Most of the school were over at the Quidditch pitch for their stupid Quidditch night thing, but Georgie had absolutely no interest in being involved in that. She had other things on her mind.
It had been easy enough for her to convince the Hufflepuff boy into the forest, and now she just needed to get his pretty little girl friend over here. All it would take was another perfectly placed illusion charm and the girl would be straight over here when she saw pretty boy standing at the edge of the woods, beckoning her over. Of course, pretty boy would actually be a little further in the wood and all tied up at that time, but that wasn't something that blondie needed to know.
Georgina had picked a stop in the forest that had a little clearing next to the lake. It was shielded from sight by low hanging branches, but she really didn't think that was going to be a problem tonight. The fact that so many people were over at the Quidditch pitch meant that there was so much noise her screams wouldn't even be heard tonight.
Georgie was going to have fun with this. She was determined to leave this school with a bang, and tonight was the night. Now, all she had to do was wait for the Gryffindor to arrive.

Emily pulled her jacket on and left the Gryffindor common room. Half the school were already down there and she was hoping that after she met Chase they could head over there as well. Should be fun, which made her wonder what in the world her boy-friend wanted, usually something like this was right up his alley. Running her fingers through her hair she stepped outside into the fresh air, her eyes drifting upwards. The sky had darkened and she wrapped her jacket tighter still around.
For a moment she remained on the steps, her eyes drifting to the quidditch pitch in longing before she began making her way to the forest. There was a sense of unease in her stomach, something making her feel horrid. Emily simply put it down to what had happened last year, the attack in the forest. It still haunted her even today which made her all the more confused as to why her boy-friend would suggest this place as a meeting place. Pausing she narrowed her eyes and looked towards the forest.
There he was, Chase, on the forest edge waving her over. Smiling brightly at the mere sight of her boy-friend, Emily returned the wave and began making her way closer to him, quickening her steps all that much more, eager to get close to him. Again she hated being out at night, especially here.

Georgina waited until she saw the Gryffindor on the way over, before she started moving slowly backwards into the trees. She knew the girl would follow, regardless of how she felt about the woods. Going slowly, Georgie waited until she knew she'd been seen before she moved further and further into the woods to where she needed to be next to the lake.
When she got here, blondie wouldn't be able to see the Hufflepuff. He was tied to a tree well in the shadows, with some extra charms around him to deepen those shadows. He was currently unconscious at the moment too, but he should be waking soon enough.
Stopped next to the lake, Georgie turned her back, pulling her wand out and holding it just in front of her until she heard blondie right behind her. It was only then that she let the illusion charm fade off, revealing herself. Before the girl had time to react, Georgie spun around. "Petrificus totalus!"
This was too easy. Georgie smirked, looking down at where the frozen girl had fell. "Mudbloods at my feet... Exactly where they belong."

Emily quickened her pace to meet Chase though no sooner had she almost reached him than he stepped back into the forest. Frowning her steps faltered and that sense of unease washed over her again as she glanced at the forest. That night flashed to the front of her mind and it was only after forcing her eyes closed and taking a breath was she able to quell her nerves. Opening her eyes she looked and saw Chase still and moved towards him, groaning as he continued to move deeper into the woods the closer she got to him. At the forest edge she hesitated again but not for long and pushed through after her boyfriend. "Chase come on this isn't funny anymore..." she called after a minute, her voice echoing in the darkness.
When he finally stopped he was beside a lake and Emily smiled softly, wondering what he had planned, though as soon as she drew up behind him than everything changed. Emily sucked in a breath, her eyes widening with horror but before she could react anymore a wand was pointed at her and her entire body went rigid under the familiar spell. Emily fell back and hit the cool mossy ground beneath her, but couldn't react at all. All she could do was stare up in horror at the person above her.
This couldn't be happening. Not again. Not here. Emily felt like an idiot for following Chase...or who she'd thought was Chase. There was no way he'd lead her in here, especially like this, he knew how that night still plagued her every waking moment. Though why was it Georgina Parkinson above her, she'd had no interaction with the seventh year. The girl was smirking, and talking but still Emily couldn't react, she had yet to completely master wandless magic, it took immense concentration and right now most of her focus was on this girl, wondering if this was where she was going to die. Was this finally it?

