Accepting her second drink from the guy behind the drinks table, Emily continued to rock on the spot, her eyes searching the crowd for her boy-friend or friend. Anyone she spoke to would be good right about now, she was starting to feel like a bit of a wallflower. Taking a sip of her drink she shot a smile to someone she recognized as a seventh year who'd helped her out once or twice in the library. He was friendly enough, and Emily found that thanks to the very little alcohol she'd consumed she was more chatty than usual.
"Come dance with us..." he said to her some time later as Emily took another sip of her drink. For a moment she deliberated whether or not to accept his offer to dance, though after a quick chat with Olivia, Emily figured she may as well. It was a party, and she was enjoying herself, Josh was actually really funny. Putting her unfinished drink down she too his hand and she moved onto the dancefloor and began to dance with him and his friends, both boys and girls and for a moment forgot about Chase and Lachie and her search for them, they'd find her surely.
Minutes ticked by, 3 songs passed and as Josh began to move in a little too close, Emily felt a strong, all to familiar arm wrap it's way around her waist and tug her back against a hard, all to familiar body. A smile worked it's way onto her face as she let her own hand rest over his, waving to Josh as Chase began to move backwards, leading her with him. "Thanks for keeping me company guys..." she sang, finally looking away from them when the distance was finally filled by other dancing students and Chase's other arm wrapped around her waist too.
"You look beautiful, babe."
Feeling him move in time to the music, Emily smiled softly moving her body in time to his own as she leaned back into him. The kiss to her neck sent a shiver down her spine, and biting down on her lip she smiled, and inclined her head to the side so she could look at him. "Thanks handsome..." she said, pressing a kiss to his lips before turning around in a way that meant he didn't have to loosen his hold on her. Snaking her arms around his shoulders, she looked down at his outfit and smiled, "You're looking rather handsome yourself." she commented, shooting him a smile, glad he'd finally found her as she leaned in to press another kiss to his lips.
"This party is incredible...and I thought the Gryffindor's knew how to have a good time..." she said when she finally broke away from him, biting down on her lip as she glanced around at the crowd. Smiling at Chase as another song started, she laughed softly and slid her hands from his shoulders to his hands, before twirling under his arm, her curls bouncing over her shoulders cheerfully, as she began swaying her hips in time to the upbeat tempo of the music.

At Olivia's words, Chase began to look in the direction that she'd just appeared from. At least now he knew where Emily was and that she was definitely here, even though he didn't know who she was with.
It didn't take long before he spotted her dancing in the middle of a group of 7th years, most from his house, some friends from others. Josh. Chase knew him - he also had never particularly liked him. He had a weird set of values that Chase really couldn't understand, and now he only had more reason to dislike the guy. He could see that as the song slowed ever so slightly for the chorus he moved in closer to Emily, reaching to her in a way that made his eyes narrow and a streak of annoyance flash through him.
The small table next to him was covered with abandoned drinks and Chase wasted no time in adding his to the collection. What did it matter? What he was more concerned with right now was getting to Emily and getting her away from that dickhead who thought he could get all close and pally with her. No chance.
Winding his way through the crowd he ignored one of the 6th year girls who tried to speak to him, not caring when she huffed and sulked off. What did she expect? Like news of him and Emily wasn't all over the school already. Besides, he'd made out with her once at the end of year party last years. She couldn't really have been expecting a repeat. It had been a total one-off.
A new song had just started by the time Chase got to Emily and he wasn't about to wait till the end of it like would be 'proper'. He was getting her back now.
Slipping one arm around her waist Chase pulled her backwards till her body was flush against his, making a comment about stealing her back to Josh. No matter how much he tried to sound light-hearted about it he couldn't make the smile reach his eyes, but then, he didn't like Josh at all, so why try and pretend? He was getting his girl out of his grasp, he didn't need to pretend like he was doing anything else.
As Emily's hand rested over his own and she went willing with him, Chase let out a small sigh of relief. He'd have looked like a complete fool if she'd tried to refuse him, or been annoyed at him or something...
"You look beautiful, babe."
As he started swaying in time with the music Emily moved with him and he could feel her lean back into him. He look that as a positive sign and leaned in to kiss her neck. He inhaled deeply through his nose, savoring the sweet scent of her before she turned and kissed him, turning in his arms so that she was facing him, rather than facing away.
"You're looking rather handsome yourself."
Chase grinned and winked at her. "What else would you expect, babe?" He kissed her back, glad that they finally didn't have to worry about where they were or who was around them. He could understand why she'd wanted to keep quiet about them, but he was relieved that the hiding was over.
"This party is incredible...and I thought the Gryffindor's knew how to have a good time..."
