It was a rainy night when she had the vision so after that horrifying nightmare/vision she ran out of her dorm room without her cane and into the first place she could think of, this room of requirement. "I need to find a place to be alone...where NO ONE can find me" she muttered as she paced in front of where the door would be and she found herself with a door that led inside, pushing open the door she was now in what appeared to be Taunt Marie's living room only if she could have seen the room. As she sighed and tried to breath she tried to think about the vision. She was sure that was a vision of the past, she had heard her aunt and her parents, arguing and spells had been flying everywhere and she really couldn't think anymore. Taking a couple deep breaths she wondered what the teachers would say if they found her here, she normally didn't like to be in a place by herself in fact, she had a phobia of being alone but now she would face being alone then to have to tell them what exactly she had seen. As she moaned and curled up against the purple couch she started to cry. Then in the midst of her tears she thought she heard someone walking by, she shut up hoping they hadn't heard her hiccuping. She took out her wand, ready to attack whoever it was.

It was Alice's turn to monitor the hallways at night and look for out-of-bounds students. She didn't really mind, though she did find the dark halls of Hogwarts to be a little bit creepy. The silence they offered was nice though. She had her wand lit in front of her and she was humming an indistinguishable tune under her breath as she mentally went through all the homework she had due tomorrow, trying to see if she'd forgotten anything. She was pretty sure she had it all done, but she had the nagging feeling she was forgetting something. it wasn't a nice feeling.
She thought she caught movement out of the corner of her eye. Whoever it was—if it was a person—was moving rather quickly. She followed after it, trying to ignore the pounding in her heart and that voice that always told she was in danger even when she wasn't. She turned the corner and saw someone up ahead of her, a flash of blond hair before they disappeared behind a door that Alice couldn't see.
It had looked a lot like Roxanna, but could it be? She quickly moved to where she had last seen her, forgoing all efforts to be quiet. There didn't seam to be a door there, but Alice was sure she'd seen her, or at least, she wasn't going to leave until she was sure she hadn't. There had been something about the way she'd—moved—that made Alice worry about her.
She checked around, pushing at different places on the wall, all the while wishing that she could just get in to check on her friend. When she looked back up, there was a door in front of her.
Her eyes widened, but she didn't stop to think, she just went in. "Roxanna?" she whispered in the dark, and then she saw the wand. "Wait, its Alice, Alice Prewett, I won't hurt you, I promise," She said hurriedly, still not sure who she was talking too.

The first thing she wanted to do was cast a spell but the voice stopped her. Alice, her friend. Nevermind the vision she had to focus on the here and now. "A-Alice?" she said having a bit of an accent about her. She was from the United States after all, Salem was her home. She put her wand down and took a couple deep breath. Shaking her head, the Hufflepuff seer asked, "W...What are you doing here? I...I didn't think it was your night" she tried to make herself look and make herself sound, fine. She was fine and she swore it, that was her motto, right? She went over and reached her hand out to the other girl to make sure it was her. This could be risky if she was NOT who she was, but she was taking that chance.

It was Filius' night to patrol the castle again (he'd lost a friendly bet to Professors McGonagall and Sprout), and he was quite pleased. Many other teachers disliked the duty, but Filius loved the castle at night; quiet and serene and dreamlike in the moon and candle light.
It was a good chance to think, a night patrol - very little ever happened that the Caretaker and his apprentice didn't intercept and deal with, and so largely Filius' nights of patrolling consisted of long stretches of idle dreaming interspersed with a few incidents (often, but not always caused by those four boys in Gryffindor).
So when he rounded the corner by the tapestry of Barnabus the Barmy's ill-fated attempt to teach trolls ballet and heard sobs and muffled voices, Filius sighed softly at the disruption to his current train of thought. Then he noticed that the door to the Room of Requirement was currently manifest, and felt a slight twinge of curiosity.
Heading over to look inside the room he spotted a pair of students, both girls (a Gryffindor and a Hufflepuff unless he missed his mark). Knocking on the door and clearing his throat, the diminutive Professor smiled at them. "Good evening, my dears. I'm surprised to find you here, normally it is mostly my Ravens who learn of and take advantage of the secrets of the Room of Requirement." Looking at them more closely, he recognized the girls, and noted the tearstains and concern on Roxanna and Alice's faces respectively.
"Is everything alright?" He asked gently. "You should be in bed, Ms. Lewis, so I presume some reason has lured you out of it."

