Truth or Consequences (Severus/pm me only to join)

Five years ago, things were simple. She was an ordinary muggle, unaware of the danger that lurked outside of the walls at home. Meeting Severus had changed it all. He had opened her up to so many wonderful things. She had trusted him, even if others around her had been weary of doing so. Petunia was a fine example of that as she had called Severus a freak before giving him a chance. She was not the only one.

Potter and his mates had been the prime example of it. Betrayal seemed to be happening all around her. She just couldn’t take it anymore. After the complicated encounter with James yesterday evening she needeed all the guidance she could get. She hadn’t told Severus about it because she feared that Severus would want to hex the prankster.

Not that he didn’t deserve to be hexed because he did, but if anyone was going to hex him it was going to be her. Yet even when she had the oppertunity to do so she had not taken it. She wished things were as simple as they once were but would never be again. Her time at Hogwarts overall had been a magical experiance, something she would never forget. There were some things that were better left unsaid.

The fifteen year old had alot going on these days. Her sister was avoiding her and although things were looking up with her and her best friend Severus, some things had in fact been a little crazier than usual. James had done some of the most sordid things in his past, but having done what he had done that day outside of the Charms classroom. When James had kissed her. That moment alone had frozen in her mind as much as she had hated to even allow herself to think of it. She knew more than anything now that James was never going to leave her alone. She looked at the door to Room of Requirements. As she was keeping an eye out.

She had been there less than an hour but wished for Severus to walk through the door right now, to spare her from being alone and having the thoughts she was having. He’d keep her from thinking of him. She needed Severus to come in and distract her. If that was even possible.

Yesterday was on her mind, during the time she had talked to Potter and she knew that Severus would have a field day if he found out she was alone with him, let alone what James had done to her.

"Come on Severus, where are you?" She thought and focused on that thought alone. Knowing how much she needed her best friend right now, and hoped that he'd know where to find her. She only came to the Room of Requirement when she had no other choice. She was petrified as to how Severus would react if he knew what she knew.

Sev had for once didn't really feel up to being near anyone at the moment but seeing as he had promised Lily he would meet her he had no choice.He was mad,Mad that yet again James and his little hell squad had pranked him yet again. Tired,Tired because of practice shortly after lunch. And count the classes along with it and you can see why Sev was in a crabby mood. He just wanted to go to his common room,go to the boys dorm and jump in his bed and fall asleep. He already had formed a plan to get back at James the next day anyways.

Still in his Quidditch uniform due to being too lazy to bother changing he walks up to the fourth floor,walked up to the wall that was the room of requirement.And walked three times back and forth until a door appeared magically.Stepping up to the door he grabs the knob and turns it slowly.Upon entering the room his eyes scanned the room before closing the door behind him.

The room itself looked serene and consisted of a couch in it, surrounded by what looks like water, and there's a water fall by the door,There's candles around, it's kind of like just a serene place to relax to calm down and the colors were shades that were nice on the eyes.Seeing Lily on the couch he walks over,sat beside her and turns to look at her with a smile."Hi Lils"He said softly.

It didn’t take someone of high intelligence to tell that Severus was in no mood for games let alone anything else. She was sure that Potter and his useless gang of misfits were up to no good as per usual. Remus was the only one who she actually could stand in front of for five minutes without wanting to hex into oblivion. The worst of the worst was James himself. James was the reason that she wanted to come to the Room of Requirement, however, she had wanted to speak to Severus about some of the things she had heard and seen since yesterday.

James had been an insufferable, arrogant git in her mind, as he had never seemed to understand that she would never take his side over her best friend’s. Who was he thinking? What was he thinking? When she had come to the room of Requirement she had formed a plan. What she had needed was a place to relax. The room was serene, crystal clear in nature....with the waterfall as an entrance and the whole room was submerged in what appeared to be natural water when it wasn’t the case.

She couldn’t help but smile when Severus walked in. She felt bad for him as she knew what kind of stuff he was dealing with. Along with the pressures of dealing with Quidditch as a Keeper but he also had to deal with Potter and his rag tag mates as they continually to make him a target of their pranks. He had been through more than enough as it was.

She wanted him to come down and sit with her for a while. Even if it was only for an hour or two. "Thank God he's here."

Although she had a feeling it wouldn’t last long because of how tired he would be. She had always been fairly observant so she could tell when he was in a bad mood and today was one of those days. She hesitated before speaking in a low voice. “Hi Sev. You look like you’ve gotten the crap beat out of you. Sorry about not watching your practice. Didn’t think it was the best place for me to be at today. Especially after what happened yesterday.” She didn’t care to elaborate on what she had meant.