"Speaking of Gryffindor's, how did your party go last night? But you should know that no matter how good a party is, it will never compare to a Hufflepuff party. I mean, we have the likes of Olivia and Charity. Our parties are not allowed to suck with those girls around." He grinned and softly bumped noses with Emily, sending her another grin. "We're the house of fun loving."
Another song started playing and Emily started dancing, twirling herself under his arm. Chase grinned and wasted no time in dancing along, even though dancing really wasn't his strong suit and he usually ended up looking a bit stupid. Well... Alcohol made him care less about what he looked like, but it also tended to make him look even stupider. So... maybe it was a good thing that he hadn't drank much yet.
As they danced Chase quickly forgot about Josh and just enjoyed the time he was spending with Emily. For several songs they dances and laughed and stole quick kisses, and the rest of the room faded around them till it felt like it was just the two of them and no one else mattered. When a slower song started playing Chase kept one of her hands in his while the other moved back to her waist to pull her close to him again, and, without saying a word, he pressed his lips to hers in a deep kiss. He really didn't care who was there or who saw them, he was to absorbed in their own little world of the moment.

Emily chuckled and shook her head, "Our party was eventful as usual...after all when Potter and Sirius are involved there's never a dull moment, they make sure we all have a good time. It's a shame you and Lachie didn't come...." she said with a pout before laughing lightly, "And yes I agree with that, Olivia and Charity...their parties are usually the main topic of conversation in our house, people seem to love them." she said, not that she'd ever been to one of them. Emily herself had always opted for studying over partying.
When Chase began dancing with her in time to the upbeat tempo now flooding through the common room, Emily laughed brightly. She'd seriously been debating about whether or not to come tonight considering how bad she'd felt this morning after the Gryffindor party, but the desire to see Chase had won out and she was happy it had. There was no way she would have wanted to miss seeing this side of him, it seemed to bring out a more outgoing, carefree side of herself which she loved. Chase had been the only person who had ever been able to do that.
Laughing some few songs later, she twirled beneath his arm, leaning into his chest she pressed a soft kiss to his lips. Now public displays of affection usually weren't her thing, but again, Chase seemed to bring out a side of her which didn't care what other people thought. When the slower song started and he pulled her closer to him, his hand slipping around her slim waist she were all to willingly. Before she even had a chance to maybe strike up a conversation or kiss him, Chase took the lead and leaned in to kiss her deeply. It was a kiss she responded to immediatley, her free arm wrapping around his shoulder so she could hold herself that little bit closer to his body.
The world around them disappeared as Emily became solely absorbed in Chase. Though when another body collided with them both from the side, she was brought crashing back down to Earth and broke the kiss. Catching her breath she smiled at Chase, pressing her lips to his again before breaking off again and lowering herself from her tiptoes, "I'm thirsty...want to get a drink?" she asked, biting down on her lip as she wiggled out of his arms, grabbed his hand with hers and led him through the crowd to the drinks table.
"I should probably not have another after this one...I get drunk way to easily..." she told Chase as they got their drinks from the table. Smiling at him she took a sip of her drink and looked around, Lachlan often referred to her as a funny drunk,"I'm surprised Lachie hasn't shared any stories with you, last time we had a few drinks we both ended up in the middle of the quidditch pitch singing and dancing to Muggle Music..." she said cringing lightly as she remembered. They'd been incredibly lucky they hadn't been caught.
Leaning against Chase's chest, she moved up onto her tiptoes and pressed another kiss to his lips. As she pulled away she caught sight of a sixth year giving her the stink eye. Looking from her to Chase she shrugged, and couldn't fight back a smile as she leaned back in to kiss him. "So how late do these parties usually run till?" she asked, pulling back to take a sip of her drink, smiling at the people on the dance floor.

"Ah of course, the all famous Marauders. What are those nicknames they call themselves by again? Trouble, Mischief, Tomfoolery, and Frivolities?" Chase grinned. Actually, he had absolutely nothing against any of the four Gryffindor boys at all - he'd even spent time with most of them at some point over the years. And their mid-lesson pranks were always a worthy source of entertainment for the less academically inclined like himself. "And we weren't invited." He sent her a wink.
When the news first went around about all the houses having parties in their common rooms the last thing most people though about was inviting other houses to join their own. And why would they? They had their own party! But, being Hufflepuffs, they were the exception. Most people seemed to have invited a friend or two to join in which was why the room was so crammed right now. That just made for a better party.
"Next time one of the girls hosts a party I'm definitely bringing you with me. I haven't seen you at any of their events before and, babe? You don't know what you're missing." If anyone could go through their whole Hogwarts experience and not once attend a Knightly/Burbage bash, then they'd never lived.
