After a long and exhausting day, Hestia had finally decided to sneak out to Hogsmeade to have a little fun.
Screw homework, a girl's gotta have fun! But you're going to fail your classes. 'But you're going to-' oh who cares!
Hes stopped in her tracks and snorted. She just realized that not only were little voices arguing inside her head but that they were her. And since they were her that meant she was mocking herself. Or would that little voice who insisted that she do homework be her alter ego? She decided on the latter. Why would she ever actually care about her homework?
Hes continued on her way, chuckling quietly to herself.
At first she didn't know where she wanted to go but finally settled on The Three Broomsticks. She'd grab a butter beer and then maybe head over to Honeydukes Sweetshop. It sounded like a plan to her. As long as she didn't get caught.
As she strolled along the way, Hes didn't notice that she wasn't the only Howgarts student in Hogsmeade today. Another student was not to far ahead of her, having their own little break from homework.
Hes's mind was wandering off and she didn't notice that's her thoughts raced off the speed of her steps increased. She had carried herself so far ahead that she ended up running into the other Hogwarts student knocking herself backwards.
"Woops! Sorry. You ok?" Hes asked nervously. She'd been comprised and would probably get in huge trouble for being here, if this person was a perfect or something.
Maybe they're not? Looks like you've really done it now. Doing your homework sure looks real good now, doesn't it? Alright. Remain calm. We can fix this. We. Can. Fix. This... RUN!
Hes figured the last voice was just her panicking side, but she couldn't run. She'd probably just end up in more trouble then if she stayed. She picked herself and looked down at who she'd run into.

all the world's a stageAND ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN MERELY PLAYERS What a day it had been for John. Here he was, at Hogwarts, his old home, about to begin his new life just as he had done when he was eleven years old. Only, this time, he was about to become the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher! Dumbledore had given him the job two weeks into the term and tomorrow he would begin teaching the fifth year students! It was a daunting idea, but John was so locked up in his own thoughts that he didn't notice that he was no longer alone, wandering the streets of Hogsmeade.
Someone had bumped into the back of him and he rocked forward, landing on his hands and knees. His thoughts were jolted out of his mind as he struggled to pick himself up off the ground. As he turned to face the person behind him, he recognised that it was a student from Hogwarts; probably out on a free period.
"I'm fine. Are you hurt?" he asked the small blonde girl, holding out a hand to help her up. She wasn't wearing any school robes, but instead muggle clothing, and so John had to guess as to what house she was in. She looked young; around fifteen or sixteen and by the genuine shock she had on her face about knocking him over, he could only guess that she was either in Gryffindor or Hufflepuff.
"John Dawlish," he held his hand out for her to shake. "I believe I'll be your new Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor," he said rather proudly.

Hes tried to keep from panicking. If he was a new teacher here at Hogwarts maybe he wouldn't realize that she wasn't suppose to be here. He apparently didn't for her offered her his hand to help her up and she took the offer graciously.
"No, I'm not hurt, thank you though," she said as she brushed herself off. She looked up to see who would now be training her in Defense Against the Dark Arts. He was actually sort of cute, which would probably be distracting during class. He looked like he was probably about in his mid twenties.
"So," Hestia started. She probably should have left as soon as possible before he realized that she shouldn't be there but she couldn't help herself. "Are you excited to teach be teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts? I mean especially to a bunch of fifth years. I'm sure you could do anything else you wanted," Hestia said smiling.
Hes's head continued to scream at her to get out of there but she just stood there smiling stupidly.

all the world's a stageAND ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN MERELY PLAYERS John laughed. "Well, yes, I suppose," he said, frowning slightly as he chuckled. It was something new and exciting for him - a change from his usual Auror duties. "I guess I am excited about teaching. Although, I've never really done it before, so this should be an interesting experience. Feel free to tell me if I'm an awful teacher, by the way." He grinned, his stomach doing a bit of a flip at the thought of having to start teaching tomorrow.
"So you're a fifth year, are you?" John asked, his eyebrows raised. "I guess I'll be seeing you in class tomorrow." According to the timetable Albus had given him yesterday, he had a fifth year class after lunch. John was just hoping he'd get to know some of the students before he officially started; he didn't want to feel too awkward.
He looked at the girl who had just run into him, realising that he didn't even know her name. Standing there, looking as surprised and stunned as she did, John smiled back in return. "Sorry, I don't think I even caught your name -" he started, holding out his hand for the girl to shake. He'd already introduced himself and there was no sense in repeating his name twice.
"I hope you don't think I'm being forward," he said, shrugging out of the coat he was wearing and folding it over his arm. "But seeing as I'm not actually your teacher as of yet, and it's been a while since I've been here, I was wondering if you'd like to have a butterbeer with me at the Three Broomsticks." He was heading towards the Three Broomsticks anyway, and having company seemed like a wonderful thing right now. Hogsmeade was looking a bit sparse for company and having run into Hestia, John intended on making friends before he officially started in his new teaching position.
