[/justify]1970 saw the first movement of the darkest forces the wizarding community had ever seen. Now, in 1975, the first Wizarding War is about to explode.The year 1971 saw the Marauders, Lily Evans and Severus Snape begin their journey at Hogwarts. In 1972 James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew discovered that Remus Lupin was a Werewolf. Instead of turning the seemingly-cursed boy away, it became their aim to teach themselves how to turn into Animagus in order to help Remus through his 'special time of the month'. In 1973, the Ministry of Magic defeated an appeal against House-Elf slavery, and in 1974 He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named began plotting for his rule over the Wizarding World.
The year is now 1975 and the Marauders have entered their fifth year at Hogwarts. It's been a series of ups and downs for the students of Hogwarts this year. Going from the attack on a group of Muggle Born's in the Forbidden Forest in September to the spiked punch at the Halloween Ball in which most of Hogwarts population became completely drunk on Love Potion. New alliances were made, new feelings discovered and friendships torn apart. Relationships were tested and loved ones lost. The students realized that even being at Hogwarts, they weren't immune from the war, if anything they saw more of it than they should. A famous Quidditch Star lost his life, leaving one of Hogwarts own students Fatherless, and with one last brutal attack...this year was finally over, and now we move onto the next, in hopes that maybe it'll be better...