As they danced Emily laughed, causing a grin to split out over Chase's face. He loved this happy, bubbly, carefree side of her, but after everything that she'd faced already this year it seemed to take a little bit of effort to really get her to open up and stop caring about everything else around her. And Chase loved being the one who was able to do that.
When the slow song started and he leaned in to kiss her, he was glad that she didn't try and pull away. He never pictured her for a PDA girl, but then, how much had she had to drink? Who cared? Point was, they drifted off into their own little world for several minutes where only each other existed. They still swayed gently to a beat that Chase, for certain, he long since stopped paying attention to. It was more like they were dancing to their own inner rhythm that no one but themselves could hear or feel.
Someone bumped into the side of them, and Chase looked up quickly, arm wrapping that little bit tighter around her almost automatically. The person - a seventh year? - apologized before disappearing back into the thick of the sea of students.
"I'm thirsty...want to get a drink?" Chase let out a small sigh when Emily only kissed him briefly after setting herself back down on her feet again. He'd been really enjoying being absorbed in the world and he really wished it didn't have to end, but the guys wild dancing had swiftly popped that bubble. "A drink sounds good." He watched as she bit down on her lip, eyes glued to her, and he couldn't help the low groan that escaped him. Dammit... No matter how many times he watched her do that it never failed to arouse him. Was it seriously that easy for her to get him worked up?
They headed through the crowd hand in hand and Chase couldn't help a quick look around to see if he could spot anyone he recognized. Was that Lachie talking to some dark haired girl over there? Probably the one he never shut up about. The nutter.
Chase looked back to Em as she spoke, raising an eyebrow. "And what's wrong with getting drunk? It'll make it so much easier for me to tempt you back to my room with me if you're drunk." He grinned and sent her a cheeky wink, taking a drink from his glass. He wasn't even going to bother trying to find out where his last one went. Well, it wasn't like he was paying for this. "And I do believe I heard mention of that story, though I hadn't realized he'd been with you." It really wasn't hard to imagine the two of them dancing around the quidditch pitch, music blaring, bottle in hand... He grinned at the image he pictured; a carefree and laughing Lachie and Emily was a great thing. Especially since they'd both become slightly withdrawn since that first attack in the forest back in September...
Emily pressed another kiss to his lips, and as she pulled away something behind him seemed to catch her attention, and something flickered across her face. Chase frowned momentarily, glancing over his shoulder to see what she'd seen. Ah, his friendly sixth year who'd sulked off because he wouldn't dance with her. Chase was tempted to roll his eyes but didn't, instead just tipping his glass towards her before looking back down to Emily, battling back a grin. If seeing him with Emily wasn't going to annoy the girl (he couldn't even remember her name) enough, then his mock salute sure would. Hmm, and that second kiss from Em that followed would be the icing on the cake.
"So how late do these parties usually run till?"
Chase grinned at her question, reaching out to keep one hand on her waist even as she stepped backwards and put a little space between them. "Usually till the wee small hours of the morning." He grinned at the slight accent he said it with, as always happened when he used that dialect.
He stepped closer and re-closed the distance between them, leaning down to whisper in her ear. "All the more reason for me to try and encourage you to stay the night. I wouldn't want you to get caught out after hours, of course." And there were a great many things that he did want... but he'd refrain from saying those. It'd been a while since they'd really had the chance to be together and it was, he hated to admit, taking its toll on him. The slightest little things that she did was stirring him in ways that they usually didn't.
He moved back so that he was hovering just in front of her face, inches from her. "And before you say it - that's what the drapes are for." He pressed a quick kiss to her lips before she could say anything. "And that's also why they invented silencing charms." He winked at her cheekily, his voice dropping to a lower, more seductive tone as he said that last part. Okay, so maybe the whole 'things he wasn't going to say he wanted' were going to be inferred after all. But he was Chase Connors, so what did she really expect? He grinned.

Emily looked back at Chase, not bothering to fight the smile that had broken out on her face, "You think you need to get me drunk to tempt me back to your room?" she asked amused, taking another sip of her drink, surprised it was nearly done, shrugging her shoulders she smiled as she thought back on that night fondly, "Yeah it was me...singing our Muggle Music, doing some insane dancing..." she shook her head and laughed, taking another sip of her drink as she did.
After the kiss, seeing Chase give the sixth year across the room a mock salute she laughed softly and shook her head, leaning back up to kiss him, her arm going around his shoulder as she leaned into him, savouring the kiss, she really couldn't seem to get enough of him. Not that she'd ever say that out loud, she had no doubts his ego size would increase once again and he'd never let her live it down. Pulling back she returned his smile, letting him hold onto her waist, pulling her to him. Her free hand went to his chest, her eyes twinkling as her smile widened hearing his accent.
