Yes, my best friend, fellow marauder has taken to making a diary, though I guess you couldn't really call it a diary, the dirty dog instead is simply filling a book full of his conquests over the last few years. Pretty inspired the more I think of it, it's one way to keep track of them all right, God knows the way we appear to be getting around we need it. So here we go, I'm making my own book of....shall we call them conquests...notches sounds too crude....
I'm a teenage guy, with raging hormones, I'm surrounded by a hundreds of stunning girls, so really can you blame me for taking advantage of that? One could say I began noticing the ladies at a pretty young age, and I guess that's true but my interests were always more centered on causing trouble with my friends, fellow marauders and boy are there a few stories I could tell you there. In fact, you know what, I'll include a few of them here as well, for future reference of course...after all when I'm long gone from this place there needs to be a reference that Sirius Black once attended Hogwarts. Left my mark so to speak, and who knows this may be an inspiration to some devishely handsome Gryffindor another few years down the line...no wait, it will be an inspiration.
After all they're going to need some kind of guide on how to live their lives here at the school aren't they and I will be their teacher, their role model. I am pretty awesome, even if I do say so myself....do I have an ego...maybe, but what you gonna do? Ya either love me or you hate me...but trust me, I'm not someone you want to get on the wrong side of, so come on show me some love.
Future Generations, please enjoy what I am about to share with you. Not only my experiences but you alone get to see just how awesome life here can be, if you do it right. There ain't no room for being one of those goodie goodie idiots, trust me, life is so much better when you say piss off to the rules, trust me...
The legend of the Marauders will live on long after me and the others have left....
...but the legend of Sirius Black will live on forever, just you wait and see! |

So you'll have to settle for here, I guess because third and fourth year is where things became interesting for me. Third year was a transitional period I suppose, hitting puberty, realizing how much you were hated by your own family, coupled with these intense rush of hormones, all equaled up to a dangerous amount. Though at that age I only had one outlet, aside from pranking Slytherins for the heck of it, and it was Quidditch.
Best game in the world, I dare you to argue. The best thing about Quidditch, I was bloody brilliant at it. Together James and I on the team, deadly combination and our favorite games always included the times we got to take on those bastard Slytherin's, God knows they had each and every prank and knock from their broom coming, again, I dare you to argue otherwise. So yeah to the matter at hand, Quidditch, I loved it but there was a time in third year I feared the chance to play had been taken away from me, and it pains me to say it was my own fault but Snape had it coming.
Yeah Snape, the greasy haired Slytherin who I've hated since that first trip on the train. Lets say the pointy nosed git provoked me just before a game, and by provoke I mean he had the nerve to take a swing at me, my poor excuse for a family and more importantly my friends. So I punched him, hard and the dosy git cracked his head on the stairs leading to the locker rooms. I may have had to miss the game that day but it was worth it now I think back on it. It was only after a month long set of detentions, a lot of pleading and a little prodding from James that McGonagall even lifted the ban.
Quidditch was fantastic, even better when you got to thrash the Slytherin's and claim it was all in the interest of winning the game. Suffice to say Gryffindor won the cup that year, and it was also the year I noticed Prongs begin to take an unusual interest in the red head, Evans. Can't say I was a fan myself, girl walked around with an aura of making out she was better than the rest of us and to make matters worse she hung around with Snape. Then again what did I care, back then I'd been under the illusion my best friend would snap out of it and move on....that however is for a later entry... |

For years all I'd been interested in was Quidditch, my friends and pranking, as well as breaking any rule we could. Girls were...well to put it politely annoying as hell, a distraction I really didn't want. Though thanks to Quidditch, I seemed to have developed a little bit of a following, not that I ever really encouraged them. Though who could blame them, at the risk of sounding big headed, I was awesome at Quidditch, who wouldn't wanna support me?
To my disappointment, it seemed that out of the two of us, I was the only one still not bothered by girls. James, my best-friend, fellow Marauder had taken to bragging about finally kissing a girl. It was as though the experience made him an expert at all things involving girls, he suddenly new everything about them and had taken to telling me that, "one day it'll happen mate" in that extremely condescending way of his. Well for those of you who know me, you know there was no way I could let it carry on like that and despite not really wanting to, or being interested in girls at that age I made it my mission to finally kiss one of them.
Enter Esther Tonkin, a girl who was one year older than me and in her fourth year. A Ravenclaw, so a pretty smart chick in other words. I didn't set out to get her, it was just something that kind of happened on it's own. I'd ditched James, headed out after hours to wander the castle, looking for anything in the form of entertainment and that's when I spotted her. Esther seemed to have had the same idea, and to my surprise turned out to be quie the rebel. In fact she beat me to the punch when we ran into each other, and pranked Filch, before taking my hand and pulling me along with her.
I was shocked bu intrigued so I went willingly, laughing as Filch's cries of protest echoed up the hall after us. Esther pulled us into a broom closet, locking the door behind us and signalling for me to be quiet. Well she didn't need to tell me twice after all I was a marauder, this was a daily thing for me, hiding from the Professors. Filch wandered past the cupboard, cursing and using every ugly word he could think of and as his voice faded I finally refocused on the Ravenclaw, only to suddenly find myself pushed against the shelves, her lips quickly claiming my own.
Now I'd like to say it was awkward, well for a second it was. I stood there like a kissing virgin unsure of what to do, my eyes wide and she pulled back smiling. Without thinking though I kissed her again, having enjoyed the feeling and we quickly fell into a rhythm, I guess it helped that she had a little more experience in this field than me. It was a rush, well.....right up until the point the door swung open causing us to jump apart only to meet the rather disgruntled and annoyed face of McGonagall...
Suffice to say it was a detention I was only too willing to serve...lets just say James wasn't the only one who now had bragging rights in our little group. |

