This had to work. It had to. They were both driving him mental and it was his chance to shoot two birds with one stone. Now if he got them locked in the closet together, Sirius would not only be getting revenge on Evan's for getting him put on detention for the next month, but he'd also not have to listen to James go on and on about the annoying red head. He loved James, he truly did. James was his brother but he was driving Sirius mental with this whole Lily obsession thing. Hopefully a couple of hours locked away with her would make his friend realize he could do way better. Sure she was hot but too uptight and annoying...well Lily surpassed annoying by miles.
Everything was in place, he'd charmed the broom closet door, so anyone on the inside of the closet when the door was locked would be trapped and he'd sent messages to both James and Lily. Being the goody two shoes she was, Sirius had known a simple, anonymous note informing her of a secret stash of banned items stashed here in the broom closet, was sure to the get the red headed Gryffindor down here. As for James, well Sirius had sent his good friend a note asking him to meet him here, because he'd found a new secret passageway. James couldn't resist a little bit of trouble so Sirius knew his friend wouldn't think twice before hurrying down here to meet him.
"Oh if only he knew..." Sirius chuckled, holding his wand ready in his hands. Part of the plan was to relinguish Lily and James wands. After all what was the point of this plan if they could get out so soon. They needed this time, to kill each other, for James to realize how wrong Lily was for him or to finally put the school out of it's misery and do something about the crazy amount of sexual tension between them. Sirius was torn between hoping for the second or third of those three options. Shaking his head he chuckled lightly and leaned back against the wall beside the gargoyle statue that stood next to the closet.
It wasn't long before the silence that enveloped the hallway was broken by the sound of footsteps. Grinning widely Sirius straightened up but remained flat against the wall, not daring to look to see who it was though by the sound of the steps it was obviously a girl. "Idiots...I have better things to do..." Sirius's smirk widened, it was Lily and she was already complaining. He rolled his eyes as opposed to laughing and waited for her to go into the closet. James should be here soon.

Lily was feeling more than a little frustrated now. Her study session in the library had been interrupted by a group of rowdy seventh years who weren't too keen on a fifth year, prefect or not, asking them to quieten down. Three times she'd asked, before finally threatening them with detention, luckily for them Madam Pince had stepped in and asked them, well ordered them, to leave. It had been amusing to say the least watching them sulk and trudge out of the library but Lily was left feeling a little embarrassed that the librarian had had to come to her aid. Though it probably didn't matter, at least there was silence once again, meaning Lily could get back to her studies with no worries of being interrupted.
Though no sooner had she started writing out her notes a note dropped in front of her, halting her attempts to work once more and making the Gryffindor look up. With a frown she glanced all around her to see no one which put her a little on edge to say the least and who could blame her after the last time a group of students had received a note such as this. Curiosity finally won out though and Lily plucked up the note, unfolding it delicately before she began to read it's contents, her shoulders slumping forward with every word she read. "You've got to be kidding me..." she muttered, refolding the note back up and stashing it into her pocket.
Shaking her head she pushed up from her desk and as quickly and quietly as she could began packing her books away in her school bag. Swinging it over her shoulder, she wasted no time in leaving the library. What kind of banned items would someone hide in the broom closet of all places. Lily shook her head again, slightly annoyed that her study session had been cut short and mulling over who could have sent a note. Why had they not bothered to sign it. "Idiots...I have better things to do..." she muttered, looking forward to finding out who these banned items belonged to. Though the more she thought on it the more she began to believe it may be a naive first year, whoever it was she'd have to make sure she had a word with them. Brushing her hair from her face Lily approached the broom cupboard, a frown working it's way onto her face. The door was open and the corridor was empty.
With a shrug of her shoulders she pulled out her wand and stepped into the dimly lit broom cupboard. It was small, cramped but full of boxes. Carefully she began looking through each one, eager to get out of here.

A new secret passageway... in the broom closet? Really? How the heck had they not discovered that sooner? Hell, he'd spent enough time in that cupboard he thought he knew it inside and out by now. But still, if Sirius really had found a secret passage James wasn't about to miss out on the chance for an adventure.
Stuffing the note into his pocket, James left at a jog, taking the stairs two at a time till he reached the portrait that held the secret passage that would take him straight down to the first floor in half the usual amount of time. Thank god for secret passages. They made school so much easier. Not to mention avoiding filch.
Rounding the corner, James saw the cupboard door open and grinned, glancing around him to check he was alone before jogging quickly towards in and jumping in. "So where is-- oh... crap." Now that was something he wasn't expecting. Lily Evans. In the broom closet. Where he was supposed to be meeting Sirius.
Had she busted them already? But... where was Sirius. "Uh... Hey, Evans..."