"Usually till the wee small hours of the morning...All the more reason for me to try and encourage you to stay the night. I wouldn't want you to get caught out after hours, of course."
She couldn't fight back the laugh and shook her head, leaning into him as he whispered into her ear, barely any space between their bodies now. Leaning up she nipped at the exposed skin of his jaw, pressing a soft kiss there immediatley after before she pulled back enough to look at him, biting down on her lip she smirked slightly, pressing her body a little closer to his, "So asking me to stay is purely your way of making sure I stay out of trouble right?" she laughed slightly, leaning up to press a kiss on his lips.
"And before you say it - that's what the drapes are for...And that's also why they invented silencing charms."
She readily accepted the kiss he pressed to her lips, almost pouting at how brief it was. There was no denying the butterflies in her stomach as he spoke, the seductive nature of it sending a shiver down in her spine and she knew there was no way she was going to be waiting till early hours of the morning before they could be alone. Looking around her, she smiled and turned back to Chase, leaning up on her tiptoes pressing a kiss to his lips before pulling away. "Must be your lucky night because I am an expert at the silencing charm..." she said, shooting him a wink before slipping out of his hold.
Finishing her drink she placed the empty cup on the table and moved passed Chase, making a 'come hither' motion with her finger, shooting him a seductive smile, biting down on her lip as she slipped through the crowd and towards the steps leading up to the dormitory. It didn't take her long to reach them and once she did, she slipped by unseen and hurried up them, heading straight to Chase's dorm, knowing he'd be following any second.
Laughing lightly to herself she headed into the room and looked around, wanting to make sure they were in fact alone. Satisfied she made her way over to Chase's bed and settled onto the end of it. Leaning back on her hands she crossed her legs over, and bit down on her lip unable to fight the smile off her face as she eagerly awaited Chase's arrival. Again something like this, when there were so many people downstairs was completely out of character for her, and she felt surprised but terribly excited too, Chase really had a strange effect on her.

Chase leaned in close to whisper in her ear and as he did so, Emily reached up and nipped at his jaw, following it with a kiss. His arm tightened its hold around her waist once again and he let out a low sound of content - one he wasn't all too familiar with making, but then, Emily had a really strange effect on him that he hadn't known before.
And there she went with the lip biting again. His head dropped as he stared at her lips from beneath heavy lids, unable to stop the jolt of desire that raced through him at that one small action. She was really beginning to get him worked up... and it was a damn shame that nothing was going to happen about it.
"So asking me to stay is purely your way of making sure I stay out of trouble right?"
Chase laughed softly, kissing her back before he grinned and winked at her. "Of course it is." He tried to look innocent as he said it but it was more that obvious that he was inferring more than just keeping her out of trouble. If anything, he was encouraging trouble of a different sort.
As he joked about drapes and silencing charms Emily pulled away from him and looked around, and for just a brief second doubt flashed through his mind, but then, she wouldn't have kissed him if there was a problem, right?
"Must be your lucky night because I am an expert at the silencing charm..."
She winked and slipped out of his arms as she said it, downing the remainder of her drink and abandoning the cup. As she moved past him the look she gave him was positively seductive, and she motioned for him to follow her as she slipped through the crowd. For several seconds he just stood there in a stunned silence. Did she mean..? Now..?
It took a minute of him standing there open-mouthed before his brain clicked in and started screaming at him, asking what the hell he was waiting for. He didn't need told twice!
Swigging back the final gulp of his drink, he too placed the empty cup back onto the makeshift table before making his way swiftly through the dancing mass.
A hand grabbed at his and pulled and his gaze shot around, not expecting the sudden contact. If it wasn't his good old 6th year friend again. "What?" The tone he used was somewhat short, though he hadn't intended it to be that way. But she was keeping him from getting to Emily.
The older girl looked slightly taken aback at his tone but brushed it off quickly and stepped closer to him, reaching up to run a finger down his chest. "Just wondering if I was allowed a dance with you yet."
She winked in what he was sure was supposed to be a seductive manner, but it only served to annoy Chase as he pushed her hand from his chest and stepped away from her. "Hardly. I think you're more than heard the news by now and you've more than definitely seen the proof. Get over it and find someone else to drool all over."
He didn't even bother to look at her, already moving through the crowd again. Was he too harsh on the girl? Probably. Did he care? Not right now. Not when Emily was probably already in his dorm... at his bed... Hot damn...
Chase slipped through the crowd without anyone else trying to stop him or get in his way, and as soon as he was out of the common room and heading down the corridor towards his room he was already unbuttoning his shirt expectantly. He shrugged it off his shoulders outside of the dorm room and hung it over the door handle before slipping inside, closing the door behind him. It was a pity it didn't have a lock, but then, what would it matter if it did? A simple 'alohomora' and it would open anyway. His shirt would have to make do as a 'keep out' warning should anyone come past, though hopefully that wouldn't matter.
