Another day, another lesson. And this one would be important. If only that poor boy hadn't have fallen down the stairs...
There was no fun in spending a class with one age, no fun at all. No. It would cloud one's judgement to be only among their own. Celeste entirely disagreed. They needed to mix and vary.
Besides, how would that sweet girl meet her future love is she wasn't forced to sit in the only spare seat in the class beside him? No, Celeste refused one age lessons. It was her calling to be here, her job to teach, and in her heart to see the best from these sweet children, and that involved lessons how she wished them to be. Though she knew that, once again, that plump boy would complain today. He always complained, but Celeste knew exactly what she was going to say to him today.
The first few students made their way into her class and she looked up from where she'd been rearranging her crystal balls across the top shelf at the back of the room. Their previous position had interfered with their ability to see past Wednesday and that simply wasn't good enough.
"Did your mother like her birthday present from her suitor?" She asked in way of greeting to the first student through the door, smiling pleasantly to herself as she made her was back down the short steps to the floor. "Oh, dear?" Celeste glanced a boy who entered.
[/b]"It'll happen on the 14th, you needn't worry."[/b] She saw so many things about all these pleasant students, and she felt it beneficial they knew what she did of their lives. The class drifted in slowly and took their seats, while Celeste wandered between them, humming and swaying. The last girl would be late in. She'd met Flinch somewhere on the first floor... "Excellent. Now, I want you all to divide into pairs. Collect a teacup from the shelf, come to me, and I will fill it. Then sit down and drink; drink until only the dregs remain. Swirl these around the cup three times with the left hand, then turn the cup upside-down on its saucer; wait for the last of the tea to drain away, then give your cup to your partner to read. You will interpret the patterns using pages five and six of Unfogging the Future. I shall move among you, helping and instructing. Oh, and sweetie –" she caught a girl by the arm as she made to stand up – "As strange as it may appear, be assured she is wrong you have no reason to scream." [/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify]

As a seer who didn't have normal sight, Roxanna found Divination awkward if not anything. She came up the place and swept the area in front of her as her cane touched an empty chair it tipped over. "fudge" she said as she fumbled until she found the chair and set it upright. She came to the front of the class and sat down at a seat that was always left empty for her and said. "Morning professor, I'm sorry I'm late" she said as she folded her cane so that it was not tripping anyone over, she set it in front of her and got her Taunt's tarot cards out of her pocket and set them aside too she didn't want them to spill over. She wondered if her professor would be able to tell her something about this odd vision fest she was having maybe, maybe not. As she fumbled on her desk she found that there was a tea cup and knew they were doing tea leaves, she was not particularly fond of these things but she sighed and started to drink.

Peter had followed James and Sirius up to Divination reluctantly, as it wasn't one of his favorite classes. He couldn't keep up with Professor Pontmercy's madwoman chattering, and all the random and crazy things she came out with.
The minute he walked into the classroom he could tell that she was doing it again already. She was insane! The woman was a lunatic.
Peter followed the others and sat somewhere near the front on one of the only empty tables and he sighed, dropping his bag on the floor and sulking in his seat. What stupid thing would they be learning about today?
Tea leaves. Greaaaat. How fun. Pretending to find shapes in a pile of gooey mush was always fun, wasn't it? The best bit? Peter really hated the taste of tea. He winced with every mouthful he took.
Roxanna in hufflepuff came in late and he used that as a distraction so that he didn't have to drink anymore.
Peter didn't know much about her other than the fact that she was blind and that she used a cane to get around. Aside from that, she was just one seriously hot looking Hufflepuff. He found himself staring at her as she got herself seated and picked up her own tea cup that the professor had set down on her table.
Because of where he was sitting, Peter was almost directly behind her and he gulped. She'd hear anything he said, and Peter wasn't very good when it came to talking to or in front of girls... He'd probably make a fool of himself reading these tea leaves or something. Not that it mattered, she probably didn't even know who he was.
Finishing off the tea, Peter did as instructed and turned it over on the saucer and sighed. This was going to be a long lesson...

She looked up as she heard the rest of the class and as she heard everyone else, she heard Remus, Sirius, and James quite nearby. She then turned straight behind her knowing Peter must be there. She didn't mind him in fact, she felt a little protective of him scratch, she felt a lot protective of him. That was how she was really. "I haven't missed anything big right? who does she think is dying this week?" she asked as a joking way. She had the respect for her Divination professor just as she had respect for ANY teacher she just seriously questioned the legitimacy of some of the woman's predictions. She herself was a seer and she couldn't "see" at least not like that. She gave him a friendly smile all the same, she was not a hard person to get to know and she said. "Peter right?" she had decided several days ago she needed to get to know more people. Not that she didn't know many already but actually talk with them. It would help her. As she was doing this she heard a small whoosh that would have been unnoticeable to anyone that was not blind. Her four senses other then her sight had been increased tremendously when her eyesight had gone. She realized someone was throwing a wand in her direction. She turned and whipped her wand out. "Protago" she called defending herself from the wand. She then turned back towards Peter as if nothing had happened. "As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, my name is Roxanna Lewis...you might or might not know me"

Peter gulped hard when Roxanna turned around in her seat to face them. He knew she was friends with some of his friends, only made more obvious when they answered her question with a laugh.
Peter gulped even harder when she turned to him. She actually knew his name? How? Since when? Wasn't he a no body around here? No one knew who he was... But Roxanna? The hot girl? Peter tried not to think about that as he somehow forced himself to nod, confirming that yes, he was, in fact, Peter. Of course, nodding was pointless but Peter had some how, in that stunned moment of shock, forgotten that the pretty girl couldn't actually see him nod.
Roxanna grabbed her wand suddenly and spun, shouting out the spell to reflect unwanted hexes and curses and stuff. Peter blinked rapidly and looked around the classroom, wondering who had cast it. What the hell? How had she even known that was going to happen? It was pretty cool though. All around people were pausing to look at her. It was probably that Slytherin sitting smuggly on the end of the row...
Roxanna turned back as if nothing had happened and looked at Peter again.
"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, my name is Roxanna Lewis...you might or might not know me"
"I... I... I kn- I know you." He sounded like a complete stuttering fool but he couldn't help it. He was really bad at talking to girls at the best of times.