Lily was inside the closet, Sirius could already hear her rummaging about for those banned items he'd informed her about. Biting his tongue he resisted the urge to laugh but was unable to wipe the huge grin off his face. Okay so she was in place now where was James, had he not....ah there he was. Sirius spotted his best friend creeping down the corridor and again had to bite back the bark of laughter that threatened to erupt as he watched him look around before jumping inside the open closet, "So where is-- oh... crap." Sirius pressed a hand to his mouth, his stomach aching from how amusing he found this. Shaking his head he gathered himself together and readied his wand before stepping out from his hiding place.
"Uh... Hey, Evans..."
"Potter, what are you doing...?"
Sirius quietly mouthed a spell to disarm them both, catching their individual wands in his hands, a huge toothy grin on his face. Not giving them time to react, he waved his wand again so the door closed and he heard the expected click of the charm falling into the place. As of now, from the inside that door was locked, they had no way out. Stepping up to the door, Sirius slipped the wands into his robes before knocking twice on the wooden door, "Have fun kiddies, though not too much...save that for the bedroom yeah?" he called, chuckling as he stepped away from the door, glancing around to make sure he was still alone. "I'll leave your wands in the common room...Au revoir..." he called before turning on his heel and leaving the corridor and the two Gryffindor's to battle out their differences.

Lily was frowning as she looked through the boxes. Seriously where were these banned items, had they been moved already. She hoped not, because that in turn meant more work for her. Lily wasn't afraid of work, in fact she thrived off it but right now she had so much studying she wanted to do and this was keeping her from that. "Where the hell..." he musings were interrupted by the arrival of someone else, "Uh... Hey, Evans...". Lily groaned and turned around, her hands going to her hips immediately as she looked at him, really she should have known he was involved in this somehow.
"Potter, what are you doing...?" she asked, looking at him pointedly though before anything else could be said her wand flew from her robes and out of the closet. Lily turned around quickly and felt her face growing red with indignation, "Black what the hell do you think..." she stopped mid-sentence when the door slammed shut. Growling in frustration Lily moved forward, her body brushing past James as she did and made an attempt to push the door open and felt her stomach drop to the floor when the door didn't budge. "Oh I am going to kill him." she growled, pushing against the door again, resisting every urge she had to yell at Sirius through the wood. It wouldn't do them any good anyway. She rounded on her heel and stepped aside in the small cramped closet, there was barely any room to move around properly and indicated to the door, "Can you open it? Or is this another one of your practical jokes?" she asked, really expecting him to have been in on this.

Lily spotted him around the same time he spotted her, and all he could think of was 'oh sh*t'. His following thought was, 'where the heck is Sirius?'... Which he didn't need to think about for very long before the person in question appeared before James even had a chance to answer Lily.
Something was... what the heck? James spun rapidly and lunged for his wand that flew out of his waistband and out of the closet, but all he managed to do was connect with the door as it was slammed in his face. "Sirius!!!"
"Have fun kiddies, though not too much...save that for the bedroom yeah?"
There was a knock on the door before Sirius's voice faded away with a laugh. That b*stard! What the heck was he trying to do? So... the whole secret passage way thing had been a trick so Sirius could trap him in here with Lily? Great... he didn't actually have a death wish, but he had no doubt that Lily would waste no time in laying all the blame for this on him. She always did.
Lily had brushed past him to try the handle but it wouldn't budge. James sighed and ran a ran through his hair in frustration, making a mess of it even more than it already was. "Only if I don't get to him first."
"Can you open it? Or is this another one of your practical jokes?"
James groaned and rolled his eyes. "How did I just know you'd blame this mess on me?" He muttered, turning to grab the handle of the door. Just like when Lily tried it, it wouldn't budge. He had a hand up the edge of the door to see if there was anything like... a catch or something, but there didn't seem to be anything different about the door at all.
"We need more light in here." He glanced up and the pathetic little flicker of light that hovered above them and frowned again. Damn Sirius for taking their wands... Though maybe, just maybe...
Grabbing a bucket, James flipped it upside down and placed it in the small space in the middle of the floor and stepped up. If he could just work out how to do that weird spell thing... the kind that let you... 'pick up', for lack of a better term, someone else's spell and move it or change it in some way. He didn't know if it would work, but if he could somehow move that light ball a little close to the door he'd be able to get a clearer look at the lock.

