As Olivia slid her tiny hand into his and put her other hand on his shoulder, Chris couldn't help but smile. He never thought that she'd go for it - and now he would actually have to dance! What was he getting himself into?
The best he could probably do was awkward white-male shuffling.
Olivia led him deep into the dance floor and Chris could feel the music beat through his chest. She was swaying her hips in front of him and Chris stood awkwardly, unable to even muster up the courage to dance.
Ah well. Here went nothing. He reached forward and put his hands on her hips, moving along with her, hoping that he didn't look too stupid.

Olivia couldn't help but laugh lightly at Chris as he stood awkwardly in the middle of the dance floor. Why was it guys always had a harder time dancing than girls...well the sober ones that was. The drunk guys didn't seem to have any kind of trouble shaking it on the dance floor.
"Loosen those hips..." she teased, giving him a cheeky wink as she did so.
Chris reached forward his hands moving to her hips, and before she could concentrate too much on her bodies reaction to having his hands on her, Chris started moving more in rhythm to to the music. Smiling brightly she inched closer to him so there was barely any space between them as her hands moved up to rest on his shoulders.
"Now we're talking..." she said, unable to help the smile on her face all the while ignoring the thundering of her heart in her chest and the heat pooling through her body being this close to him.

There was something about the way that Olivia was able to tease a smile out of him. She was cheeky, full of life, and goddamn beautiful. As his hands slid around her hips, her hands found their way to his shoulders. She didn't think he was being too forward and that was good enough for him!
The two of them moved closer together, enjoying the music and swaying to the beat. If only they'd play a slower song. "Since when have you been so good at dancing?" he half-yelled, trying to be heard over the song that was blaring out from - well, somewhere. Chris didn't know exactly where it was.
"I hope I'm not stealing you from Charity," he said, smiling in the 'yeah-I-know-I'm-cute' kind of way. In all honesty, he didn't really care - he just wanted to see her smile.

"Since when have you been so good at dancing?"
Olivia laughed and shook her head, rolling her eyes playfully before she looked back at Chris. "Everybody can dance Chris...just some of us aren't afraid to shake it...you just have to loosen up...!" she replied, twirling around and swaying her hips before laughing lightly and returning to where she'd previously been, her hands moving to rest over his shoulders.
"I hope I'm not stealing you from Charity,"
That smile, it was both cheeky and adorable in Olivia's opinion and set off a flutter in her stomach. Smiling she shook her head, her eyes twinkling in amusement, "Trust me, Charity will have found someone to replace me by now." she replied, after all her and Charity were so alike, it was easy to predict what the other would do without really having to know.
A few more moments passed and the upbeat music dimmed and something much more slower began. Chris would no doubt be a little more comfortable with that. As the song began to play though Olivia found herself smiling brightly, "I love this song..."

it's chris evans kissing anna faris. so basically. hnggnngng. He shook his head and laughed. "Well, I wish I had your talent," he yelled over the music, watching as she swayed her hips audaciously. His heart skipped a beat as she put her hands on his nearly non-existant hips and swayed him around, teaching him to loosen up. Her hands returned to their place over his shoulders and the smile returned to his face.
Usually Chris wasn't nervous around girls. Olivia was seemingly the exception to that rule.
He laughed in return. Good then - he was able to keep Olivia for that much longer. The song slowed down and changed into something else - a slower song that allowed the many couples in the room to take to the dance floor. The already drunk people saundered off towards the drinks table to refill themselves again for the next round of dancing, but Chris made no move to get off the dance floor.
No, in fact, he was quite happy where he was. 'A Hot Cauldron Full of Love' started blaring out from over the stereo and Chris was suddenly very aware of how close his face was to Olivia's. He had no idea what to say in response, and so, instead, dipped his head and planted his lips softly on Olivia's.

Olivia let out a slow breath hoping to calm her nerves. Yes she was nervous, though she hid it expertly well, practice made perfect right? It was also a strange sensation because she never usually got nervous around guys, so why Chris? He was extremely handsome, how had they never spoken before last night! His laugh was something else, she found it was quickly becoming one of her favorite sounds.
When 'A Hot Cauldron Full of Love' began playing, Olivia found the crowd around them seemed to disappear. She didn't notice anyone aside from the guy holding onto her now, all she was aware of where his hands on her waist and the beautifully deep blue of his eyes.
It was only when she began to get lost in them she realized how close their faces where. Before she could even begin to over think their closeness, Chris lowered his head and softly pressed his lips to Olivia's own and the world around her suddenly seized to be as she responded to the kiss.
One hand slid down to rest against his chest, and after a few moments, she sighed quietly and broke the kiss. They were still so close that one small move and their lips would meet once more. A soft smile spread over her lips and her cheeks flushed a slight red, "That was...unexpected... pleasantly so I may add." she said.

As her hand slid down to his chest, Chris almost forgot to breathe. She had a light touch and that did something to his - well, yeah. Wow. Their lips parted and their noses were almost touching. How was it that Olivia had words to say? Chris could barely manage a grunt as he smiled and then pressed his lips back down to hers for a second time.
Ahh, who cared. It was a party and it was clear that the two of them fancied each other. Maybe it would bloom into something more. Chris didn't know. Either way, his mind was preoccupied with a few other things as their lips moved urgently against each other.
Before he knew it, 'A Hot Cauldron Full of Love' ended on a warbly note and something much faster and upbeat started to play. He broke away from the kiss and met Olivia's eyes with a wide smile. He planted a kiss on her forehead and began swaying to the music once again, holding Olivia tight in his arms.
"Hope I wasn't being too forward," he said, unable to wipe the smile off his face.