"Holy CRAP!" Hearing the knock and the voice made her fall back, she fell over the couch and landed on the floor. She did not like people doing that but the voice made her smile well, as smile as she best could anyhow. She put on a smile wiping her tears away. "I'm fine and I swear it professor" she said trying to sound cheerful. She didn't want to worry anyone, she didn't even know if half the staff knew about the visions she had. She took several deep breaths and said. "I...I'll go back to bed...it's late" She started to walk away but without her cane, which she hadn't had the presence of mind to fetch the result was she fell and tripped over something. Taunt Marie's living room was nothing if not complicated. She had assumed that she bumped into something hard which could have been a number of different things. She now had a headache to top off her vision. "Someone just kill me" she muttered as she got up and tried to walk again. As it was habit for her, she normally didn't make it a habit of breaking rules, she stayed in bed unless she had a VERY good reason to be out and she really, hadn't been thinking, all they would have had to do, was to look for her and they would have found her here. "So much for privacy" she mumbled.

Alice relaxed when it was her, and when she didn't get hexed.
"yeah I um...had to switch with someone," She would have smiled to try to ease the tension, but as Roxanna couldn't see her it really wouldn't help much. When she first had tried interacting with Roxanna, it had taken her a while to get used to her blindness. And even after that she still slipped up a lot. She was doing much better though.
She noticed that Roxanna wasn't holding her cane and though she couldn't quite tell in the dark it didn't look like she had it at all. A deep frown line appeared on Alice's face. It didn't seam like her to leave the room without it, and her voice seemed to be on the verge of cracking and she almost looked panicked. Alice was really worried now.
"Roxanna," she began gently, "What are you—" she broke off suddenly as the door opened. At first she didn't see anyone, which made her heart sink. She looked down, and even though she'd been expecting their smallest Professor, she still jumped a little when she saw him. Her jump with nothing compared to Roxanna's though, who seemed completely caught off guard as Professor Flitwick asked them what they were doing.
"Umm..." she began, though of course she couldn't answer because she didn't know what Roxanna was doing, exactly. She was almost going to lie, to a teacher, by saying that she'd invited Roxanna to come with her and they'd seen something in the room of requirement; but Roxanna beat her too it. She could hear the false note in her friend's voice, though she hoped professor Flitwick wouldn't, or if he didn't he wouldn't do anything about it.
She jumped again when Roxanna fell, but as the girl stood up and started muttering she was pulled out of her frozen trance. "Umm... mind if I help you?" She said tentatively as she placed a hand of her upper arm. She usually didn't offer to help anymore because Roxanna could get by just fine with her cane, but she seemed to be in a little bit of a right state right now and Alice would never forgive herself if she fell down the stairs and broke her neck or something because she was obviously distraught.

Taking several braths, the seer nodded and took the other girl's elbow. Sighted guide was something she seldom used mostly because she didn't want to worry anyone or be a burden but now with her thoughts all jumbled and her mind off the edge, she needed something, someone steady. She wondered if anyone would realize the living room, some of the wizarding folks including some of her school mates and their parents and even some professors would have known her aunt seeing as how her aunt had worked first for the ministry then had written for several journals. She finally found a place to sit, no doubt another purple couch. "I...I'm fine...I swear it's....oh....it's nothing, I actually was hoping that It was my night to patrol but realized halfway here that it wasn't I would have gone back but my cane wasn't with me so I thought I'd let myself get caught, lose some house points and then go back with sighted guide" but for those that knew the girl, they would not beleive, Roxanna was a lot of things but a good liar was not on that list. She pulled her blond hair, something she did in agitation. She then realized that something had fallen out of her pocket since her pajama had pockets, she had often liked to keep her Taunt Marie's cards with her. She bent down on the floor keeping one hand still on Alice and she gathered up her Taunt's tarot cards, she sighted as she made sure there were seventy eight of them before she shoved them back in her pockets. They had been protected with more charms then or as much charms as Hogwarts she figured. "D-Don't worry about me, I'm not worth that...it's okay" she tried to smile again.

Celeste headed quickly down from her classroom where she'd stayed till late that night. There was something on her mind tonight. She'd been staring, as usual, into a crystal ball, and she'd seen the most strangest of sights.
That alone had been enough to encourage her out of her room and off it find the source of such a sight. She knew that one of the students here was a seer - she'd realized the first moment the girl had walked into her classroom. It had been impossible to miss, but for some reason, Celeste felt that she kept connecting with the girl in a strange way. She had a feeling there were stronger powers in the girl that even Roxanna herself knew of.
The room of requirements... she'd found the room when she started and her sight had let her to it. It was the strangest of room, yet so fascinating too. Great things came to her inner eye when she was in that room, from future and past alike.
The door stood ajar and just inside she could see the figure of Professor Flitwick, but beyond that, she knew she'd find the girl in question.
She moved swiftly past the other professor without acknowledging him there, humming as she did. There was Roxanna, quickly pocketing some tarrot cards like she always had with her.
"Your visions are strong tonight..." Celeste said dreamily, looking around the room with avid curiosity.