"How did I just know you'd blame this mess on me?"
Lily shrugged her shoulders as she leaned back against the wall in order to give James some room to try and open the door. "Because we both know I know you better than you'd like..." she replied, sighing softly when it appeared he wasn't having any more luck than she had with the door. There was no doubt in her mind it was charmed not to open, she'd come across the spell before with poor first years who had been locked in a room by some older kids. Usually the door could be opened from the outside but for those stuck inside there was no getting out.
Lily watched James as he motioned to the small light above him and she frowned softly. Before she could formulate any kind of response, James had overturned a bucket and was standing up on it in the middle of the small, cramped closet. Lily battled a smile as she observed the look of pure concentration on his face as he examined the light, and she had to wonder what he was thinking.
"James come down from there before you fall." she sighed softly, reaching out to tug on his sleeve, giving him a pointed look before she turned back to the door. The last thing they needed was him falling and either crushing her or hurting himself. She began suddenly wishing she'd been able to perfect her use of wandless magic by now. As it was she was only getting to grips with it and none of her spells had panned out right just yet.
"Sirius is smart I'll give him that...the door is charmed if I'm right, from this side. So unless someone out there lets us out we're stuck..." she grumbled, glancing over her shoulder at James, thinking of better ways she could be spending her time. "I will kill him for this though. What on Earth possessed him to lock us two up together is beyond me." she sighed, running a hand through her red hair, and pathetically trying the handle on the door again, hoping her theory was perhaps wrong.

"Better than you'd like, more like. I wish you'd actually take the time to get to know even a little bit." She could hear him clearly, and he knew it, but he did kind of mutter it a bit. That wasn't an argument he wanted to be getting into right now if he could help it.
Frowning, he overturned the bucket and climbed up. From the corner of his eye he could see Lily watching him as he did, and again, he waited for some kind of witty response or comment from her, but there didn't seem to be one coming, so James focused instead on what he was trying to do.
He'd seen it done several times before, and it was a spell that his dad seemed to be particularly fond of casting, so James was aware of the basics of how it worked. Then again, there's only been once or twice that he'd heard his dad speak the spell outloud, and fewer times still he'd seen him do to completely wandless. For some reason, he'd noticed, there was a big difference between wandless magic with your wand in your pocket just not in your hand, and wandless magic where your wand wasn't even in the same room.
He'd tried a couple of different spells wandlessly but there weren't very many he'd managed to get results from. Then again, it was considered a seventh year skill. But for someone who'd managed to become an illegal animagi at the age of 15, he just seemed to get annoyed now when higher level spells didn't work for him. He'd managed to summon his wand to him from across the room before, ad that was probably the only spell that really worked wandlessly for him, the rest were a bit feeble. Well... making a feather hover a few inches wasn't particularly helpful right now.
"James come down from there before you fall."
He felt a tug on his sleeve and glanced down at Lily. "Yank like that and I will fall." He grinned, before turning his attention back to the light ball above him. Reaching up, James let his fingers lightly intertwine with the glowing orb and he could feel the gentle thrum of magic that pulsed through it. That was good... that was a good start. His dad had once explained the spell and how you needed to link with it's 'core of magic' or something, so this was definitely a good start. If only he could remember the rest of it now...
Closing his eyes, James blocked out everything and tried to focus entirely on what he was trying to do. He concentrated on trying to get a good feel for the rhythm of the magic within the light. It was pretty fascinating, that was for sure. He'd never really taken the time to do anything like this, so the feeling was both strange and wonderful to experience.
In his head, James kept repeating the words he'd heard his father use and he gently tried to wrap his fingers around the pulse of magic inside the orb of light. Something was happening, he could feel it. It was almost as if he could feel the magic wrap around his hand as he grasped some control over it. This was awesome! It was working. He'd never have imagined that this would actually work for him right now. Pulling softly, he moved the light ball lower and lower with him, before stepping off the bucket, and lowering it towards the lock on the door. James just could keep the grin off his face at his success.
"Sirius is smart I'll give him that...the door is charmed if I'm right, from this side. So unless someone out there lets us out we're stuck..."
James stood close to Lily with the light ball in front of them as he leaned forward to get a close look at it. The lock seemed completely normal, but there was a faint glimmer that was reflected in the light that he hadn't been able to see before. All magic left a trace, sometimes it was just harder to find that others. This time, James had seen it. "It's charmed alright... knowing Sirius there's a silencing charm on here too... He may be an idiot but he's not stupid." Which meant... how the heck were they going to get out of here?
"I will kill him for this though. What on Earth possessed him to lock us two up together is beyond me."
"I wish I knew... I wish I knew..." He watched as the light reflected on her hair as she ran her fingers through it. He was feeling frustrated with this situation, sure, but then, he'd just managed a really tricky spell first try - wandless and nonverbal, and he was in here with Lily. So... sure she'd likely spend the whole time ranting at him or something, but it could be worse. It could be Snivellus or any other Slytherin he was locked in here with. Then he'd definitely be killing Sirius for it. At the same time, it maybe could be better. Sirius couldn't have chosen one of his quidditch fan girls or something, could he? At least that way he could have enjoyed a good snogging until someone let them out.
Well, maybe this would prove to be a good thing? Maybe they could... talk things out? Come to some kind of agreement? Who knew, but it was worth a try. So long as he didn't say something that would set her off ranting at him, he should be...okay.
"Could be worse though, right? I mean, at least we're... not missing classes?" He trailed off feebly. He was going to say at least they weren't locked in with Slytherin's, but she'd probably end up making some kind of Snape related comment, and he really couldn't be bothered with hearing that name right now.

