Georgie couldn't be bothered to go far tonight, all she cared about was being out of the castle and off the grounds of the place. So, she settled for going into Hogsmeade and settling herself down somewhere nicely out of the way.
She's considered going into the Hog's Head for a drink but decided against it. She wanted to feel the wind on her face tonight so she'd kept on walking. Eventually, she found herself at the top of the hill, where a fence blocked off all access to the Shrieking Shack. Now there would be a good adventure one day... The Shrieking Shack... Such a dark and mysterious place.
Pulling something out of her pocket Georgie looked between her options for tonight. Well, doing lines wasn't very practical in the wind, so a joint it was.
She sat down on the lone bench at the top of the hill and lit up, still staring out towards the haunted building. She let her eyes drift closed as she felt the smoke hit her lungs, and she let it out slowly, feeling it calm her nerves and release the pressure from her shoulders. Now this was what she enjoyed most.
For several long minutes she enjoyed the silence and solitude that the night provided her, that is, until she became aware of footsteps from somewhere behind her. Who was out at this time of night? A fellow student? Or someone entirely different that she didn't know?
She kept her back to them and waited till the footsteps were right behind her before she spoke. "Do you want something, or do you just want to annoy me?"

Elena wasn't exactly sure what she was doing out in Hogsmeade alone, especially this late. Maybe she was just reluctant to spend another dull night in that castle. Narcissa had been nowhere to find, neither had Granton so she'd come out trying to find some way of entertaining herself.
This was how she'd ended up walking the outskirts of of Hogsmeade, a flask of firewhiskey held tightly in her hand. Usually she'd make an appearence in the pubs and bars around the small town but she was in no mood for battling off the unwanted attention of some of the more older patrons who seemed unable to take hints when they were given.
Not really paying attention to where her steps were leading her, Elena walked along the more grassy areas of Hogsmeade, her mind a million miles away from where it should be. Maybe she could convince Granton or Narcissa to sneak out next weekend, hit some clubs, it had been far too long she felt since they'd all just let loose, and the fail that had been the Halloween ball didn't count.
The only good thing that had happened that night had been the brief time she'd spent with Granton...and she was doing her best to block out the part of the night she'd spent being chummy chummy with Chase Connors. God help her if any of the other Slytherins figured out she'd willingly sat there talking to him...
Taking a long swig from her flask, and hearing the voice just ahead Elena's steps faltered to a stop. Groaning quietly she rolled her eyes, not realising she'd been so close to the Shrieking Shack and now sadly in the presence of someone she really didn't like.
"What would I want from you Georgina...annoying you is just a bonus for me...?" she asked, using the girls full name with a little bit of a snark in her voice. Chuckling she took another few steps forward, having every intention of walking right past the other girl...

Now there was a snarky little voice she recognized. Little Elena Haworth. She'd been such a pathetic and annoying child when she started school, but she'd had some potential. Every so often she'd have a comeback to something another student had said that was almost impressive. Almost.
She'd had attitude, and Georgie liked it. She'd thought that perhaps if she got her claws in early enough she'd be able to help the younger girl find her feet and her name, and make something of herself. Well, it had worked, but not in the way she'd hoped. The little b*tch thought she was too good for Georgie, and decided to branch out on her own. Ha. She was pathetic. If little, fourteen year old Elena had thought she could out b*tch Georgie there wasn't a brain in her head.
Well, now she was fifteen and even though it had been a while, Georgie still kept her eye on the little wanna be, and she wasn't all that impressed. Why had she ever thought she could make something of the girl? Did she have attitude? Yes. Did she have the guts needed? Not really. Underneath the outer shell, was she bad to the core? Not a chance. And there really wasn't any chance of changing that.
Elena had clearly picked up a thing or two from her though, and now it all just sort of annoyed Georgie. There was nothing original about the look-the-part blond - she was just a copycat who acted like she'd learnt it all herself. She didn't have the past or the family life that would let her learn it herself. That's what she'd needed Georgie for, or she'd still be a little doe-eyed shadow who occasionally shot daggers.
"I remember many times you've wanted from me, Little El. Begged for even. Don't you remember too?"
She spun sharply and put her feet out in front of her, stretched full length over the ground, blocking Elena's way, lest she step over them. Georgie looked at her and and gave her a twisted smile, eyes locked on hers as she took another long drag from her joint and breathed out the heavy smoke in Elena direction, the wind catching it so that it would rise into her face. She smirked.
My, my. This was interesting, wasn't it?