"Aww, Sweetheart. I haven't even started yet are you already stink of fear." Georgie crouched down beside the frozen girl and searched for her wand, taking it from her and turning it between her fingers for a moment. "The wand chooses the wizard, they say... They never mention how unloyal a wand can be though, do they?" Georgie pocketed her own wand, keeping the Gryffindor's in her hand.
Geogie used her foot to push the girl over onto her stomach so that she was face down on the ground, then reached down to pull her arms behind her back. She already knew that moving the limbs of someone in a body bind of any kind hurt like a B*tch, but she really didn't care about that at all. All the more fun for her. Surely it was nicer of her to build up to the pain slowly, wasn't it?
"Incarcerous!" Ropes shot from the end of blondies wand and wrapped tightly around her wrists and part way up her forearms, binding her arms tightly behind her back giving her no room to move. "Oh sweetie, does that hurt you? Poor diddums." She used her boot again to push her back onto her back again and stood, towering over her, a slow, sadistic smirk creeping over her face.
"One last thing, Honey." Georgina crouched down and held the wand in front of the girls face, just inches away, hovering for a second before she actually cast her next spell. "Muffliato." She watched as something hazy shot from the wand and then seemed to vanish into the girl on the ground. "If you know anything about magic, Mudblood, you'll know that's not the proper way to use that spell. However, it will work. Scream as much as you wish and no one will hear you." The spell wouldn't silence her. Georgie wanted to hear her suffering. It was just enough that the most of it wouldn't carry. It wouldnt be so shrill, more bassy.
"Finite." The body bind came lose. "So sweetheart... do you want to play a little game with me?"

Emily tried to struggle even though it was useless and she didn't move even a little bit as Georgina dug through her pockets for her wand. Her eyes watered, without her wand on her she was useless, at least with it in her hand she had some possibility of tapping into the wand-less magic she'd been practicing, but now. All she could do was stare up at the girl as she spoke, willing, praying for anyone to show up but something told her that wasn't going to happen, that things were set to get a lot worse before they even came close to getting better. Her eyes widened a fraction as Georgina retrieved her want before using her foot to kick Emily over onto her stomach, her face buried in the dirt.
Almost instantly she felt the panic inside her surge to new heights when she realized that with her face in the ground like this she couldn't breath. Closing her eyes tightly she tried to remain calm, though tears filled behind her eyes as her arms were so roughly dragged behind her back. The pain she felt was extreme as her frozen body protested against the movement. Ropes were tied around her wrists as Georgina yelled a spell and even if there was no body bind, Emily knew there was no way she was escaping those binds. They were tight, no, there was no way she'd get out of them without help, and with the situation as it was there was none of that coming.
A sound of protest came from her throat as Georgina spoke again, was she really mocking her as well. Sadistic b***h! Again she was rolled over onto her back and she felt a rush of air flood her lungs and the burning cease. Emily stared up into the face of Georgina, her heart thundering wildly inside her chest as she began to imagine what the Slytherin had planned. Of course she'd only ever heard rumors, but Georgina, at least according to gossip was pure evil.
"One last thing, Honey. Muffliato."
Emily saw the misty haze and she felt the coolness of the spell, cast by her own wand as it locked hold of her vocal cords. Betrayed by her own wand. It hadn't been cast correctly though and that worried her, just what was Georgina planning. The body bind was lifted and Emily tried to move, but with her binds as tight as they were she could only push herself up a fraction, doing what she could to shuffle back away from Georgina but not getting even a small bit away. Her eyes were locked onto the seventh year, and she blinked, trying to force away the tears that had spilled. She was trying to be calm, to not give Georgina what she wanted, but the truth was she was terrified, it was like a nightmare, like another nightmare she'd foolishly stepped into and she couldn't escape.
"Please...just...please let me go..." she pleaded, though it came out not nearly as loud as it should have. Again her eyes locked onto Georgina and she shook her head as she looked around quickly, searching for any means of escape...as useless as it would be to even try and escape...