For several seconds he stood behind the closed door, eyes roaming over Emily lounged back over his bed, arms behind her holding her weight, legs crossed, biting her lip again. He groaned at the sight of her and let his eyes travel over the full length of her several times, his breath speeding up as he did so, blood pumping with the knowledge of what was to come. Damn he needed this.
He wanted her now.
After a long minute had passed in silence he finally kicked off his shoes, heading straight towards her with a grin on his face. He stopped in front of her, looked down on her reclined body before planting one knee on the bed beside her, one foot staying on the ground. He leaned forward to kiss her deeply. He didn't want to talk. He just wanted her.
One hand rested just slightly behind hers, supporting him, while the other trailed warm fingers over the cool skin of her thighs. He broke away begrudgingly after a few minutes to look at her again, breathing heavy. "You sure?"
With a party going on just outside and over a hundred students not far away, he was slightly surprised that Emily was willing to do this right now. He sure as hell wasn't complaining! He was just double checking. He had no intentions of letting her escape from him though.

Emily sighed quietly wondering where Chase was, he seemed to be taking a while to get here, she couldn't help but wonder what was keeping him, or was he taking his time on purpose. Laughing lightly to herself she shook her head, she really wouldn't put it past him. Though as she began thinking about maybe heading back to the party and finding out where he was, the dorm room door opened and Chase stepped inside, the mere sight of him causing Emily's heart rate to speed up to a dangerous pace.
Biting down on her lip she took a shuddering breath, her eyes roaming over his body. Somewhere along the way he'd lost his shirt, giving her a great view. Part of her wondered why he even wore a shirt, it seemed to be crime against nature, he truly was a work of art. Best of all, he was all hers and apparently she had no problem everyone being aware of that fact, as proven by not only by her actions in the common room, but what she was doing now. It was completely out of character but she didn't care, she desired Chase now, it felt like forever since they'd been together, when in fact it had only been Halloween.
"Took your time handsome." she said, her eyes following him as he crossed the room to reach her, finally after what felt like hours, but was probably only a minute. Kicking off her own shoes she looked up at him, her body positively humming when he leaned in close to kiss her. She responded eagerly, her hand moving up to his bare chest, and she barely held back the shiver as she felt his skilled fingers trail over the soft skin of her thigh, sending her heart racing.
All too soon though Chase broke away, allowing them both a moment to try and catch their breath. His next question surprised her somewhat but she smiled softly, and instead of answering right away, she slid the hand resting on his chest up around the back of his neck, pulling him back down. Pressing her lips to his again she kissed him deeply, maneuvering her body to slide from beneath his. Breaking the kiss, she smiled and stood up, pushing Chase down so he lay back on the bed. Keeping her eyes locked with his, she bit down on her lip and not saying anything reached for the zipper on her dress.
Slowly, almost teasingly she slid it down letting it pool to her feet before she stepped out of it. Smiling softly she stepped back towards Chase, clad in just her underwear and straddled his waist, leaning down to press her lips to his. "Oh I'm sure..." she whispered against his lips, smiling as she leaned back into kiss him, her fingers trailing down his chest, and over his stomach. Leaning back from the kiss she smiled down at Chase, biting down on her lip as her fingers swiftly opened the button to his trousers...
FADE TO BLACK
Emily struggled to fight back the smile as she fastened the clasp on her bra, her eyes glancing across to Chase as they both got dressed. Her entire body hummed pleasantly from their activities, and her skin felt extremely sensitive. Biting down on her lip she stood from the bed and reached for her dress, "Bad influence..." she sighed jokingly, shooting a smile to Chase as she spoke. Pulling her dress up over her body she sighed quietly and turned around to Chase, "Fasten me up?" she asked, brushing her hair over her shoulder and out of the way.
Part of her didn't want to go back down to the party, she would much rather stay up here with Chase. Though she was positive they were going to be getting some much needed alone time later on. Looking at the drapes on his bed she couldn't fight back the smile, wondering if Chase's idea to simply close them and cast a silencing charm would work. Looking up at Chase she smiled again, "So...about later on tonight...you still up for that or you going to help me sneak back to my own room?" she asked her hand trailing up over his chest, wondering quietly where his shirt was. Still really hoping he wanted her to stay, she really didn't want to sleep alone tonight...not that she'd get much sleep here, but still...

Emily had been the first one to make a move and start gathering her clothes together while Chase just lay back feeling content, and, of course, enjoying the sight of naked Emily hunting around her her clothes. He couldn't fight the smile off his face as he watched her.
