Georgina had spotted Elena almost instantly, but she'd taken some time before she approached her. She followed her for a while, watching, and judging her mood and her actions to get a feel for the way the younger girl was thinking. Georgie knew her well enough, but there was a nice little reminder she wanted to make tonight, and she wanted to make sure it really hit home.
When Elena was distracted - getting a new drink from the looks of things - Georgina slipped up behind her. "Punch, little E? How... goody-two-shoes of you."
She stood there and smirked, one hand on her waist and her hip jutting out. She stood out a mile compared to all the dresses and costumes around here, seeing as what she wore had nothing to do with the theme at all.

Elena had been filled with a sense of unease since the moment she'd stepped inside of the Great Hall, something was certainly up, or going to happen she just knew it, which made her wonder again why she had in fact not yet left, it wasn't like she was having a good time anyways.
After working her way through the crowd she stepped up to the drinks table, punch wasn't really her thing but beggars couldn't be choosers and she needed a distraction. Stopping by the drinks table though proved to be a stupid move on her part when the familiar sound of Georgina's voice came up behind her.
"Punch, little E? How... goody-two-shoes of you."
Straightening she lay her cup back down on the table and turned to face the other girl, her sense of unease now apparent to her, of course Georgie couldn't go a night without torturing her. Crossing her arms across the corset bodice of her dress, she looked at the other girl. "If I'd have known satan was going to be here I would have brought my autograph book." she said.

As Elena turned to face her she took a defensive stance, crossing her arms over her chest. That alone only served to please Georgie more. It seemed little Elena wasn't all as cool and comfortable as she might like people to think. Georgina looked her over slowly as the blonde girl spoke, and a slow smirk began to spread across her face. "I'm sure satan will wait if you'd like to go get it. But satan might be… otherwise preoccupied by the time you get back…"
She let her eyes drift towards the dance floor and a look crossed her face, eyes lighting up like a predator waiting to play with it's latest prey. She ran her tongue languidly along her lower lip before turning back to face Elena. "If you know what I mean… Little E…" Her grin/smirk was mocking as she stared down the fifth year. She hadn't forgotten what she'd promised to do, and she still had every intention of making good on that promise.

Elena merely rolled her eyes at Georgina, ignoring the unpleasant feeling in her stomach when she commented she may be preoccupied. To think she'd at one time idolized this girl was insane, Elena had quickly seen sense though and realized Georgina had never cared for her, she cared for no one. She followed Georgina's line of sight when she saw the girls eyes light up and saw the reason immediately.
Even with the mask Elena knew Granton when she saw him, she'd known him so intimately that no mask was going to be enough to hide him from her. Turning her gaze back onto Georgina she met the other girls gaze head on when she finally turned back to her and she returned the smirk. Although she was confident that Granton wouldn't touch some one like Georgina, there was no point in denying she was slightly worried. Georgina did have a nasty habit of getting whatever she wanted, Elena was just counting on Granton having more sense.
"Oh I know what you mean...Georgie..." she said smiling, uncrossing her arms, one hand moving to her hip as she tilted her head to the side, "Though your forgetting how well I know him...and there's no way your games are going to work...your going to lose this one..." she said, emitting nothing but confidence as she met Georgina's gaze head on.

Georgina let a smug smirk cross over her face. "You seem oh so confident about that, E." She moved in close to the other girl. "But you forget… I always get what I want."
She'd known Granton longer, too, and she'd been the main reason that he even knew who this pathetic little blonde rag was. "Besides little E, what you have? It's nothing. He only wants you because you're such an easy f*ck for him - he says go you bend over backwards and spread 'em. Oh, Sweet heart…" She reached out and squeezed Elena's cheeks in that kind of 'goochie goo' way people associated with kids and their grandparents or whatever. "You’re so pathetic."
With that, Georgie laughed and turned away, planning on drifting back into the crowd. Her goal was accomplished. All she'd been intending to do was give Elena a little reminder that she hadn't forgotten about their little… agreement. She had no intentions of going after Granton tonight. She just wanted to re-enforce her message so that she could watch and see how the 5th year would react, and Georgie had the feeling things were about to start heating up around here. Perfect.