Georgina lifted the body bind spell and stepped back, waiting to see what the 5th year would try and do first. As expected, the girl tried to push herself upwards and tried to move away. "That's it, Sweetheart. Test those pretty little bonds for me. Just check they work."
"Please...just...please let me go..."
Georgie let out a cold cackle as she stepped closer to the girl, crouching down in front of her and swinging her wand about in front of her carelessly. "Have I mentioned yet? Your fear stinks." With that she pushed back to her feet, aiming the wand down at blondie again, contemplating what to do first. "Huh...choices, choices... I have so many to choose from. You only have one to make, hunny."
She grabbed a hand full of blond hair and pulled roughly till the girl lifted from the ground. Georgie didn't let loose on her grip until the 5th years' knees were on the ground and she was kneeling and looking in the direction she wanted her to be. "Look over there. In those shadows. There's your choice. Choose wisely." She pointed the wand and muttered finite, letting the magically enhanced shadows fall away from the Hufflepuff boy.

Georgina's cold cackle ceased all movement from Emily. The blonde stared up at the Slytherin and there was no questioning, she was not only in trouble, she was in it deep. Something in the back of her mind told her this was set to get a whole lot worse and not even close to better. As the other girl crouched in front of her, swinging Emily's want in front of her, the blonde stared at her. Scared to look away in case, well in case she did and she ended up dead. Not even the mocking of how scared she was could force her to look away, maybe she was scared but really, how was she not supposed to be terrified.
Shaking her head at Georgina's comments about choices Emily, spoke, "What do you from me Georgina...we've never spoken..." she forced herself to ask. Bellatrix she half expected something like this from but Georgina, they'd never even spoken. So why now? Though she got no answer to her question, well unless you count Georgina roughly dragging her up onto her knees by her hair. Emily bit down on her lip, forcing herself not to cry out from the pain that erupted in her scalp, any harder and she was sure Georgina would gladly pull her hair out.
With some awkward maneuvering Emily got onto her knees, and she sighed in somewhat relief as Georgina's grip on her hair loosened, though not by much. "Just what..." swallowing the lump in her throat Emily let Georgina interrupt her and felt a cold dread settle in her stomach when it was made clear there was something the Slytherin wanted her to see. "Choice, what choice...I don't under...." Emily trailed off as the cold dread in her stomach encompassed her entire being, and fear gripped tight hold around her heart. "Chase...?"
There he was. Chase. Her Chase. Now she could see him, he wasn't conscious and her eyes watered, tears she'd held in spilling over her cheeks and she made to struggle to stand up. "What the hell do you want? We haven't done anything let him go!" she exclaimed, hoping he was alive. No. She had to believe he was alive, she couldn't lose him, "Please...what...just let him go."

Georgina hummed and pretended to think. "What have you done... well... how about exist, Mudblood?" She laughed softly and looked down at the girl. "I don't need a reason, sweetheart. I just need to have fun." She pulled the girl to her knees.
It was impossible to miss the way blondie reacted to the sight of the hufflepuff tired up across the small clearing, and she could see the change in the girl almost instantly. Again, Georgie hummed. "Lover boy, am I right? Though after all the pain you caused, I'm surprised he wanted you back at all." Georgie was pretty sure that the boy hadn't told this 5th year of the rumors that had been going around, but seeing as Georgina had heard all the whispers before it happened, she knew exactly what had caused it.
She tightened her grip on the girl's hair again. "Now, now, sweetie. Watch your language. Surely your muggle scum mother has told you the age old line of 'don't use that tone with me'? Well you don't use that tone with me either."
Georgina flung the girl back down to the ground and stepped closer, staring down at her. "Haven't done anything? You've been a very, very bad girl indeed." She looked across to where the Hufflepuff was still unconscious. "Poor daddy... and guess who's to blame?" Georgie didn't really care about that, but she wanted to cause as much drama and pain as she could, and that meant she needed to add in the emotional pain along with the physical, and she knew this was exactly the way to do it.
"I think a little punishment for your naughty ways is in order, don't you agree, darling? Crucio!" Georgina's smirk quickly transformed into a much colder, crueler laugh.

