Leander stood in a stunned silence for a while. As a date of sorts? What did that mean? Did he... like her? Like her? That was... crazy and more than just a little bit hard to get her head around. But before she could even begin to think her body was already reacting without her conscious though and she felt herself nodding her head.
A date of sorts... What was the difference between an 'of sorts' date and an actual date? She'd never been asked out before. She'd never been on a date before. But, why now? And why Stefan? Not that she had anything to complain about - he was gorgeous. He completely stole her thoughts away and left her swimming in a dizzy pool of awe and blind fascination.
But she really didn't know anything about him. She mentally shook her head. Wasn't that the point of dates? To learn those things about the people you don't know?
Wow... her mind was almost numb with the rush of things that had just raced through it. A date. With Stefan. At Halloween. Of sorts.
Finally she spoke again and nodded again with a little more enthusiasm. "Okay. Of sorts."
Her stomach clenched and spun into butterflies. Though whether they were happy butterflies or worried/anxious ones she wasn't sure. She was almost betting on a mix of both.
Now, what was she wearing for Halloween?

Stefan felt a smile spread over his handsome face as he watched this girl in front of him nod her head in response to his question of a date. He waited though for her to vocalize her acceptance, and as he expected, it seemed to take her just that little bit longer to finally open her mouth and talk, the action only making his grin widen, seeing the enthusiasm in her nod. He could see a thousand different thoughts racing through her head by simply looking into her eyes.
"Oh this is definitely a date, date..." he told her, not feeling the need to call it anything else other than what it was. He lifted a hand and let his fingers, gently brush away her hair from her face before sliding softly down her cheek, then her neck, then skirting over her shoulder and down her arm before linking his fingers through her dainty ones. Finding himself somewhat amazed when he finally took a moment to acknowledge how much smaller her hands felt in his much larger ones...in a way it was a perfect fit.
Quickly though he shook that thought from his head, and smiled down at Leander, "We'll meet in the Great Hall then love..." he told her, before taking a step back and gently tugging her with him, now that he'd managed to get what he wanted there was no desire to stick around in the forest. Though right now he was probably the most dangerous thing in here, he had no need to stick around and find out. "Lets get out of here...I have a few things I need to attend to..." he told her, only half lying. He took another step back before turning, and beginning his walk back through the trees into the light.

"Oh..." A proper date? Leander didn't even have the time to let the words sink in before his fingers were moving over her face, her neck, her arms. She could swear that she didn't breathe once the whole time.
Her eyes were glued to Stefan as she watched his eyes follow the path that his hands had taken and suddenly feeling somewhat self conscious What did he see in her?
Again, she didn't have a chance to dwell on it because the smile he sent her way sent her dizzy and her world spinning. She'd never felt this way... what was going on?
She nodded her head again, unsure what words she could find to use. The Great Hall... already she wondered what he'd be wearing and how she'd find him, but she didn't ask. When he started back towards the edge of the forest she let out a small sigh of relief, glad to be leaving the place. Not that she'd needed to worry though, no harm had come to her while she'd been in there. She should never have let those thoughts through her mind. Stefan wasn't going to hurt her, or so she believed... But what was it that she'd seen on his wrist?
