. The Death Eaters, war mongers, and the assassins. One such assassin moved silently through the night, emerald eyes glistening in anticipation as she moved, as fluid as the shadows themselves, blending into the darkness, leaving their mark completely oblivious to the fact that these were the last few moments of their life. Lucy Dawkins paused behind a corner as her mark stopped, greedy eyes surveying the area before reaching into his pocket, pulling out a gold-plated pocket watch and quickly rushing away.
The aristocrat she was stalking had just paid a hefty amount to the Death Eaters opposition, obviously hoping it would get the DE out of power and get the ‘old ways’ back. Lucy scoffed at just the ideas these pathetic creatures were harbouring. They had no idea how deep it truly went. Despite the fact that she wasn’t a Death Eater herself, she knew the plans, knew where their world was heading, and personally couldn’t wait. Knowing she’d given her mark long enough, she continued on, silent and quick as death.
The man continued to look behind him, always as if he could feel the assassin following him, stalking him. It was funny, she mused, the way instinct took over whenever a threat was sensed, how you’d look over your shoulder, listen harder, move a little sharper, imagine the sound of footfalls behind you… ‘Wait, I didn’t imagine that…’ The thought registered at the same moment she moved. Brick dust exploded over her, pale skin flashing in the pale light before there was nothing.
Sharply standing and pulling out her dagger, her weapon of choice, Lucy tried to calm her racing heartbeat, remembering her training. Soft shoes slipped across the floor as she moved, eye piercing the darkness, ears straining to detect even the slightest noise. And then suddenly there she was, pale skinning and bright eyed, surveying her with a cocked her and an arrogant smile. The two hunters gazed at each other, summing each other up, already planning their next move.
The Slytherin tightened her grip on her dagger, shoes digging just a little deeper into the stones beneath her. Gritting her teeth, she dashed forward the same time the strange woman did. Despite how quick she was, despite her training and despite the weapon she owned sinking deep into the woman’s flanks, Lucy was soon on her back, gasping for air, bruising already developing on her back where the woman had struck her. She ached, her lungs burnt where the air had been knocking out of her, and she could feel her hysteria levels starting to rise slightly as she realised the seriousness of the compromised position that she was in.
Her breath returning to her, Lucy looked up and started at the shinning brown eyes gazing down at her, the woman surveying her with the same curious look on her face. She pulled the dagger from her side, wiping the gore on her gown before putting it away in her own bag, ignoring Lucy’s protest. Not willing to give up, despite the sharp pain in her back, she reached behind her, pushing herself up. Getting to her feet, she spun only to find the woman chuckling at her.
Snarling, the brunette lashed out, only to be met with a solid fist to her cheek bone. She heard the bone pop as it broke, felt a moment on pain, before the adrenaline flooded her system, momentarily alleviating the pain, until something new blossomed from her neck.
It was sharp for a moment, almost like a needle, then there was a dull throbbing coming from the same area. She began growing weaker, her limbs going numb, skin growing cold. Opening emerald eyes that she’d squeezed shut, Lucy realised she was in the woman’s arms. More shocking, however, was the realisation that she was biting her. The draining feeling continued, and despite her brain telling her body to struggle, to fight, to get away, she done no such thing as she sensed if she did the stranger holding her might just snap her neck. As an assassin, Lucy was used to being placed in these situations, but always managed to find a way out of it. This time, however, a strength radiated from the woman, if you could call her that. ‘Creature’ or ‘Monster’ sounding more fitting considering the method of attack and the coppery scent of blood that began tainting the air. For the first time in her life, Lucy began to panic, but still she could not move as the creature continued to drain her life-force. Instead, she remained in the cold embrace until finally everything faded away into blackness.
At first Lucy was only aware of the cold ground beneath her. It seeped into her skin, making her feel cold. And then there was the painful ache that permeated her whole body, making her wince when she finally moved, rolling onto her back. Emerald eyes snapped open, however, as the memories came rushing back. Sitting up with a jolt, she winced again, only then feeling the true extent of the damage. It was like she’d been hit by a car; her whole body ached and throbbed just sitting there, it was replaced by a sharpness whenever she moved. The assassin knew she had no choice, however, she had to move.