Lily glared at James and crossed her arms over her chest, "Fine. Fall and break your neck just don't hit me on your way down." she muttered, shaking her head and letting it fall back against the wall. Closing her eyes she began to imagine all the wonderful ways Sirius was going to pay for this. Reporting him to a Professor though was the only logical thing to do, after all the last thing she wanted was to actually hex him when she got her wand back and gain herself a detention in the process. No. Neither Black nor Potter were worth tarnishing her reputation over.
Lily only opened her eyes again when she felt James next to her, opening them she frowned and glanced to her side. To say she was surprised was an understatement. Really she hadn't expected James to succeed in harnessing the little ball of light, it was impressive. For a moment she found herself smiling, especially when she caught sight of the grin on his own face at his accomplishment. "That's incredible..." she commented as he examined the lock. Hadn't she already told him it was charmed?
Rolling her eyes again she leaned back against the wall, her eyes drifting from the door, to the ball of light, then to James before she glanced anywhere else. "Maybe you should put that back...rest of the closet is kind of dark now it's down here." she commented, tucking a lock of hair back behind her ear as she sighed quietly, moving her shoulders. Already she was beginning to grow restless being stuck in a confined space. She didn't do well in confined spaces and it was taking a lot of willpower to not snap, last thing she wanted was arguing whilst being stuck in here.
"Could be worse though, right? I mean, at least we're... not missing classes?"
Lily looked over at James, wondering if that been what he really wanted to say but ignoring it she shrugged. "Maybe not but I have a lot of studying to do and prefect duties to get through...I have a schedule to maintain and Sirius has just gone and screwed that up..." she said, grumbling as she trailed off somewhat shaking her head. Laughing softly she shook her head as she shrugged off her robe, feeling hot now. Taking a breath she tried to ignore the claustrophobic feelings, "Then again he's good at that, screwing up my schedule...both of you are." she said, shooting the smallest of smiles at James, hoping he understood she wasn't having a go, well, not really.
"Filch should be along soon though...he likes to check the closet for students..." she trailed off and blushed, looking past James's shoulder, "Students breaking the rules." she finished lamely.

"That's incredible..."
James couldn't decide whether to grin or not, and instead fought to keep a straight face and not say anything. Was that actually a sort of compliment from the red haired girl who usually did nothing but insult him? This was a surprise to say the least, but he'd probably be better off saying nothing or else those insults would come flying his way again all too soon.
At her next comment, James did grin. It was pretty dark, wasn't it? He pulled the light ball close and held it under his chin. "We could always pull faces." He grinned, remembering all the stupid, random times he'd sat in a dark room with his wand glowing just to get the spooky shadows they created. That was usually around Halloween though, but still.
Sighing, James stepped back up onto the bucket and moved the orb back up to where it had been. Now he just needed to try and let go of it without it going out or something... It suddenly felt like getting hold of it had been the easy part, and the hard part was still to come. He could do this, right?
It was hard to try and unweave the magic and get rid of the control he had over it, and there were a few times when it would flicker or dim before going back to normal. Damn it... this shouldn't be so tricky. James tried something else but it just sent the small room into darkness for a few seconds. "Sh*t... why the heck...?"
Didn't you bring your books with you?" If he could let go of this light thing without it going out then there might still be enough light to read by, if she really wanted to. What he'd do in that case he didn't know, but they needed to find something to do until someone decided to let them out of here.
"Then again he's good at that, screwing up my schedule...both of you are."
James glanced down at her and saw her smile and realized that she didn't actually mean it in a bad way right now. It was right about then that James felt the control over the orb leave, and it drifted back up to its place in the ceiling how it had been before. "Ha! Yes."
Jumping down off the bucket, James grinned and punched the air. How was that for an achievement and a half today? He couldn't help but grin. It felt pretty awesome to have managed all that.
"Filch should be along soon though...he likes to check the closet for students...Students breaking the rules."
He could see the faint blush on her cheeks as she said that and his grin broadened. "But as of right now, no rules are being broken. I mean, if you really wanted to break a rule or two you could, but..." He trailed off with a grin. So... he'd probably just gave her ammunition to start going off on one at him again, but there'd be nothing new there, would there? She was always mad at him.
Besides, there really wasn't a whole lot of space in this cupboard, and he was more that aware of how close they were, even when standing apart. The lighting wasn't great, but he could see her well enough, and usually he didn't get to be this close to her without her screaming at him for something he'd done. She was way too pretty...