Elena looked at the other girl, an expression that clearly showed her lack of interest in talking right now. There'd been a time when she'd lived and breathed for the teachings of this girl, looked up to her in ways she'd never looked up to anyone. She'd been Elena's idol, someone she strived to be like at one point. Elena had even put Georgie in the position of 'big sister' believing the other girl was on her side always, but as all good things usually do, that naive perception and believe in the older girl had soon come to a crashing stop.
"I remember many times you've wanted from me, Little El. Begged for even. Don't you remember too?"
Elena rolled her eyes and shook her head, resting her hand on her hip. When Georgie turned around, stretching out her legs and effectively blocking Elena's direct path, Elena sighed and shook her head, finally stopping long enough to meet the other girls stare. "I never beg anyone for anything Georgie girl, Rule Number 3, never beg, never make yourself that pathetic...don't you remember?" she asked with a small smirk, it had after all been Georgie's rule, rules Elena still lived by.
Licking her lips she took one final sip from her flask before tossing it aside and returning her gaze to Elena. When the smoke from Georgie's cigerette hit Elena in the face the blonde didn't flinch one tiny bit, in fact her smile widened and she rolled her eyes. "So what's wrong, all your friends bail on you tonight...oh wait, you don't have any friends right? Because Georgina Parkinson needs no one but herself..." she sneered, crossing her arms over her chest. Again, there'd been a time she'd thought Georgie had considered her a friend, but that had turned out to be a huge misunderstanding on her part, Georgie had in fact saw her nothing but a pet, and dropped her as soon as she got bored or trying to mould her into what she wanted...

"I never beg anyone for anything Georgie girl, Rule Number 3, never beg, never make yourself that pathetic...don't you remember?"
Georgie didn't miss the smirk and retured one in full. "Well, well. Perhaps you did learn something after all. When you weren't being a pathetic whelp." Georgina let her eyes take in the other girl and her smirk grew. "I see you never changed a bit. You're all look and fake attitude. There was a reason I tired of you and your pathetic ways."
Seems that Georgie's work had paid off after all, and the young blonde had learned more than just a thing or two in the time she'd spent under Georgies wing. But look at her now - to confident and sure of herself, so... certain that she was and had everything. But without Georgie she'd have been nothing more than a pathetic child still curled up in a corner. No. Elena might consider herself to be above and better than the teachings Georgie so willingly gave, but truth was, this girl was just an echo - a shadow of Georgie herself. Without her, this girl was nothing.
"So what's wrong, all your friends bail on you tonight...oh wait, you don't have any friends right? Because Georgina Parkinson needs no one but herself..."
It was Georgie's turn to roll her eyes and look at Elena in a way that clearly showed how pathetic she thought the other girl to be. "Oh please. Of course I need my friends." She gave a mocking smile and put on a sickly sweet voice. "I just don't need the friends that don't want to be there. But that was your loss, not mine." Her eyes looked Elena over again in the most condensing manner she could acheive, before a smirk pulled at her lips once more. "Besides, with the likes of... hmm... I don't know... Granton? What better 'friends' could a girl want?"
Georgie and Granton used to be rather close friends. In fact, it was because of Georgie that Granton even knew who Elena was in the first place. But make no mistake, Georgie knew exactly what was going on between the two of them. Who was little El to keep her friend from her? Well... that was about to change, she was sure. This pathetic little copy cat child who stood before her thought far too highly of herself. It seemed that she'd already forgotten that Georgie had made her into the person that she is, but that she'd never be better than he. Perhaps she needed a lesson in who really held the upper hand in this world.
Georgie smirked. "Speaking of Granton, baby. What do you think? Me and him? I can toootally picture it. Can't you?" Again with the sickly sweet tone and fake smiles - typical Georgie style. What better way to end this night that with a challenge between two rivals? And Elena had better be prepared to step off her high horse. Georgie was the one in charge around here. She was about to be taught another lesson, and this one? This would hurt.