James grinned at Roxanna's question. "I don't think she's predicted any deaths, but she has warned a few people not to scream."
James knew Roxanna and he'd spoke to her a time or two, but he couldn't say he knew her particularly well. That is to say, he could know her better. She was an interesting person to be around, and that was only proved in the way she whipped out her wand to protect herself without there being any clear indication of an impending attack. Maybe she could hear something he couldn't? He had heard somewhere that people who lost one sense became better in their other senses...
James sat back in his chair and grinned, watching Peter stumble and stutter over his words as Roxanna spoke to him. Peter... poor guy was awful at talking to girl, and even worse at talking to girls he obviously had a 'thing' for.
Peter could fight his own battles here, and James just grabbed the upturned cup Peter was ignoring and turned it over. Remus and Sirius were working as a pair, so James was with Peter. While his friend 'attempted' to talk to the girl in front, James pretended he wasn't listening in to their conversation and made it look like he was actually concentrating on reading the cup in front of him. All he could really see were lumps of nothing.

Her grin broadened. So, she wasn't quite a weird-o after all. People actually knew her. She giggled she thought it was cute that he stammered, some boys couldn't cook, others couldn't cast a spell to save their lives but apparently Peter's weakness was talking to girls. Not that it bothered her, it actually was quite cute. "Don't worry, I don't bite...and I'm not as dull as many Hufflepuffs are rumored to be...we're just...odd" she said as she looked at him. "As for that idiot who thought I wouldn't see that coming" she said with a sigh. "He keeps that up he's gonna have some serious problems" she said as she put her wand down in front of her apparently, she was going to need it. "Forgive me if I ramble...I...do talk a lot well, when I want to anyhow" she said as she touched her cup. What the heck was a blind girl supposed to do with tea cups she couldn't read them. She then turned the cup upside down and held the cup out in Peter's direction. "Maybe you can read what's in it for me in the future" she said with a slight laugh. "I don't know, maybe you see something else then I do" this had a double meaning to it since she did see both with tarot and with her seer powers but it could have been interpreted as the fact that she couldn't see much with the tea leaves being blind and all.

Peter looked to James but he'd already turned his attention away and was looking through the book. Peter gulped hard and tried to think of what James would usually say. "I thought Hufflepuffs were the party people." Okay... James really wouldn't say that, but at least he'd said something.
As Roxanna talked about the guy (how did she know it was a guy?) that hexed her, and about talking a lot, and about rambling, Peter just stared at her in awe. He had no idea what to say. Peter and girls and talking? They were three words that didn't fit in a sentence together unless it involved the words awkward, failure, and idiot.
Peter took the tea cup from her and stared at it. Holy crap! He didn't know titt from tatt when it came to divination! And Peter didn't exactly have the imagination for making himself see shaped in a pile of mush. But then again... if he just made something then Roxanna would never know, would she? And at least he could pretend it was something good.
"Err... 'kay." He said quite awkwardly as he pulled his book towards him and flicked through to the right page. He took a glance into the tea cup and frowned at the pile of must that he saw there. If anything, it looked like a pile of dog crap, but he didn't think would be a good thing to look up in the book... Actually, he was going to just for the hell of it.
Flicking through the pages, he let his eyes skim the content. He found what he was looking for too... "This form means that the drinker will be faced with unforseen events. They will have to make decisions based on evidence they can not see, and they must judge on words alone. The drinker will not know which of those involved speak the truth and which deceive them, but there will be unfortold consequences..." Peter looked up to Roxanna after reading the passage. Well that wasn't a very good future, but then again, he'd looked up the first thing that came to mind. "Maybe I'll look again..."

The trouble was, that news didn't phase the girl. As a seer and a tarot reader, she had been able to do what few people with tarot cards, divine for herself this was the exact same news she'd received. Truth be told she was trying to figure out what it all could mean in the end but she knew now was not the time for it. But she gave Peter some encouragements. "Hey, you're doing great if I didn't know any better I'd say you came from a long line of seers" She gave him another encouraging smile. She then wondered how she was supposed to read the tea leaves, she could if she could force a vision of it maybe. What she couldn't see in an ordinary day, she could see if she had a vision. She reached out and took Peter's cup. "Want me to see?" she asked. "if you drank it all I could try something myself with divination although mind you my reading might not be too accurate my specialty are cards" she mused. She then quickly did a quick little reading of the day thing these were fun and quick to do and it calmed her in any given situation, shuffling her deck she picked up a card from the top and smiled. "You're going to go on a journey....and no not a physical one we'd have a problem if you did...but more or less like an internal journey" she said as she gave him the card to see. "I think this is also your signifer so that's a good indication that it's about you"