Lily looked at James and had to laugh softly at how happy he seemed to be over being able to let go of the light. He had been right when he said she had her books with her, point was there was barely any room to move as there was, plus she may not get along with him but she wasn’t going to be rude. Pulling out her books and burying her nose in them would just be plain ignorant and her parents had raised her to be better than that. No, she could be civil, or at least attempt to be civil for a time.
He was grinning at her, so obviously he had noticed the blush in her cheeks, which only served to make her cheeks darken that much more. Sometimes being a red head sucked, for this very reason, when she went red, her entire face went red. Part of her prayed that he wouldn’t respond to her comment about Filch but she knew James and from that look on his face, he obviously had something she was sure would wind her up, to say.
“But as of right now, no rules are being broken. I mean, if you really wanted to break a rule or two you could, but...” There it was. Rolling her eyes Lily looked at James. They were stood dangerously close due to the cramped space inside the closet but she moved towards him, almost closing the space in-between their two bodies. “What kind of rules are you suggesting, me, a prefect, break then Potter. I could always hex you, though your side kick took my wand...or are you suggesting we make out in order to break the rules?” she asked, tilting her head to the side and smiling.
Shaking her head she sighed softly and moved back to leaning against the wall, not having to even take half a step back in order to do so. “Your good looking, I’m sure you’ve got a line a mile long of girls who would be willing to do just that with you Potter...me...I’m not one of them. Never have been and never will be.” she said, tucking her hair behind her ear before crossing her arms. There was no doubt in her mind that he was incredibly good looking but they were opposites in every way possible, she liked to follow the rules and he still acted like a ten year old, pulling pranks and generally causing trouble. There was no way anything between them would ever work and she hoped he understood that, she wasn’t always turning him down to be cruel, they just weren’t compatible.

Lily moved towards him, which, considering how close they already were, surprised him a little. The distance they were at to start with was far closer than what she usually allowed herself to stand when he was around, so moving closer meant there was hardly any space between them at all. It actually took a lot of effort for him not to do anything while she was standing so close. Part of him just wanted to close that distance and puller her close and kiss her and... all things that pretty much guaranteed that he'd be hexed into next month. While she spoke, though, he couldn't keep his eyes off her lips.
“What kind of rules are you suggesting, me, a prefect, break then Potter. I could always hex you, though your side kick took my wand...or are you suggesting we make out in order to break the rules?”
Now there was definitely an idea, though it was a pity that she'd never allow it. But jeeze what did he look like in that moment? Just staring at her... No, he needed to say or do something that meant he didn't look like a staring fool... "Well hey, you said it not me. So if that's what you really want..." He grinned, though he still found it hard to try and keep focused on her eyes and not let his gaze wander.
Lily moved back and James snapped out of it a bit, shaking his head a little to clear it.
“You're good looking, I’m sure you’ve got a line a mile long of girls who would be willing to do just that with you Potter...me...I’m not one of them. Never have been and never will be.”
"Quidditch fanatics who'd snog anyone with a broom in their hand? Yeah, sure. Pity you're not a fan of sports, Evans, you'd be an exception I'd make to the rule." He grinned and this time it was his turn to move it an little closer to her. He'd heard her say before that she'd never have an interest in him, but he wasn't going to lie, the way she said it this time did sting a little, but he wasn't going to let that show.
Lily had crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back against the wall, even as James had moved in close to her. He couldn't help but glance down and grin. "You do know that standing like that you're only making them look better, right?"
Damn... he sort of deserved a slap for that comment... he probably needed to start thinking before speaking, which was definitely part of his problem at times. Mouth and brain did their own thing and didn't always cooperate. Well, he could always just hope Lily could find a way to see that as a compliment. At least he wasn't like Sirius who would probably have been really blunt and just said 'nice rack'.