Rolling onto her knees and pushing herself up, Lucy stood before spotting something glinting from the corner of her eyes. Inspecting the room and finding it deserted, she stumbled over, surprised to find her dagger sitting there, whole and cleaned. Without a second thought she placed it back into her holder, fully intent on getting away from that place before the creature came back to finish what she’d started. Making her move, she realised she was in an abandoned house, the air tasted of rotting wood and damp. Stepping off the creaking stairs, she listened intently, but couldn’t hear a single thing. Padding through the house, she looked through the first window she’d found that wasn’t boarded up.
The Slytherin’s eyes widened in shock at what she saw. ‘The sun’s setting? That’s impossible! It was near to midnight when I was attacked! That would mean…’ The brunette came to the starting conclusion that she’d lost almost an entire day after the attack, having most likely spent the majority of it here. Finally reaching the door, she pushed it open, surprised to find it unlocked, before quickly heading back towards the closest pub, hoping to catch the Floo network back to Hogsmeade and be back at the castle before it got too late. Sticking to the shadows, she was soon there and on her way without many people taking much notice of her. She breathed through her mouth, however, the smells in the air seeming stronger to her, making her nose and throat burn in the oddest way as she made her way through the town, through Hogsmeade and back to the school.
Slipping through the forest to avoid detection at the gates, Lucy raced across the lawn, into the school and down into the dungeons without avoiding a single person. Unfortunately, her luck ran out there. "Lucy!” She recognised the voice immediately, cursing her bad luck.
The assassin turned in time to see her loyal boyfriend coming towards her, eyebrows pulled down slightly into a concerned frown. “Where have you been? You’ve been gone all day!” He asked, his tone serious, eyes glistening in the light of the dying fire in the grate.
There was a long moment of silence, Lucy being very unwilling to admit that she’d tasted defeat, and so spectacularly. “I was attacked. I’ve been out most of the day,” she muttered, emerald eyes gazing into his, seeking comfort in Jason’s presence even as his eyes widened in shock.
“Oh, gods, are you Ok?” It was like it was the first time he’d really looked at her since she stepped through the portrait. “You look different, you’re really pale.” He continued, the boy reaching out and placing a hand on her skin. His skin was burning hot, unnaturally so, making her flinch back. “You’re freezing, Luce!” Jason exclaimed, pulling her to him and enveloping her in a warm embrace, rubbing his arms up and down hers.
Now pressed into his chest, Lucy tried to take a calming breath through her nose. Big mistake. Her nose burned, her throat felt as if it was on fire and all at once she felt something new. Something different. She was… thirsty. Gasping at the realisation, just as Jason gasped, his hands paused on her back. The petrified Slytherin pushed him away, her hunger increasing mirroring the fear in perfect synchronisation. ucy’s hand jumped to her throat, as if this simple yet fluid movement would decrease her famishment.
Her boyfriend stood before her, hand still reaching out towards her, but his eyes were wide with wariness and terror now. “Lucy… I couldn’t feel your heartbeat… What did you say you were attacked by?” The other Slytherin asked, scanning her face, the cogs turning in his mind.
“I didn’t… She came out of no-where. She was so pale, and strong… She bit me, Jase…” Lucy practically whispered the last part, realisation dawning on her. Shock invaded her system, her mind went silent and she found herself holding the breath she’d only just realised she didn’t need.
“Lucy… You were attacked by a vampire, she bit you and now…” Jason trailed off, taking a slow step towards her, placing a too hot hand on her shoulder.
“I know,” Lucy said, cutting him off. Her eyes were cast down, not being able to look him in the eye as it finally sunk in. “I’ve become a vampire as well.” It was a statement more then anything as silence fell over the room, neither knowing what to say or do.