He'd been more that a little surprised earlier when she'd pushed him down and taken the lead in the way she had but there was no doubt that he thoroughly enjoyed her taking charge. He'd have to try and make her do that more often. She was completely entrancing.
It was only when she'd started to dress that Chase reluctantly pushed himself up and looked around for his own clothes which thankfully weren't too far away. He threw back the covers and swung his feet to the floor, reaching down to pick his pants and trousers up from where they'd been abandoned before.
He glanced up as Emily spoke but he didn't say anything in reply, just laughed softly and shook his head. It was probably true, but it had been completely her choice to do this now. Even now, after being together for a couple of months, she was still so full of surprised and never ceased to amaze him.
"Fasten me up?"
Again, Chase said nothing, just pushed up from the bed and quickly pulled his trousers all the way up and buttoned them quickly, sighting his socks and reminding himself that he needed to get them afterwards.
He let his fingers brush lightly over Emily's skin before finally reaching for the zipper, his eyes on her exposed neck. He couldn't help himself - couldn't resist. He slid an arm around her waist to keep her body locked close to him and nuzzled into her neck, teeth grazing lightly over the pale skin there, followed by a number of soft kisses on the sensitive area.
He knew that they really should be getting back down to the party but... he didn't really want to. He'd much rather stay here with Emily all night.
Reluctantly he released her, one final kiss planted to the back of her neck before spinning her in his arms so that she was facing him. He smiled down at her in return.
"So...about later on tonight...you still up for that or you going to help me sneak back to my own room?"
Chase chucked and let his head drop, raising an eyebrow and looking up at her, a stupid look but one that would get his point across. "You even have to ask me that?" He shook his head, an amused look crossing his features. "Babe, you're not going anywhere tonight."
He didn't want to her her out of his sight. Heck! He didn't want to let her out of his arms, even.
Smiling down at her, he brushed her hair back from her face with one hand before closing the distance between them and kissing her sweetly. "Tonight you're mine." He murmured, moving only a fraction of an inch away from her as his said it, lips still brushing hers as he did.
This was the reason he really didn't want to return to the party right now.

Emily let her head fall back against Chase's shoulder when he pulled her back to him, locking her body back against his. Biting down on her lip she closed her eyes, and ran her fingers along his arm, releasing a small sigh. As previously mentioned her entire body still hummed and was sensitive after their activities, so when Chase grazed his teeth along the soft skin of her neck she could barely repress a shiver. "Your making it increasingly difficult to work up enough will to leave this room Chase Connors." she laughed lightly, letting him spin her around in his arms after he placed a final kiss on her neck.
Instinctively her arms snaked their way up over his chest and around his bare, broad shoulders as she asked him his plans for the night. The look she received off him was enough to make her laugh softly, scrunching up her nose as she did. "See now sweetie I'm not sure...unless of course you just want us to sleep...I could use a good nights sleep anyway..." she said with a straight face, nodding her head and winking at Chase. She knew better than anyone that it wasn't sleep she'd be getting tonight but it was fun to tease.
Her fingers danced idly with a tuft of her hair, loving the feel of it between her fingers, it was insane, she really couldn't get enough of this guy. In a way it was kind of scary to be so drawn to someone, you didn't want to let go of them or be apart from them for any length of time.
As he tucked her hair behind her ear, she leaned against his hand sighing contentedly when he closed the distance between them, pressing his lips to hers. The kiss was sweet, gentle and as he murmured something against her lips, she smiled softly, barely able to suppress a shiver at the sensations his words invoked inside of her. "Mmmm I like how that sounds..." she whispered, closing the gap between them to press her lips against his once more though as she did, a familiar pool of heat settled in the pit of her stomach and she shifted in Chase's arms, reluctantly breaking away from him.
Running her tongue along her lip, she looked from Chase, to his inviting lips, down to his naked chest then back to his face and closed her eyes. "Come on there's a party going on...get your shirt on your being distracting..." she said, forcing herself to break away from him and begin hunting her shoes out. The last thing she wanted now was to go down the stairs but she knew they were going to have to, Chase was just making it extremely difficult.
Finding her shoes she smiled and crouched down to slip them on, glancing over her shoulder at Chase, she smiled and shot him a wink. There was no denying she was looking forward to returning back to this dorm when the party was over, "You know if we don't get down there soon your girl-friends going to be wondering where you are..." she sang, sticking her tongue out at him and smiling as she stood to face him, just so he knew she was only joking around. There was no doubt in her mind anymore that he wanted her, and only her...

"Your making it increasingly difficult to work up enough will to leave this room Chase Connors."
He chuckled as he spun her around in his arms to face him. "That's because you're not supposed to want to leave this room."
