October 1st. year: 1st house: Gryffindor bloodstatus: half-blood code word: [Removed by Admin] Tell Us a little about how you look facial structure: Risa is a sweet looking girl with wide innocent eyes framed under dark lashes. She could be described as looking angelic at times, with subtle features and un-flawed skin. Don't get fooled by her pout though. body structure: She's far too skinny for her age, just skin and bone most of the time, but she tries to disguise it so that people just think she's lanky, rather than ill looking. distinguishing features: If you see her minus her carefully placed disguise you can't miss the bones that seem to jut out awkwardly, a mark of just how hard her internal struggle is for her. face claim: Gemma Ward overall: Risa's mother always splashed out a bit of money on comfortable yet fashionable clothing, and even though she's still young, it's still something that Risa has picked up on, and she packed a lot of clothes that make her look healthier, rather than stick thin as she is. She also stole some of her mother's make up to bring to school with her (not that she noticed) so that she can hide some of the dark rings under her eyes and the strains that come with her illness. She just wants to fade into the shadows and be a no body right now, not noticed for how she looks. and then a little about yourself likes: Usually she likes being nosy, but more recently she's been very reclusive and tends to hide away. She likes to read and listen to music, and dance sometimes too. She's in a bit of a love/hate relationship with exercise right now as well, but she makes sure she keeps at it near constantly. Risa likes clothes and she's become a bit of a fashion fan, but more than anything she likes Quidditch, purely because of her dad. dislikes: Her dad being gone. All the secrets that no one is telling her. Being kept in the dark. People treating her like a child. Being forced to do things she doesn't want to do. Bad attention for the wrong reasons. The voice. boggart: Losing anyone else that she loves for reasons she can't understand. erised: Her dad back, everything back to how things were a few years ago, and more more illness. patronus: Risa is too young to cast a patronus right now, but if she could, her memory would be of the last Christmas her and her family spent together, when Emily was there too. wand: Risa ended up being chosen by a very old wand made by Mr Olivander's father when he used to make wands in Diagon Alley, so her wand is 9 1/2 inches, made of Yew and Kneazle whisker. personality: Risa was always a nosy child, always digging for more information and wanting to know what everyone else knew, and never settling with what limited information she was given. Along with that, she was always very innocent and naive, always boppy and jumpy and skippy - a rather happy-go-lucky sort of girl if you saw her. After everything that has happened this year though, she's a lot quieter at the moment and tries to keep to the shadows a little and just fade into the background. She's not as outgoing or outspoken as she used to be, and she doesn't jump and bop as much. That isn't to say that she doesn't still want answers, but she's not as loud about getting them. She's also ruthless at making herself stick to very strict exercise regimes, even though she shouldn't be, and she should be focusing on her diet routines, but that's gone completely out of the window since her dad's death. history your family and such parents: Rio Connors – 36, Deceased as of February '76, and April Connors, 35, store owner. siblings: Chase Connors, Hufflepuff, 6th year. current residence: York overall history: Rio and April were a year apart at school and really got to know each other in their 5/6th year, respectively. They fell almost instantly in love and when she was 18, just out of school she fell pregnant. Both were delighted. Growing up, Risa was told all the stories about her dad being a great quidditch player, but she only saw him on an ‘on a week, off a week’ type basis, depending on when and how much he was working. Despite spending more time with her mother, Risa was always a daddy's girl. Growing up Risa and Chase had almost anything they could need, and there was never a dark moment in their house. They were a happy, close family, although there were a few times when things threatened that. When Risa was eight she started to eat less and less, and no healer at St. Mungo's knew what was wrong with her. It was only when, as a last resort, her mother took her to a muggle doctor that they got their answers. Anorexia. Risa entered a muggle programme to help her get past it, and, eventually, managed to gain control over the situation, though it's something she knows will never entirely go away. Earlier this year, Risa's father was murdered by Death Eaters, and she has no idea why he was targeted, all she knows is that it's tearing a great divide through her family; she's hardly talking to her brother, her mother is always off in a daze, and Risa? She's falling back into old habits, but there's no one around to notice. She'd trying to hide it, and she's hoping that going to Hogwarts will mean she won't need to be so cautious any more. As much as she wants to go to school, and she always had, she's scared to. And she's scared that people will know who she is because of what happened to her dad, and she's also scared because of the whispers she heard about an attack on her brother's girlfriend, but everyone has been really quiet about that.
