Leander SpicerLeander is going a little bit 'all out' for the ball, even though she hadn't been inteding to attend at all. It is only with the influence of a certain 7th year Slytherin (yes, you heard that right!) that she is even going at all.
Hair - Her usually wild mob of hair is going 'controlled wilder'. It's been straightened and they crimped, with a little bit of magical assistance and a heck of a lot of hair spray. With the help of a bit of transfiguration (not cast by her) her hair has been magically reddened for the night, though she's quite tempted to keep the color longer.
Make up - She usually wears a bit of mascara/eye liner to darken her eyes a bit anyway, but this time she's layering it on thick.
She's found another nifty spell which has given her eyelashes an entire new look. (see:
www.zuneta.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/janet.jpg) and then her eyeliner is twice as thick as usual. A bit of pale powder has taken what ever little bit of color their might have been in her face out completely, leaving her looking washed out and ghostly, with sunken eyes and a dash of blood red lipstick, borrowed from a roommate.
Costume - To go with her pale, sunken look and wild hair, Leander has opted for an old dress she found that was suffering from a bit of wear and tear. She's gave it a lot more tear now and it has a cool, shredded effect. It still covers her and is decent, but those little slashes on skin over her sides and parts of her thighs have her just a little self conscious. The overall look comes across as slightly 'living-dead', especially for this muggle born girl. To top off the look, she's torn ladders into the only pair of black tights she owns and borrowed, again from a room mate, a heavy pair of doc blacks.
The innocent little Gryffindor girl is lost under this dark getup.
NarcissaNarcissa is required to be at the ball because she is a prefect, and for this reason she needs to be a little bit kept and proper. She's a society anyway, so the idea of a ball thrills her. The only thing she isn't looking forward to is having both Lucius and Amycus in the same room as her for the whole night. But hopefully they'd be at each others throats before they even reached the great hall. One could always hope...
Hair - As always, her hair is perfect with not a single strand out of place from where she wants it. She has curled it tightly so that it frames her face then frayed it out a lot so that it is something of an organised mess. It's not the usual look that she'd go for but it's fitting for her costume and for Halloween.
Make up - Her make up is quite subtle compared to some. She's not covered in fancy halloween designs for the holiday or anything like that. She's added a touch of bronzer to match her eye shadow, and put a pale, bronze colored lipstick on. Her eye lashes have been exaggerated with patterened extentions and they really stand out.
Costume - Growing up in a high society household, Narcissa was never a 'trick or treat' child, and she was never raised to dress up as a vampire or a werewolf or other such nonsense at Halloween. If she had to dress up for a ball or function then she would always be made to dress as a character of some sort - usually from literature or history.
For that reason, Narcissa has chose to dress as Marie Antoinette for the ball, with a French Revolution-era costume - with a barely-there off-the-shoulder cream and peach lace ruffled minidress. It is, of course, expensive and made by the finest designers which explains the detailed and authentic look of the piece. The matching head piece and peep-toe heels complete the look to a T.

GrantonGranton is keeping it cool and sassy and going all in black. He's a muggle-hater, sure. But sometimes they're ideal to make fun of - hence his 'magician' look. The muggle ideas of magic are rather amusing from the point of view of those who have grown up with magic their whole lives.
His costume consists of black shoes, black slacks, a black shirt, and a faux leather jacket. The look is finished off with a bowler hat hung low over one eye, and a pack of playing cards in one hand.
ChaseAs a Hufflepuff 5th year guys agreement, the lads are going dressed as character from some muggle thing called 'Batman'. The most Chase has heard about it before is when him and Lachie went out drinking with their blankets around their shoulders and Lachie called them batman and robin then. Not that he knew who either of the characters were. If he did, he might not have been of quick to accept 'Robin'. As it is, Chase is donning the bird suit (he's spent some time moping about it in a fun way) and heading to the ball in Christmas colors.
With a bit - okay a lot - of hair gel, he's made his hair slicked back a little, or at least not falling into his eyes like it usually does.
RhoanHair -Rhoan is going for his usual 'big hair' look, which is no different to usual, except perhaps slightly more exaggerated since the top part is hidden under the hat of his costume. (see:

Make up - Rho is voting to keep it tame on the makeup this Halloween. While usually he'd be covered in fancy designs and making a show of himself, his make up is somewhat low key this time, though he's still guarnteed to catch attention with his overall look. He's darkened his eyes with liner as usual but that's about it.
Costume -Call him crazy, but Rhoan is one of those guys who can pull of girls clothes better than most of the girls can. To be honest, his brother is the same. And that is why they both opted to try and make girls custumes and make them look great on themselves. Of course, the costumes themselves were something of a dare from the each other. Yes. Ash picked Rho's costume.

He's going as a muggle police wo/man with a tight leather costume, fake hand cuffs and all.
AshHair - Ash is keeping his hair pretty normal this Halloween. He's not all out crazy with it like he has done before. He's keeping his usual side swept 'emo' hair with his costume hat on top.
Make up - He usually doesn't wear a ton of make up - that's Rhoans job, but for the sake of Halloween he's added a touch of it, even if it doesn't entirely match his costume. (see:

Costume - His costume was part of an agreed dare with his brother. They both wrote a costume idea on a sheet of paper and swapped. Ash is still pretty sure he got the better deal. He's going as a ghost buster though as the terms of the dare state - in a womans ghost buster costume. It doesn't look too bad though. It could be so much worse.