"Well, well. Perhaps you did learn something after all. When you weren't being a pathetic whelp...I see you never changed a bit. You're all look and fake attitude. There was a reason I tired of you and your pathetic ways."
Elena rolled her eyes and sighed signalling her increasing boredom at this conversation and didn't even bother answering Georgina. Everything Georgina was saying was everything Elena had heard before from the older girl, who couldn't seem to accept the fact that the blonde had no interest in playing pet. To think that at one point all Elena had craved was Georgina's approval, now Elena couldn't even understand why. All Georgina had done was hold her back, never allowed her to express herself the way she wanted. All Georgina had wanted was a carbon copy of herself, a pet and Elena had quickly grown tired of playing that role, of being belittled all the time, told she'd never be good enough.
Elena had long since accepted she'd never get to the status Georgina held, but in her own defence Elena didn't want to. All she wanted was to be herself, express herself in ways she wanted, dress how she wanted, talk to who she wanted...there was no way she would let anyone tell her what to do again. The day she'd said so to Georgina had been the day Elena realised that Georgina had never been a friend, had never cared for her, because she'd quickly dropped her and turned her back on the younger girl without so much as a second glance. Sure it had hurt, but Elena had moved on now and was so over it.
Narrowing her eyes at Georgina, Elena laughed and shook her head, "Your the one who dropped me Georgie...we were never friends...you made perfectly clear the day you turned your back on me..." she said in response to Georgie, and had to fight reacting to Georgie's next jibe about Granton and tried not to think too much on what Georgie meant when she spoke of the other seventh year. Sure she'd been the one to introduce Elena and Granton but what had happened after that was nothing to do with her.
"Speaking of Granton, baby. What do you think? Me and him? I can toootally picture it. Can't you?"
Elena fought a frown and instead matched Georgina's smirk with one of her own, clearly masking her obvious annoyance, "Your good Georgie I'll give you that...but Grantons not desperate...he can have his pick of any girl in this school, you really think he'd scrape the barrel with you?" she chuckled, her eyes looking Georgie over before she shook her head and walked passed the other girl. A few steps away she stopped and turned back to Georgina, "Plus he does seem to have this small fetish for blondes so...to save embarresing yourself I'd stay well away from him..." she said, ignoring the horrible knawing worry she felt. She knew Georgina better than most, if she wanted Granton she'd get him...

Georgie didn't miss the beginning of the frown that passed Elena's face before she covered it up with a smirk. It may be dark, but Georgie still knew the younger girl well enough to be able to pick up on small details like that. She smirked back while she listened - a smirk that only grew as she watched Elena look her over. She didn't say anything, just watched as she walked past. Honestly, when would this girl ever learn that Georgie could see straight through her fake bravado to the pathetic child underneath.
Beneath the act she was nothing. She was just scared and far too wanting. The one reason that Georgie knew the blonde would never succeed? She had too much of a heart, even if she didn't let it show. To rule like Georgie you needed to be cold and heartless - not let your heart or moral mind get in the way of what you needed to do. Elena would never be able to switch off that side of herself. Emotions ruled her far too much. She was weak. How many times had Georgie tried to tell her? 'You can't make everyone love you, but you can make them fear you.'
Elena spoke again. The smug look on Georgie's face was enough to make anyone worry. She shook her head, looking at the other girl with a mock-sad expression, but her amusement clearly showed through."Babe, just because he chooses to f*ck you when you spread 'em for him, doesn't mean you're his choice of preference. Or do you not remember any of his past flings and one nighters? As far as blonds go, you're only the... second?"
Georgie pushed to her feet, taking a final drag before throwing the rest to the ground. She took the few steps needed to fill the space between the two of them, stopping when she was only mere inches from the other girl. "From what I recall, he's always been more partial to a brunette in past times. You really don't know him too well at all, do you?" She looked Elena over slowly in a way that clearly suggested she viewed the other girl as being beneath her. "Well, we'll see, won't we? Because being honest, I don't think it's going to be too hard to make him look in a different direction. Challenge accepted, Little El. Better start preparing to lose, because there's no question here of who's going to win."
With that, Georgie turned and walked in the other direction, her heels clicking loudly as she almost strutted away. This, she thought, was going to be easy. And bringing Elena Haworth down a few steps off her high horse? Definitely worth it.
