Rio looked to Risa when he walked in and he raised an eyebrow. Hugging, huh? Considering what Chase had just said he found that somewhat hard to believe. Hugging her after pulling the sl*t card on her? That didn't sound like April at all.
"Thanks, Ris."
He took the bottles from Risa who quickly bopped off out of the room. Before he could even get a good grip on the damn things Chase had taken one from his hands and opened it. "A please or thank you would've been nice, kiddo."
Chase was already half way across the room and heading for the direction of the door. "Where're you going?" Pointless question, it was obvious, but still.
Rio summoned the empty beer bottles to him before following in the direction his kids had vanished in. As he headed into the kitchen he took a long swig from the bottle, surprised to see three heads of blonde hair standing near the counter with April's box of 'Christmas Lunch Supplies' on the counter in front of them.
Seems like thing were going alright after all...