"Well hey, you said it not me. So if that's what you really want..."
Lily rolled her eyes and looked at him, wondering why she'd even said that, she knew he would have taken it in some kind of wrong way and twisted it. No, she would never make out with Potter, yes he was incredibly handsome she'd admit that easily. She was female after all but what put her off was his ego, maybe if he deflated that a bit and stopped hexing people for the sake of showing off she'd maybe be able to see him in another light but as of right now he was just an annoyance one she really wanted to get away from. Honestly it always confused her, he could have any girl in the school so why wouldn't he leave her alone, hadn't she made it obvious she wanted nothing to do with him.
"Quidditch fanatics who'd snog anyone with a broom in their hand? Yeah, sure. Pity you're not a fan of sports, Evans, you'd be an exception I'd make to the rule."
Lily couldn't fight the small chuckle that escaped as she looked at James, aware he'd moved closer, though she wasn't worried. After all she was confident he knew better than to try anything, even without her wand she wasn't defenseless, she had a mean right hook after all. Crossing her arms over her chest she leaned back against the wall, even as he moved closer, her eyes drifting to the door, as though hoping that by simply willing it to do so, it would open. "You do know that standing like that you're only making them look better, right?"
Lily froze before slowly turning to look at him, catching the direction of his eyes her mouth fell open in indignation, though she couldn't deny a part of her was amused at his sheer lack of tact. Her cheeks flushed a bright red and she uncrossed her arms, moving forward a fraction, their bodies almost touching as she stared up into his face, her eyes alight. "You James Potter are an absolute pig... she growled, resisting the urge to stamp her foot as she pushed her hand against his chest. The room was too small to cause any real damage so she'd have to settle with words, "I mean why can't you just be a nice, normal guy for just a little while...instead you...you...gah..." she trailed off struggling to figure out something to say.

James watched as Lily slowly registered what it was that he'd said and he couldn't help the grin as he watched her a lovely shade of beetroot again and she quickly uncrossed her arms. He raised an eyebrow in amusement.
Somewhat to his surprise, Lily moved closer to him till there was barely any space between them. In fact, they so close that James was sure he could feel the warmth that radiated from her.
"You James Potter are an absolute pig..." Lily pushed a hand into his chest but he only swayed backwards before steadying himself again and leaning into her hand a little. "I mean why can't you just be a nice, normal guy for just a little while...instead you...you...gah..."
James watched as she struggled over which words would best suit the sort of insult she wanted to throw his way and he just rolled his eyes, stepping forward so that their bodies made contact, and with enough for to knock her back till she was against the wall again. With in seconds his lips were on hers, hands grabbing her wrists to restrain her from any attempted slapping.
The kiss didn't last long. "All guys are pigs, Lily. And I'm about as normal as they get compared to some." He leaned in to capture her lips a second time.

Lily made a few motions with her hands, to signify how frustrated she was getting with not being able to figure out a decent enough insult for Potter. Nothing that came to her mind was good enough. Making fists with her hands she glared at him, opening her mouth to say something when he moved forward, rolling his eyes and his body pressed against her own, knocking her back against the wall. Before she could react at the invasion of personal space his lips were against his, and his hands were restraining her wrists, either side of her, halting any attempts to hit him.
Her mind was whirling as indignation and something else coursed through her tensed body. All too soon, or not soon enough depending on your point of view he broke the kiss and looked down at Lily and her eyes flashed dangerously, though her mouth seemed to be disconnected from her brain for the moment as she didn't yell at him. One thing she was feeling disgusted with was the sense of loss she felt when he'd stopped kissing her, there was a traitrous part of her that had enjoyed it and yearned for more which confused the heck out of the red head because this was James Potter. Right now she was torn between her dislike for him and the desire to feel his lips over her own once more. Two confusing and conflicting emotions.
"All guys are pigs, Lily. And I'm about as normal as they get compared to some."
"Normal? The human race really is screwed then..." she managed to say before his lips were against her own once more and this time she didn't tense against his hold on her, in fact her traitorous body relaxed, and unconsciously leaned into him again as she closed her eyes and returned the kiss, feeling lost in a haze of desire and hatred....a deadly combination when trapped in a confined space.