There was no denying Georgina's words stung, but Emily refused to focus on them right now. Chase was here, he was unconscious, he had to be her focus here she had to get out of this, get away from Georgina, get her wand back and find out if he was okay. The mere thought that he was hurt sent a searing shooting pain throughout her entire body. Shaking her head Emily forced herself to take a breath. No Chase would be okay. They just had to get out of here, get back to the school together and they'd both be fine, he'd be fine. Emily kept her eyes glued onto him, willing him to wake up just so she knew he was okay.
Though what Georgina said made her stop for a moment and look at the seventh year briefly. "Pain what pain...?" she gasped loudly as Georgina's grip on her hair tightened again, forcing Emily to bite down on her lip to stop from crying out. She glared up at the brunette at the mention of her Mother and tugged on her restraints uselessly. She hit the ground painfully when Georgina shoved her back down, and she gasped again, rolling over onto her back as Georgina stood over her. What the hell was the psychotic witch on about? "Your insane...what the hell are you talking about....?" she asked, cutting off when Georgina proceeded, her blood running cold with every word.
Her eyes widened and she stared up at Georgina disbelievingly, it couldn't be true. No, Georgina was messing with her. Why would it be her fault that Rio was dead....? Though no sooner had that question flew through her mind, Emily knew the reason. The very same reason she was laying here now, for a second time cold and scared on the forest floor. The very same reason she was put down in school, like so many other Muggle Borns...she was a Mudblood. Tears spilled from her eyes as her whole body was overcome with a huge wave of guilt, "It's not true, your lying...Chase would've said...your lying..."
"I think a little punishment for your naughty ways is in order, don't you agree, darling? Crucio!
Her words didn't register in Emily's head as she was so overcome with pain and guilt over Rio. Though when the curse hit her, by God she knew about it. Screaming out, her body went rigid, arching off the forest floor. Again, she was rendered useless, unable to fight off the curse. It was as if fire raged through her veins, and at the same time knifes pierced every inch of her skin, paralyzing her. "Stop....please...please!" blood poured from her lip from where she'd bit down to try and stem the screaming, her head and heart pounded an insane rhythm as tears streamed over her cheeks, "Chase...please help...!"

The moment that realization dawned on the Gryffindor's face was one that was impossible to miss. With recognition came tears. And with tears, came the pathetic denials. It's too late for your tears pumpkin. You've already killed a man." This was all made so much more amusing for Georgie with the fact that this girl had no clue at all about any of this to begin with; she'd just thought that everything was all back to normal again now that lover boy was back in school. But that really wasn't the case at all.
There hadn't been a whole many times when Georgina had been able to cast the cruciatus curse on someone, but it was without a doubt one of her favorite spells of all time. It was an incredible feeling - that rush of pure power that flooded you and threatened to overwhelm you. It was pure bliss, and Georgie thrived off it.
She watched as the girl writhed on the forest floor, arching and twisting under the curse, biting hard enough to draw blood in an effort to stop herself screaming. Even still, with the silencing charm cast over her, her screams were muffled and distorted to hear. After only a few moments she let the curse drop, laughing coldly at the girls begging. "Begging now, are we? I knew you were pathetic but I thought you would have lasted longer than that." A noise caught her attention and she looked up. "Ah, look who's stirring. Perhaps a little wake up call is in order, what do you think?" She smirked down at the 5th year, wand raised, waiting for the response from her at her latest threat.

Emily felt the skin break as she bit down onto her lip, attempting in some way to stifle her screams, not wanting to give Georgina the satisfaction. She closed her eyes, squeezing them closed, fighting her screams but unable to fight the tears streaming down over her cheeks now, but she didn't care. As her body seized from pain, she heard Georgina's cold, cruel laughter and wanted nothing more than to lash out at the Slytherin, or more than that for the pain to stop already, sure she couldn't take anymore. It was worse than last time, it hadn't lasted this long, or it had but there'd been pauses, moments when it had stopped and she'd been able to breath.
No sooner had that thought crossed her mind though then it stopped, her spine straightened and she collapsed back onto the forest floor, her body giving mini convulsions, the pain still raging like a fire through her veins. Her muscles had contracted and now throbbed painfully. Georgina's words caught her attention though and reluctantly, using what little strength she had she turned her head to the side. Her eyes flickered from Georgina to Chase who was stirring and her eyes widened a fraction out of worry and panic before turning back to Georgina, a flicker of fire sparking to life behind them. "Leave him alone..." she said, her voice hoarse, it pained her to talk and she swallowed with a wince, her throat feeling like she'd swallowed nails.
With a little maneuvering she pushed herself up into a seated position and she shook her head again, "This has nothing to do with him...I'm the mudblood...leave him alone he's been through enough!" she exclaimed, her body giving slight tremors, fear, worry, guilt over Rio encompassing every fiber of who she was. How could Chase not have told her...or better yet how could he stand to be near her?

