PERSONALITY: anything that you didn't get down before. what is your character really Liander is just a normal guy who is friendly but shy, kind but quiet. He has a few close friends who he trusts with his secrets, and other friends who don't know him as well as they think they do. He doesn't like to tell anyone that he is gay unless he knows for certain that they won't freak out and refuse to speak to him again. He's especially cautious of telling guy friends.

Although quiet, he'll talk to pretty much anyone who wants to talk to him, though he's not the type to head large groups, and tends to shrink into the shadows a bit. He doesn't like being the center of attention but if there's a cause he truly believes in he will speak up, and due to his usually quiet nature, it usually catches people's attention when he does.

He tends to bottle up his own feelings and emotions and not tell anyone the things that are playing on his mind. They usually have to ask persistently for him to open up about things. Some don't understand how he can be so 'emotionally connected' yet be so reluctant to reveal his own.

Generally, Liander takes some pride in his own appearance and always looks neat and tiny, and he feels self conscious when he's looking in any way scruffy or less than how he usually does. He's pretty laid back and average, and he isn't bothered about expensive clothes or designer labels. He doesn't try to stand out and chooses comfort over fashion any day.

HISTORY:Liander was one of six children growing up, and his parents spent a lot of their time working. The six of them spent a lot of time with a nanny while they were growing up, and Liander never felt that he knew his parents as well as he should have. His father spent most of his time with his oldest son as he was the one who would be continuing on the family name, while his mother doted on the youngest children - the youngest brother and the twin girls. Liander and his older sister were left out compared to the other 4, and always had the closest bond.

When Liander started school he was placed into Hufflepuff and his parents were less than pleased with him, which only put more strain on their relationship. In his first year he quickly discovered his cousin, Fina, who was in the same year and house as him and they quickly became friends. He met his other cousins over the years he was at school and while he got along with them all, he got along with Fina most. Not only because they were the same age, but because they were in the same house - the two of them broke the family rule of Ravenclaw's and were like the outcasts of the family.

When Liander finally accepted to himself that he was gay, the first two people he told were Fina and his older sister. His older sister was more alike their parents that he thought and they rarely spoke after that as his sister wasn't willing to accept that side of him. At that point he decided that he needed to keep quiet to his family and he knew that none of the rest of them could know. Even with his cousins he was weary of mentioning it to them. The only good that was that the truth made no difference in his friendship with Fina, which Liander is still grateful for.
