[/color][/b] Albus Dumbledore is an old man, and his face shows it, networked with wrinkles and laughter-lines from a life well lived. His hair has passed through the phase of being streaked with eld and come out the other side a colour that fluctuates being pale grey and snowy white depending on the lighting and surroundings. He keeps his hair fairly short and neatly cut, but lets his beard grow wild and bushy, though still rather short for the sake of convenience.in-depth appearance:
Dumbledore’s eyes are a stormy-blue and quite openly show his emotions, sparkling and twinkling when he is happy or amused and burning with cold fire on the rare occasions when he is angry, and his eyebrows are bushy and somewhat triangular in shape. His nose is long and broad, somewhat flattened from a long-ago punch from his brother Aberforth at their sister’s funeral. He has a strong chin, and his cheekbones are quite prominent, though the passage of time has somewhat obscured them under increasingly relaxed and wrinkled skin.
Albus’ eyesight is beginning to go as he nears his first century, and while he doesn’t need glasses in regular life, he keeps a pair with irregular quadrilateral shaped lenses on him at all times for reading small text. In his wardrobe, he keeps an extraordinary and bewildering array of cravats, ties and scarves made of unusual or opulent fabrics in rich colours and strange patterns. He also owns a small number of dark and well-worn bowler hats that he used to wear while studying and teaching music at the Royal Academy of Music.
Albus is a very tall man, standing a good few inches above six foot and his rake-thinness only enhances this impression. His shoulders are narrow, and he carries no excess weight on him anywhere; the rigours of his many jobs and the stress of Voldemort’s rise taking their toll. His fingers are long and narrow, musician’s fingers that have escaped the stiffness of age that has began to afflict the rest of him through constant use and practise; writing, wand-waving, performing alchemy and practicing various instruments.
He is rarely found in traditional Wizarding robes; Dumbledore finds them baggy, hot and old-fashioned, wearing them only at the most formal of Ministry events. Otherwise, he goes around in luxurious woollen turtlenecks in blacks, greys and creams during winter, or pale and pastel button-up shirts, sometimes covered in patterns, during the warmer months. He has a large number of velvet, suede and silk smoking jackets in rich and sumptuous colours, which he frequently wears even during hot weather with Cooling charms to keep them comfortable.

Ariana Dumbledore: Albus Dumbledore was Ariana Dumbledore's eldest brother and although he loved his younger sister, Albus was resentful when he had to take responsibility for her after their mother's death, which forced him to stay at home, and thus abandon his ambitious plans. When he and Gellert Grindelwald made plans to subjugate Muggles and take power in the wizarding world, Albus planned to bring Ariana with them, but Aberforth pointed out that she was in no state to go. This launched a three-way duel between the brothers and Grindelwald, and Ariana was accidentally killed in the fray. For the rest of his life, Albus lived with guilt over the part he played in her death, and with the fear that it had been him to kill her.
Aberforth Dumbledore: Aberforth Dumbledore was Albus' younger brother, and they were not alike: Aberforth was never bookish and, unlike Albus, preferred to settle arguments by duelling rather than through reasoned discussion. The two brothers were not close to each other and became worse after the tragic death of Ariana. Albus was heartbroken and Aberforth blamed him for Ariana's death. After their sister's death, Albus came to believe that Aberforth was a better person than he was, and the brothers have yet to reconcile.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
