Bright green almond-shaped eyes look around the crowd. Immediately you’re drawn to them, unable to look away. With those green depths, Alecto demands her attention whenever she steps into a room, letting it appear that she’s all innocent. But don’t let them fool you, though you can sink into them, she isn’t as innocent as she seems to be…
On the other hand her eyes soften a lot when she sees her brother. Her twin is her number one and the only one who has truly seen her softer side. Others might get away with an evil glance every once in a while…

HAIR COLOUR:
Lecto’s dark hair shines brightly in the silver moonlight whenever she goes out at night. It’s grown over her shoulder and most of the times it’s just plain straight… However, one time that was different. When she was a little child, her hair always curled up and down her shoulders, though she finally found the perfect balance between straight and wavy. Normally this young girl just lets her hair down, guys staring after her because it’s always so well tended. Every once in a while though, she puts it in an updo, or when she goes running, she puts it in a ponytail to keep it from getting into her eyes. Oh yes, and don’t forget it, don’t ever touch her hair or she’ll kill you if it’s out of place!

APPEARANCE:Alecto's looks stand out to say the least. She's tall, beautiful and well.. Drop dead gorgeous if you ask me. In contrary to her family's stocky build, she has remained quite slender - What she doesn't know, of course, is that the women in her family all became stocky and thickish after their thirties, so she only has a few nice years to go before her body'll change drastically... - She has a small birthmark upon her innertights. To her, it looks like a heart. Also, she's crazy about tattoos. Right now she's thinking about having one upon her wrists, but well... you know how parents are...

She is very confident about her body, her nose however is something she utterly detests. Many times she has tried to charm it, but always with failure, having to go back to her ‘true’ nose instead of the charmed ones.

Feet though are also a thing the young Carrow hugely detests. Her own are quite okay, but just the sight of bare naked feet scare her to death, they’re just gross..

PERSONALITY: Alecto Carrow had always been one of the 'nicer' slytherins. She didn't mingle when people had fights, she kept to herself when people were being hurt, despite her sharp tongue. Yet all of that changed after an unfortunate event. The girl turned around one-hundred-and-eighty degrees... She's become less naive and more skilled into picking out fights. She doesn't follow her heart anymore but always thinks about her actions: which consequences will they carry, but mostly, how will it affect her. Her past has hardened her, though, she did have the perfect childhood until her fifth year.. Then some guy had to mess everything up and ruin her idea about love and relationships. Since that moment, something inside her broke. She still has her friends whom she trusts, but men and her will probably never be the same again. As a repayment for what ‘Mr I'm so full of myself’ did, she now sleeps around the castle, not really giving a damn about how old the bloke is, or in which house... Yes, there are moments when she starts to feel again, but in those moments, she flees away, blocking every emotion out of want of her life, because she isn't that dumb... It has to be said that these thoughts are the on her mind most of the time, she's calculated and yes, in some people's eyes cold... Little do they know that most of the time it's just an act. Other than that, Alecto still pretty much is who she used to be, she loves to read, though some people might think she's stupid because she basically never pays attention in class... She does have an open persona, but can only be her true self when running over the lawns at dawn or when flying over the Quidditch Pitch. Sports and books - and her brother- are probably the only thing that really get to her.

HISTORY: The 23rd of March announced the birth of a young and beautiful pureblood woman. Almost exactly three minutes after Amycus, Alecto Melena Carrow was born into a life of luxury. Her parents immediately loved her, just like her brother. Over the years however she and her father became on bad basis, but I’ll tell you later on how that happened.

Now the first few signs of Alecto’s magic were celebrated highly, though everyone knew that she was a witch like the rest of her family. That first signs made it obvious that she was a witch, but also her mother’s daughter who deeply adored the Dark Lord. – Emily almost worshipped him, certainly seeing that she’d been in Hogwarts with Tom Riddle when she was young. Alecto now still thinks that her mother had a huge crush on him - Anyway, she became scared. She was laying in her own bed and a huge fly came over to her, landing upon her sheets and crawling toward her arm. Alecto was terrified and screamed at the top of her lungs. Her mother and father rushed into her room, and just on that same moment, the fly burst apart, leaving nothing but a small bloody mess. Alecto’s fear had caused the fly to burst apart, literally.

