- The first day of September marks the beginning of the Marauder's fifth year at Hogwarts.
- Two weeks into the school year, auror John Dawlish is hired as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor.
- Late September brings a Death Eater Attack on students Emily Prescott, Lachlan Parker and Marlene McKinnon. Prescott and Parker were released after four days spent in St. Mungo's, but McKinnon was kept for an extra week due to extensive physical injuries.

- A Hogwarts Professor, John Dawlish, was kidnapped and tortured by Death Eaters.
- The Halloween Ball causes a stir, with prankster brothers Rhoan and Ash Leary spiking the punch, causing the victims to fall in love with Muggle Studies Professor Katheirne Dupree. Chase Connors spikes another punch with a love potion, causing a very awkward scene with his best friend Lachlan Parker.

- Students celebrated Christmas. Most going home for the holidays, whilst a select few remained at school.

- The students of Hogwarts, celebrated Valentines day with a Masquerade ball, masks only coming off after mid-night.
- Rio Connors, Chaser for Wimbourne Wasps was murdered, leaving behind his wife April Connors and their children, Chase and Risa Connors. Chase unfortunately found out about his Father's untimely passing via the Daily Prophet in the Great Hall at Hogwarts.

- Gryffindor Fourth Year, Leander Spicer died in the Black Lake, committing suicide. It had been a grueling and trying year for the fourth year, who unbeknownst to her peers was being messed with by a Slytherin, Georgina Parkinson to be exact.

- James Potter and Lily Evans relationship became a hell of a lot more complicated after a heated encounter in a broom closet.
June

- Students in their 5th year and 7th year sat their OWL's and NEWT's.
- Georgina Parkinson left the school with a bang, by spending an evening torturing Emily Prescott and Chase Connors. Getting away with the attack after getting someone to pose as her double at the annual Hogwarts, Night of Mischief. A friendly game of Quidditch between the students.