He knew exactly how she felt. Although Chase loved parties, this was one that he didn't want to return to. Not if he got to spend more time with Emily. And that was a feeling that he couldn't entirely understand but he tried not to think about it too much.
Emily's arms wrapped around his shoulders and his wound around her waist until once again there was very little space between them.
"See now sweetie I'm not sure...unless of course you just want us to sleep...I could use a good nights sleep anyway..."
Chase raised an eyebrow at her. "You only want to sleep?" He grinned at her and returned her wink. "Some how I don't think that's the case, m'dear." Well, even if they did just sleep tonight he would be fine with that. It wasn't like they hadn't just been together after all. Though if he could get more tonight he wouldn't say no. The time they'd just spent tangled in each other's arms had been enough to take the edge off things, but it didn't mean he didn't still want more. They hadn't been together since Halloween, and sure that had only been a few weeks back, but it felt like ages ago.
Chase kissed Emily, unable to stay away from her and also finding any excuse he could not to go back to the party that was in full swing downstairs. She said something back to him before pulling away with a sigh, then looking him over. He couldn't help a small smirk at the way she looked at him - she sure was good for his ego.
"Come on there's a party going on...get your shirt on your being distracting..." Chase laughed softly as she started reaching for her shoes and sliding him on, and it took him a few seconds to remember where he'd left his shirt in the first place. Of course. On the door.
Instead of moving he stood sill and just kept watching Emily as she crouched to slip her shoes on, a smug look on his face as he did.
"You know if we don't get down there soon your girl-friends going to be wondering where you are..."
His eyebrows shot up and he couldn't help but laugh. "Oh yeah? ...And which of my girlfriends are we talking about here?" He grinned at Emily with a look that showed his was clearly joking and he made towards the door, sliding his feet into his shoes as he passed them along the way.
Pulling open the door he quickly unhooked his shirt from around the handle on the outside. Chase fought to hold in a laugh as he saw the shocked look on the face of a 7th year passing by.
Chase looked back to Emily and grinned at her. "Party time, babe?"

Smirking Emily shrugged her shoulders, "Nah, we can sleep after" she said shooting him a cheeky smile and a wink. Now normally she'd never be talking like this Chase, sure was bringing out a wilder less refrained side of her which she actually really liked. When he leaned in to kiss her, Emily sighed contentedly again and all but melted against him once more. When they broke apart and parted she was disappointed to say the least but hit it well, enjoying the sound of his laughter when she made a joke about him not having a shirt on.
Turning to look over her shoulder at him she laughed and shook her head, refastening the strap on her heel before she stood, crossing her arms over her chest. "The one who was giving me the stink eye before in the common room..." she replied, sticking her tongue out at him playfully. Watching as he crossed his room to slip on his shoes.
It made her smile that she could joke about things like this with him, especially after how she'd felt over Elena. Maybe it was because she knew he only wanted her, maybe that was why she wasn't feeling so insecure about their relationship or whether she was enough to keep him interested. It was actually a relieve not to be worrying about that, sure she knew he could still move on, find someone else but for now she'd just enjoy their time together, however long or brief that would be. They were having fun and that was all that mattered, sure she cared for him a hell of a lot more than she would admit.
Chase pulled the door open and she was amused to see his shirt hanging on the door handle. Laughing lightly she shook her head, then felt a blush settle on her cheeks as the other student passed by the door, glancing in at them and looking shocked as he did. Chase of course looked amused, whereas Emily's cheeks were red. Shaking her head she fought a smile, and walked over to Chase when he turned to grin at her.
"Party time, babe?"
She sighed dramatically as she reached him, taking his hand in hers, "I suppose we should return to the madness..." she said, pouting ever so slightly before smiling at Chase. Reaching up and keeping hold of his hand, she wrapped her other arm around his shoulder and standing on her tiptoes, pressed her lips against his, kissing him deeply and pressing her body tightly against his own. Nipping at his lip she quickly ran her tongue along it, smiling into the kiss.
Breaking the kiss, she purposefully and tantalizingly slow lowered herself down off her tiptoes, teasingly rubbing against his body as she did. Smiling brightly as though she'd done nothing she stepped back out of his arms, and tugged on his hand as she stepped through the door, "Are you coming? Or do I have to go and find Josh? See if he fancies a dance?" she asked teasingly sticking out her tongue as she backed up into the hall.

As lucky as they'd been to avoid other students on the way to the dorm, they weren't so lucky as to avoid them on the way out. Chase being Chase, he didn't give a damn who saw them. Heck! He'd been the one who left his shirt on the outside of the door - possibly the most well known 'do not disturb sexy time' symbol that any teenager knew. It was Emily who was a little more... shy about it, for lack of a better term.