At the age of eleven, her parents weren’t surprised that she had been accepted to Howarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Still, they were utterly proud. Even from the first day on, Alecto tried to make her mark in the school. She kept her head high while walking with her brother, cursing anyone who tried to make a fool out of them. Though she was known for her manipulative ways, she did make a lot of friends. But soon enough her first year in Hogwarts was over. Every time she got home, she told her parents the most wonderful stories about her life there… Her parents listened eagerly. Yet when she came back from her fourth year, something happened that would alter her life.

Now you see, Alecto Carrow had always been a nice girl, sweet and innocent, just the way her father liked her. But then, in that summer, at one of her parent’s parties a young guy, 17, just graduated from Hogwarts and Slytherin came up to her, claiming that he had loved her since he had first set his eyes upon her. Alecto was still quite naïve back then and, she believed him. It didn’t take too long for her to skip a few steps of the courting and well, they finally ended up in the bushes at the Carrow Estate. What would have been a great moment, landed up in a total mess. The bloke didn’t have any respect in her whatsoever, and as soon as he was done he got dressed and stepped out of the bushes. Alecto crawled out after him, ashamed of herself that she had been fooled. While buttoning up the last buttons of her blouse, her father came out and immediately comprehended what had happened… or at least a part of it… Since that moment, Alecto was no longer his innocent and sweet girl.

Innocent and sweet, the two words now don’t recall any of Alecto’s characteristics. She has grown to please only herself, letting others see that she’s better than them, just because of that one incident. In the eyes of others, she’s become cold and aggressive. Yet, there’s one person who gets to see glimpses of her old personality, her brother. Still, she strives to do her very best at school for her father, just so he would be that same loving person again… But it is all in vain, their relationship won’t ever become as before.

Alecto Carrow sat outside the ice-cream palor of Florean Fortesque. The warm sun of the late-spring was shining upon her already tanned skin. The outing with Caradoc had done her good, she had entirely recovered from the upsetting words her father had told her, the way he had moved her out of the house, her trunk standing there at the front porch when she had come home from Hogwarts. She had called him up, unable to think of anybody else. During those last months, the once loathing-each other-enemies had turned into the best friends. She now understood why he and the mudblood had been together, why they had parted, and why he was still so upset about it. He on his turn had listened to the stories of her childhood, along with what had happened at that one party with the first guy she had ever liked. They had both changed a lot, he had become darker, more intriguing, while she had learned to be someone’s friend without actually shagging him.

Altogether, it had been a win/win situation. They both got salvation after their trip through the world on his broom. Lucky there were things like ‘shrinking spells’ by which she could take her entire suitcase full of clothes and other useful tools –to her, Caradoc found them rather unnecessary -. And now the trip was on its end, she was here, taking up her residence at the Serpent’s inn as the entrance to her house was granted no longer. Her mother of course, almost died of not seeing her daughter anymore, so she sent her money every week to go round the days without having to work. How very thoughtful of course…

Amycus, she hadn’t seen him ages too. Nobody to be precise. Soon enough school would start again, but for now, she was here on her own. She’d seen every shop in Diagon Alley, every dark store in Knockturn Alley and she had only been here for a week. What she wouldn’t do to get out of here, to go somewhere, like when she’d flown off with Caradoc. Totally impulsive, nothing but a good friendship that could be shared.

She had a sundae in front of her nose, prodding it absent-mindly with the small spoon in her hands, scooping up some fruit and putting it in her mouth. She munched it slowly, taking close to one hundred bites before she finally swallowed it. She needed some entertainment, and some rather good entertainment. Because she was bored as hell after spending this full week here in this cheery place. It was then, when she put another spoon, this time full of vanilla ice cream in her mouth that she saw him. A brown-haired guy. A small smile crawled upon her lips as she recognised him. That one guy who had made her fifth year at Hogwarts so much more enjoyable
