Marly was extremely groggy. So much so that she wasn’t entirely sure if she was awake or asleep. There was really no way for her to tell. Sure enough, she could have pinched herself, but then she got thinking - if she pinched herself, couldn’t she just be pinching herself in a dream? Then wouldn’t she just be...awake/asleep? Oh Merlin no...too much, she thought as she managed to pry her eyes open. Her pupils couldn’t see to adjust to the light - or lack thereof - that surrounded her in the girl’s dormitory. Was it morning? Or late night? Had she slept through all of her classes for the day?
She caught sight of something from the corner of her eye. It looked like someone was moving. And rummaging through her stuff. She managed to sit up ever so slightly and tried to make a noise, but her throat seemed to still be asleep, resulting in a small squeak that was barely audible. The cigs. She remembered that she had left them in her bag after last night. And that was where the figure was digging. Digging into her pockets and invading her personal space.
She managed to throw her covers off of her bed and swung her feet over the edge. Mentally, she was cursing herself for not opting to put on pajamas last night. She had gone to bed in her skivvies it appeared. She struggled to her feet and -
Nope, that wasn’t going to happen. Instead of standing up, Marly felt herself go crashing into the ground. Her body was telling her that she defiantly wasn’t ready to wake up yet. Her eyes tried to look around, but the figure seemed to be gone. Gone completely as if they had vanished into thin air, ”Bloody hell...”
[/b] She managed to say, regaining some control over her voice. She pushed herself up to her knees and coughed a little, trying to keep her breathing steady. Someone had stolen her cigarettes and that someone had disappeared. She was not about to lose all those cancer sticks. Not on her life. She imagined that they couldn’t have gotten very far. And there was only one place for them to go: Down. When she was finally able, she pulled herself to her feet and grabbed her short silk robe that was on top of her bed post. She pulled it on and hurried out the door and descended the staircase toward the common room. It was then that she saw a figure, presumably the same figure that had stollen her bloody cigarettes, ”Stop right there!”[/b] She demanded as she reached the landing. Looking down she realized she was still mostly naked so she pulled her robe tightly against her body and blinked a couple of times, trying to clear some of the sleep that seemed to have settled between her eyelids. She could sort of see the figure now...it looked like a girl. She was pretty sure of that one. A bloody girl had stolen her cigs.[/justify][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ferret slipped back into the common room, looking around as she did so. It was well past midnight and she was concentrating hard to hide the hickeys and bite marks that were scattered across her body. She would wear them proudly, but she didn't want people to see them as she was coming into the common room late at night. It wouldn't be easy to explain what she and her boyfriend were doing while the boy was suppose to be doing his prefect rounds.
Not that he complained when she showed up to "keep him company" leading them to the fourth floor and the Room of Requirement.
As she headed back towards the stairs, leading to the girl's dorm a voice halted her. Looking up, she was an attractive blond. She gulped slightly. Oh, she was so caught. She just prayed she was not a part of Remus's fan club.
"Um...Can I help you with something?" she asked, her voice nervous.

[/b] Marlene said into the darkness and the tip of her wand seemed to light up the entire common room. The light flooded the face of the girl in front of her and she couldn’t help but be a little surprised. It was definitely Ferret. Alice Hoggs standing right in front of her. There was no way that she would’ve been the one to steal her cigarettes, right? She was trying to remember the last time that the pair of them had spoken, but she honestly couldn't place it. It had been a couple of months, that was for sure. Was she with that Remus bloke now? Marlene honestly couldn’t remember, still being a bit groggy from the wake-up call this morning. ’Um...Can I help you with something?’”Yes you certainly can,”[/b] Marlene growled as she fumbled for something in her robe. Of course, whoever it was had stolen the pack that was in her robe too? That was perfect...just perfect. And by that, she meant that she had no idea how she was going to live the next couple of days without her cigs. She gripped her wand a little tighter and dropped her left arm to her side, ”What exactly do you think you’re doing?”[/b] She sensed the girl’s nervousness and moved a little bit closer, her feet taking slow, calculated steps around her so that she was close enough to intimidate, but not close enough to warrant any unwanted attacks. Marlene swore under her breath, if the girl just gave them back, then she would forget the whole thing. They could go back to the casual friendship that they had established before, ”Seriously, what do you think you’re doing?”[/b] She repeated again, not feeling the need to establish what exactly she thought Ferret had been doing. Marly was more than positive that she was the one who had stollen them.[/justify][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ferret gulped. It was Marlie. In October, they had hooked up. Marlie was one of the more...vocal "students" in Ferret's "lessons". Once they were done (and Ferret actually got a bit of cuddling out of it) Marlie decided it wasn't for her and they went back to their casual friendship. Now, the older girl looked pissed.
"Um..." Ferret hesitated. Not focusing hard enough, her hickys and bite marks from Remus showed clearly. "I...um...went to visit Remus and...um...we lost track of time and...please don't tell Professor McGonagall," Ferret muttered. "I really don't want Remus to get into trouble..."

Marlene lowered her wand, seeing that the girl was oddly nervous. She wondered briefly if it had anything to do with last October - Marly certainly hoped not, after all, she had just decided that it wasn’t for her. It happened. She had wanted to experiment, and she had. Oh, yes, she had.
The light from her wand hit the girl’s skin ever so slightly and Doe became instantly alarmed by what she saw, ”Oh Merlin,”
[/b] She muttered as she raised on eyebrow and walked a little bit closer, surveying what was all over her body, ”Are those-”[/b] She paused and then looked up at the girl with an eyebrow raised, ”And with-”[/b] She took a step back and let a small smile show, ”Oh this is rich.”[/b] Marlene said as she leaned back against the nearby wall. She felt her smile starting to grow a little larger as she stared at the bite marks, scratch marks, and various other love-smatterings across her body. The girl had totally been with Remus doing Merlin knew what. She felt her smile lose some of her luster when she realized that she now had no idea who had taken her cigs. ”I wont tell-”[/b] She pressed her finger to her lip and then pulled her robe closed with the other hand, ”As long as you tell me where they went.”[/b] She said, referring to the person who had supposedly taken her cigarettes. She was stuck on the thought right now, and it seemed as if nothing was going to draw her away from it, ”C’mon Ferret. I’m desperate-”[/b] She almost pleaded and then put her hand in her pocket, ”Someone took my cigarettes.”[/b][/justify][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ferret blushed hard as Marly looked at and commented about Remus's little "gifts". She blushed harder still when she began laughing lightly. But she finally relaxed when the girl promised not to tell. But she blinked a few times when she mentioned her problem.
"Do they have a death wish?" she asked. "Even when we were together, I knew better than to take them out of arms reach." She thought for a moment. "I didn't see anyone when I was coming in," she told her. "Did you run out yesterday? And because you were tired and in such a panic to find them, you forgot?"
