Lance is fifteen, the twin brother of Scar and has a thirst for knowledge like no other.

He needs 'friends' (more like, people to spend time with whom he doesn't exactly trust), enemies (lots of these!) and a romantic interest or two (more like flings).

Got any ideas?

Same house, different year but I don't think Bella would mind Lance too much considering he sort of sticks to himself and isn't a bother to her

LANCE && DORCAS
Quinn came up with an idea that Dorcas grew up near Scar and Lance and was friends with Scar and sort of with Lance I suppose (how close is up to you). Dorcas had a little crush on Lance but in their third year Scar spread a rumour that Dorcas and Lance were dating. Dorcas hasn't spoken to Scar until recently and I figured she'd probably have tried to avoid Lance all together (being all awkward, embarrassed teenager, staying as far away from him in lessons etc.) so I'm happy for Dorcas to keep trying to avoid Lance or they could bump into one another and sort of have a little forced conversation.

Obviously Lance is Scar’s brother, so that’s as good a place to start as any, right? :] I imagine that they would have a very strained relationship, especially since the pair of them are headed in different directions with their lives. I imagine that Scar will eventually join the Order when she proves herself worthy. As far as plots go, they’re both on the Quidditch team, so there might be some bad feelings still left over there from the accident when they were younger. Did you have any fun ideas, m’love? (Thanks again for making Lance!!!)

Marlene is a 6th year Gryffindor, so I’m not sure if there would really be any interaction there, but I figured I would throw her out there for consideration. She’s a bit of a rebellious soul and hates being tied down by rules of any sort. She’s extremely spontaneous and a bit of a bad girl herself, but I’m not sure if she and Lance would get along.

Yeah. These two aren't going to be friends any time soon. I reckon Lance is pretty frustrated at Scar because she's turning towards the Order and he can't stand to see a pureblooded witch go that way. I reckon either he's trying to persuade her to come back to the dark side, or he's given up and is attempting to cut Scar out of his life. Maybe they argue lots or something? What are your ideas, lovely? <3

I don't reckon they'd get along as well, but I reckon that would be why Lance likes her (if that makes sense). Perhaps there's a really strong physical attraction that Lance just can't seem to ignore or something? I dunno! XD][/font]

[/b]&Lance[/b];; Honestly, I hadn't really thought out any specific plots for the pair of them when I asked for someone to take him, I just knew that I wanted her brother on the site :] I like the idea that he’s trying to convince her to come back to the Death Eater side or whatever. Scar will want to please him and she might pretend to be going in one direction just to please him (she’s actually quite terrified of her brother and would do anything to ensure that he doesn’t hurt her the way that he did when he gave her the scar), but in reality, she still firmly believes in equality for everyone.

Marlene[/b]&Lance[/b];; I love this idea! There would definately be some sort of physical attraction between the pair of them, but of course Marlene would be constantly denying it. I completely agree. They're probably on friendly terms, but neither of them trust the other. They just know that the other has the right intentions (following the Dark Lord).

I LOVE IT! Maybe Lance figured that it was Dorcas that spread the rumour, and so he actively tried to avoid her because of it? Maybe Dorcas could tell Lance that it was Scar who actually started it, and they could try to awkwardly be friendly again. Does Dorcas still like Lance like that, though?[/size]

Bella doesn't have many people she doesn't mind/gets on okay with so this will be a nice change!

Ohh! I love the idea of him thinking it was her. I don't think she'd have feelings for him any more because she doesn't know him after not talking to him for two years. Awkward friendly would be good. We'll do a thread soon!