A sneaky make out session with Esther in the broom closet to spark my interest in girls. In a way it started the game, it opened my eyes to there being more to life than pranking and Quidditch, and I began to see that there were an insane amount of benefits to being on the Quidditch team. I began looking at that little following of mine in a whole new light. So lets just say I did enjoy encouraging their attention, I thrived on it, it became like a drug to me and I now knew what I'd been missing out on. I was a teenage boy, with hormones to boot and I was going to enjoy every single second of it.
Enter Mary Macdonald, a Seeker on our team, a Gryffindor and an extreme hottie. Though before Esther I never would have seen Mary as more than one of the guys, but after that day, after my eyes were opened to the magic of women I found myself insanely attracted to Mary and didn't bother to hide my interest. I made no secret that I fancied her, and to my surprise, Mary didn't seem to mind. We were similar in a lot of ways, personality wise mainly which made my interest all the more stronger.
We went out, and it wasn't one of those poncy dates down in Hogsmeade nah, we snuck out to the Quidditch after hours, played a game, before cuddling up in the stands. Now let me tell you this, that girl can kiss I'd say she was even better than Esther. Of course I didn't have a tonne of experience but I knew Mary was going to be one that was hard to beat. The girl was a firecracker that was for damned sure and to make things even better we began going out, but there was no insane pressure with her, she wasn't one of those typical, clingy girls.
That said, the relationship was brief, few months it lasted before we just decided to call it quits and be friends. We worked better that way I guess. Best thing was...there was no awkwardness afterwards, in fact it was easy, simple and we were back to being just our normal selves. Of course that wasn't the last of it...please...even I could see we had wicked chemistry and even though we weren't dating, didn't mean we didn't have a little make out sesh every now and then, but then, that's for a later entry... |

I would have much rather spent summer held up in Hogwarts, even if it meant being alone, anything was better than returning back to the place I was cursed to call home. Several weeks spent surrounded by people who got kicks out of telling me how much of a disappointment I was, that I was a traitor and I could never live up to the Black namesake. My deranged Mother was the worst, I hated the lot of them but you know, as much as a hated it they were my family and I had no where else to go, so I just had to sit it out.
That didn't mean I didn't take the opportunity to escape when and where I could. James's parents were always welcoming, letting me crash there on the occasional nights, but to save them the wrath of my family I didn't stay over too much, despite James's insistence that his parents didn't care. The last thing he wanted was to put them out more than they already than I had. I crashed there, the Leaky Cauldron and home.
It was on one night away from home that I stumbled upon the third girl to make it into this book and let me tell you this, this girl wasn't someone I was going to forget in a hurry. It was four days before my return to Hogwarts and I was restless so I left the house and went to find some kind of entertainment. I found it in a boat load I can tell you that now. Her name was Amber Marks, a Muggle girl and we met not 10 minutes away from my house.
Amber was different, and not just in the sense that she wasn't magical, no she was just a force of nature, something I'd never before experienced. We'd collided rounding the corner of one of the streets, and to my utter surprise, instead of heading on her way she insisted I go with her, giving me no other option really as she took my hand and began leading me towards the woods. Now any normal person, considering things being like they were in both worlds, would have protested but I found I couldn't, again I was intrigued and I wanted to see what happened here, so I let her lead me away.
We ended up at a party, in the dead center of the woods. It wasn't an insanely large group of people but that didn't matter, the atmosphere was addictive and it didn't take a genius to know they were a good couple years older than me, but neither them or I cared. A bonfire raged on as the music played, and against my better judgement I let Amber pull me into some dancing. I found I was unable to deny her. So we partied, hard, and let me just say I forgot everything I'd previously thought about Muggles that night, they knew how to party that was for damn sure.
Their music...yes well that was incredible, definitely not something I could blare back home but I stored away the names of the bands and such for future reference. You know for when I was in the mood to piss off the parentals. Anyway back to the matter at hand, Amber. We partied well into the morning, in fact I think the only reason we stopped was because someone announced the police were on their way. So we all scattered, everyone, literally running in every direction possible.
Amber and I, well, we ran right back to the place we'd met before she announced she had to go but not before one mind blowing kiss and I mean, mind blowing. The girl ha piercings in her lip tongue and yeah, I figured it may feel a bit weird kissing her but man it was intense. Though she broke it way to soon, sending me a flirty wink, slipping her ring into my hand and skipping away back down the street leaving me gobsmacked in the middle of morning rush in London...
Third kiss, and well it was incredible. Something told me back then though it wasn't the last I'd be seeing of Amber....and I sure couldn't wait to run into her again...