For that reason, Chase expected to see the blush of color on her face when they were caught, and why he only grinned and made the comment he did. So what if someone knew what they'd done? For all they knew, this guy had just come from doing exactly the same thing. But then... Amos Diggory? Probably not. They guy was a bit of a social failure.
Emily took his hand. "I suppose we should return to the madness..."
"Of course we should. I have no doubt the fun is only just beginning. There's bound to party games at some point tonight."
When she smiled at him he sent a somewhat goofy looking one back at her, and when she moved in close to him to kiss him again he wasted no time in wrapping his free arm around her waist to pull her close again, just enjoying this one last moment they had to be alone before they were swept straight back into the press of the partying crowd.
With Emily pressed tightly to him, kissing and nipping, Chase didn't want the moment to end. No matter how much time he spend with her he ever grew bored - never wanted to leave. Was it because their relationship was still new? Who knew? But right now it felt to him as if he could spend forever with her and never get bored.
The little minx. There was no doubt in Chase's mind that she was intentionally teasing him as she lowered herself slowly to her feet, still pressing against him. It stirred sparks in places that didn't need to be 're-sparked' just yet. But, hot damn...
And that smile... she definitely did it on purpose, and even while he had to fight to keep his expression neutral, he still narrowed his eyes suspiciously at her afterwards.
"Are you coming? Or do I have to go and find Josh? See if he fancies a dance?"
Chase scoffed and let go of her hand, sliding his around her waist and pulling her tight into his side and he continued to walk them down the corridor. "Yeah right. If you're dancing with anyone you're dancing with me." And yes, he was still feeling a little... overprotective. He hadn't liked seeing Josh try to make some sort of move on Emily. He was a sleazy b*stard to begin with.
It didn't take very long at all before they were battling the crowd again, fighting to get though without much of a destination in mind. Though probably just to the seats would be a good start... the drink perhaps?
He didn't need to think on it for too long before someone grabbed his arm and a familiar face appeared in front of them.
"Party game time. Round up some player's, my pretties."
With a quick air-kiss to them both, Charity was gone.
Chase looked to Emily and shrugged. "I told you there'd be games. Let's go find some people." It must have just been good timing because Chase sighted Lachie dancing with that girl he'd been goo-eyeing for the past few weeks. He prodded him in the shoulder before shouting over the loud music so he could be heard. "Charity says game time - c'mon."
He sent another grin towards Emily before planting another kiss to her lips, then leaning around to her ear. "That little trick-tease outside the dorm? You will so be paying for that later." Chase nibbled softly on her ear lobe, his tone clearly suggestive.
With a small sigh, Chase moved away, tugging her with him towards the table that Charity was now standing on, bottle in hand. A bottle he recognized from when he'd brought the drinks in earlier. They were all in for... fun... with that stuff she held. 'Cos boysh was that stuff strong!

Emily hadn't missed the way he narrowed his eyes suspiciously at her and couldn't fight the laugh that escaped. He scoffed at her comment about Josh and quickly wrapped his arm tightly around her waist, pulling her into his side, to which she went willingly, her own arm wrapping around his sides, she actually liked the protective side of him, "You got some moves on the dance floor then? Think you can keep up?" she asked with a smile.
If it were possible the crowd in the common room seemed to have increased even more than it had been before they'd left for Chase's room. So to save from losing Chase, she kept her arm tightly around him and if possible he brought her closer to him as they tried to battle their way through everyone. Before she could ask where they were going, another girl stopped in front of them announcing they were to play games and telling Chase to gather some people. She smiled in mild amusement at the girl, before she disappeared.
"I told you there'd be games. Let's go find some people."
Games, that sounded fun, Emily just hoped she didn't end up regretting the decision to join in. Soon after Charity had faded into the crowd Lachie seemed to appear out of nowhere, dancing with a girl. Looking at her Emily instantly realized she must be the Ravenclaw he liked and she forced a small smile. Again, she was in no way jealous, she wanted Lachie happy, it was simply her protective side kicking in since she herself didn't know the girl. She seemed nice enough though, at least according to Trent who was friends with her, Emily figured tonight would be a good time to get to know this Tay a little better.
She gave the other girl a smile and small wave before she let Chase turn her away. He smiled at her, planting a kiss on her lips before she could return it. "That little trick-tease outside the dorm? You will so be paying for that later." he whispered into her ear, nibbling at it slightly. His suggestive tone sending a shiver down Emily's spine as she pulled back enough to smile at him, "Bring it on babe, I look forward to it." she said, giving him a flirty wink before he reluctantly moved back from her, leading her towards the table.
"Oooh shots...fun!" she said to Chase as they stopped at the table. Smiling at him, she took a position at the table and waited for others to join them.
