character's full name: Abigail Taylor Frazier
nicknames: Call her Abigail, Abi, Gail, or Taylor, and she’s likely to –attempt- to hex you. At the very least you’ll end up in her bad books and it’ll take a hell of a lot of groveling to get back out of them. She goes by the name of Tay, and usually nothing other than that, though, when she was younger she used to like being called Frazi, but she’s somewhat outgrown that now. So Tay it is.

-------
Tay is shorter than average, barely scraping 5’2 at the most. She’s never actually measured her height because she simply doesn’t want to put at exact number to her ‘littleness’. Her older brother has always mocked her height and her appearance – in a good way of course. He always refers to her as ‘Little Tay’ and once described her as being disproportional, because he thinks that her ‘big head doesn’t match her skinny littleness’. Being honest, Tay agrees with the description he uses as it’s pretty much how she feels when she looks in the mirror. She’s a pretty average looking girl who, while slim, isn’t one of those stick figure type of girls. Tay actually has hips and curves.in-depth appearance:
Tay likes her hair straight but sometimes she leaves it in its natural wave. When she does that though, her fringe, which sweeps across her forehead, falls in her face and annoys her twice as much as when it’s straightened. Occasionally, she’ll add highlights of color to her hair but she’s never fully dyed it another color – she likes it as it is, mostly. One thing with Tay, is that she hardly ever ties her hair up, preferring to leave it long and framing her face. You’ll pretty much never see her without her side fringe though.
As far as style and fashion, she doesn’t really care for it. She wears what she likes and what’s comfortable to her, and she’s not all too bothered by these big brand labels that most people want. What she does like, are band tee’s, tops with random quotes on, her skinny jeans, and her good old, trustworthy pair of trainers. Chances of seeing her willingly wearing heels - slim to none. In the past she’s been described as a tomboy but as she’s got older she’s become a little more feminine.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
Tay is quite a quiet girl most of the time, but she is very fun-loving and kind. She doesn’t like fighting or any kind of prejudice or discrimination. So, while she is against the Death Eaters and their hate for muggle-borns, she’s not about to go diving head first into the opposition either. Any kind of fighting is bad in her eyes, but while the Death Eaters are worse and do need to be stopped, it should be left to the aurors in her eyes, and some vigilante group is just as bad as the people they are working against.in-depth personality:
Despite being quiet, if she’s around the right people she can be really fun and enjoys a good laugh. Occasionally she’ll even come out with a really good comeback that people don’t usually expect from her. Also, if she’s around her close friends she’s able to let down her guard and stop caring what people think of her and just let loose. When she starts laughing its sometimes hard for her to calm down again, and tends to end up curled on the floor somewhere clutching her sides.
Which links to the fact that Tay is a bit of a clutz who has very bad balance and not a lot of hand-eye coordination. She’s not what you’d call a sporty person because if she tried to do anything she’d likely end up sprawled on the floor, or stumbling into a wall or some other badly placed object. Or person. She falls and trips a lot and it can be completely without reason but she usually just laughs it off. Even when the fall lands her in the hospital wing with yet another sprained ankle or concussion she’ll be laughing.
For obvious reasons, she’s never played quidditch. Or at least not since she tried it once when she was 8 and ended up with a broken arm and a loose tooth. She can’t even catch a ball standing still, she’s hardly going to be able to catch and throw a ball while hurtling though the air.
Tay likes music and bands and singing along. She doesn’t think she’s got a particularly good voice or anything, but it’s a bit of fun all the same. During the summers she likes going to concerts and shows with her friends or brother but she isn’t that much of a party person. If there’s a party in the common room she’ll show up, but she’ll not be found drinking or dancing wildly on the table tops. She’ll be sitting with some friends in front of the fire just talking and having a laugh.

Tay loves her friends – her best friend being Millie Croft, who she has been friends with ever since their first train ride to Hogwarts when they discovered they shared an birthday and a passion for the same bands.likes:
She loves her bands and her music and singing like a fool, but she would never sing in front of a crowd. She leaves that for the people who are capable of it. One of her favorite things is going to concerts.
Family mean the world to Tay but most of all she loves her brother. He’s always been there for her and they’ve always been close growing up, even with a few years between them. Summers are spent catching up and spending time together and she wouldn’t want them any other way.
Clouds. On a cloudy day she loves to lit outside or sit on a window ledge and pick out pictures and patterns in the clouds. It’s a very peaceful and relaxing pastime that she used to do with her brother. The same brother who used to say that cloud watching in the back yard was the only way of ensuring that she didn’t fall and hurt herself because it’s not really possible to fall any further than the ground you’re already on.
Tay had a slight obsession with sugar quills and sherbet lemons, so if she doesn’t have one in her bag with her then she’s sure to have the other. During each Hogsmeade trip her first stop is the candy store to stock up on more sweets.
[/blockquote][/blockquote]
Fighting and prejudice are the main things that Tay hates. She hates that people should be judged based on their blood type or their magical ability. Why do there even have to be different blood types? Everyone is human!dislikes:
Not getting enough coffee on a morning results in one very grumpy and unhappy Tay, which is definitely not a good thing.
Spiders. She’s quite typical in the fact that despite living in a big old castle, she really hated the little black creepies that hide in the cracks of the walls.
Although Tay laughs when she falls over or trips, she really doesn’t like it when it happens in front of people and she’s left feeling really embarrassed and humiliated.
As a Ravenclaw she’s not likely to say that she hates any of her lessons, but she didn’t pick to study Defense Against the Dark Arts this year for a reason.

-------
boggart: She’s afraid of losing those who are most important to her, and also the idea of something happening to her and her brother than prevents them talking again. He means too much to her. She also fears being made to chose sides in a fight as it’s something that she really doesn’t agree with.
patronus: Tay’s patronus is a cat that looks exactly like the one she used t have as a child – a big fat hairball with funny patterns on his fur.
mirror of erised: What she wants more than anything is just to live a normal and happy life. She wants that life of friends, family, marriage, kids… All of the simple stuff that means a lot but that people sometimes lose sight of and take advantage of.
wand: Hawthorn and Veela hair, 9 1/4”

Tay is from an ordinary half-blood family, but some people still refer to their family as blood traitors.[/blockquote][/blockquote]blood status:

Yorkshire, bordering near the Lake District area [/blockquote][/blockquote]current residence:
Taylor and Jordan grew up in a small town in Yorkshire and took regular trips to the Lake District with their parents. They lived a very secluded life and didn’t have much involvement with the wizarding world until it came the time for them to go to Hogwarts. Growing up they were friends with the local muggle children and they learned to treat everyone as equals, but for the most part, they were still each others’ closest friend and they wouldn’t have had it any other way. When Tay started Hogwarts she met Millie Croft on the train there and the two became instant best friends. Since then, the two have been inseparable throughout the years and have done pretty much everything together, and Tay hopes to keep it that way.in depth history:
The hardest part with Hogwarts was adjusting to the harsh comments that some people made about her being a ‘blood traitor’ and the general rivalry between houses. When she heard of the Death Eaters she couldn’t even begin to fathom why anyone would want to harbor so much hatred and cause pain. Still, she doesn’t want to fight and while she doesn’t believe in what they do, she doesn’t believe that it is the right of people to fight against them, and that the professionals should be left to do their job.