Even after being under the cruciatus curse, the Gryffindor somehow still managed to speak, and then, only moments later, push herself up into a seating position. Georgie had to admit, she was slightly impressed. She remembered one guy who was only under the curse for about two seconds and he'd screamed like a baby during it, continued to scream and whimper afterwards, and basically been completely useless and unable to move for half an hour afterwards, just curled up in the fetal position whimpering. Pathetic, basically. But this girl? She clearly had some strength inside of her after all.
"This has nothing to do with him...I'm the mudblood...leave him alone he's been through enough!"
Georgie smirked. "Well at least you know your place, but really, why shouldn't he be punished? He's the fool for ever thinking that he could be with scum like you and not face the consequences." Georgie straightened, smirking down at the Gryffindor, her pleas falling on deaf ears in that moment. "Hmm... Crucio!" She kept her wand trained on the Hufflepuff for only a second before dropping the spell, her laughter staining the night.

Post by Chase Connors on Nov 10, 2012 22:17:26 GMT
It felt as if something was trying to get his attention - to drag him out of slumber. It was like something was grabbing him and pulling him forcefully and painfully out of the darkness that had been surrounding him, and forcing him to wake up.
There was a sound of some sort, but he could quite make it out. Were there... voices? There were definitely voices - it sounded like just two people though, and he had to wonder who the were. One of them sounded familiar. One of them sounded very, very familiar. Chase tried to focus on that one voice. Was it Emily?
What was Em doing in his room? Not that he was complaining at all, but if Em was in his room, then why did she sound so far away? And who was she talking to over there? She should be in bed with him not on the other side of the room... Speaking on his bed, why did his wrists feel so heavy and numb. It sort of felt like there was something on them. Oh, he got it now. Kinky, hmm.
But... those voices... the didn't sound so... you know. Why did it sound like something was wrong? What if Emily had been caught sneaking in? that 7th year prefect girl was a B*tch beyond measure, so it was probably her sticking her nose in where it didn't belong... He should probably wake up and tell her to get her sneck out of their business, but sleep seemed so much better right now.
What? Something just did seem right- was she screaming? Emily? Screaming? Here? What?
Chase stirred but it felt as if something, some weight, was pressing down on him, making it difficult for him to wake up properly. And then it stopped. The screaming. Maybe it had all just been in his head. But it hadn't been, and he needed to get up. He needed to see what was happening. Was Emily okay? What was that smell? He didn't think he was in his dorm at all, so what the hell was going on?
Pain. Oh holy Sh*t the pain! It felt as if his whole body had gone into excruciating cramp all at the same time - like every muscle has chosen that moment to seize. Chase was sure a scream tore from his throat, but he wasn't quite sure, his mind was too blinded by the pain to allow his ears to work and process sound at all.
Then, as soon as it started, it stopped, and Chase could feel the darkness threatening again. But he had... to... fight... it...

Emily's body convulsed slightly, continuing to tremble unable to stand the sheer amount of pain she was still in. The curse had been lifted but her body felt incredibly weak and in agony. It was taking every ounce of strength she had not to simply collapse but Chase...she couldn't let Georgina hurt him. Not after...not after she'd been the reason his Dad was dead, she wouldn't be the reason he got hurt or worse. No she shook her head, the thought sickening her, he'd be fine and she wasn't going to allow Georgina to see her weak, she wouldn't break so easily. "Leave alone...please...I don't care what you do me...kill me just leave him!" she screamed at Georgie when she threw the cruciatus curse at Chase. It lasted only a second but Emily felt her heart shattering.
Watching Chase wearily she shook her head, unable to wipe the tears on her cheeks as she turned to Georgina again. Chase was stirring but he had yet to wake up and part of her dreaded the moment he did. Hearing his scream cut into her deep and a sob escaped her lips, that would haunt her, as would the guilt of knowing that what she was, was what caused him to lose his Father. Why would he not tell her, why hadn't he just left her, it's what he should have done. "Just stop...okay...whatever your going to do to me do it..." she said tiredly, shaking her head and looking down, tears falling over her cheeks as she looked back towards Chase.
When she thought back on how they started it made her smile, they were complete opposites, they never should have worked, but that's what made them work in a way. Chase brought out a side of her she hadn't even been aware existed and in return, it had been her fault his Dad was dead...how could he, April, or little Risa forgive her. She hated herself right now.