Now THAT took her by surprise she was about to fall back again except she was holding onto her friend. "P-Professor Pontmercy?" she stammered as she heard her Divination professor. What on earth had drawn her down here? in fact why were any teachers down here anyway? this was too far from the Divination classroom. So what on earth was going on? She shook her head, she needed to sit down and relax. Then something else aside from the fact that she had found her caught Roxanna off guard. So the woman knew. "You-You know...how...how long have you..." she couldn't make her words come out right as she tried to think things through this was mind boggling. As she stood there, she wondered if she could just disappear with an invisibility cloak. As she thought about that she heard the familiar screeching of a screech owl as it perched on her shoulder, how had it found her in here? wasn't the room supposed to be private. "Someone just shoot me" she said aloud.

Celeste drifted around the room taking in everything that she could see here. There was something about the place that really appealed to her, and it had a certain... vibe.
Roxanna spoke behind her and a small smile passed over Celeste's face. "Always." Truth was, when she'd first arrived here over the summer she'd really got a feel for the power of the place, but the minute the students arrived there was an odd tingle in the air that was caused by more than just the number of students who were there. It was something more. Something stronger.
Every so often, Celeste would feel a strange surge of power at it made her own sight, in whatever form she was viewing, increase in its power, accuracy, strength... everything. She quickly realized when she first saw Roxanna that she was the cause of what had happened. There was an aura to her that was impossible to miss.
"No one will shoot you, but you may want to avoid the small boy who is carrying icecream on Monday... You'll be late to your lesson if you don't..." Celeste spoke as the image came to mind. She was blessed with these visions on a regular basis, and always spoke them aloud.

"okay, note to self avoid anyone with icecream" perhaps her professor had forgotten that she was blind but she knew those around her had sight and any one of her friends would be happy to guide her. She felt around until she was now comfortably sitting in a chair, with two concerned/curious teachers plus a concerned best friend, it was quite clear she would not be leaving the place anytime soon. She sighed as she looked down at her knees she didn't want to admit her sight in fact, it had been a well kept secret among some of her closest friends and certain teachers. She shook her head wondering what would become of the night. Fumbling she clicked on her wristwatch. "it is 2:35 am" it told her as she said aloud. "I'm sorry if I'm keeping anyone from their sleeps...really, I should go to bed and everything will be quite peachy...you all need your sleeps" she told them in a small voice.

Alice relaxed when she accepted her help, a smile spreading across her face. She listened as Roxanna explained her story. Could forgetting her cane be why she was upset? But then why would she come here, a place that by the sound of things was rather hard to find? No, there was definitely something else going on, but she wasn't going to make Rozanna tell her what it was, she probably wouldn't even make her explain it tonight. What she needed was sleep, and tomorrow when she was feeling better Alice would try, gently, to figure out what was going on so she could help.
She stopped when Roxanna dropped her Tarot cards. She considered helping her pick them and even bent down to grab them, but with the girl still gripping her arm it made it rather difficult. So instead she just hovered awkwardly over while she picked it up.
She was shocked by her friends pronouncement. How could she think that? "How can you say that? Of course you're worth it, " she said with a combination of urgency, her usually nurturing feel, and an attempt to be discreet since it was completely awkward to say something like that in front of a teacher and she was hoping he wouldn't hear. Though she knew that was a fruitless hope, so she just tried to pretend he wasn't there.
She had been hoping to leave after that when someone else came in. Another teacher, who's name she didn't know but who she was pretty sure was the divination teacher. She said something about visions, about Roxanna's visions, about them being strong?
Alice looked at her in confusion, visions? What was she talking about? She felt Roxanna react beside her. The teacher's pronouncement had clearly freaked her out, and she kept going on about knowing or not knowing something. But how could she know what? What were they talking about? What was going on?
And now the teacher was making some weird prediction about ice cream and Roxanna was pretending she was fine even though Alice could tell she really wasn't. Roxanna wanted to get out, Roxanna needed to get out and Alice needed to help her do that, but she was frozen in her confusion. She was a little bit frazzled, and even when Roxanna prepared to leave she stayed put, staring around dizzily at everyone's faces.

With two teachers and a vision and a very confused friend, she had no idea what to do. Visions was not something she liked people to know about her publically, after all she had only found out her Taunt had the gift after her death. Sure, messing with Tarot card had always been one of their dailey routains of the day but it had been more for fun or so she was told. She felt her friend who wasn't moving from where she was. "A-Are you all right?" she asked quietly. She wondered if now was a time to tell the girl or not. Only a few knew, the Divination teacher obviously would but she was now a little upset that Flitwick and Alice might not have known about it, she was hoping she could keep it a secret, but oh well what had happened, happened. She took some more deep breaths she seemed to be doing that a lot these days. She would talk to her Divination professor later and she probably would have a talk with Alice tomorrow too but that was tomorrow. She then spaced out for a moment, what if her Taunt had been alive? she had put a lot of stuff together after the death of Marie Lewis and had figured out that her seer abilities were what made her suggest the vacation/living arrangement in the first place. Her Taunt had seen her misery at home in her mind's eye. She sighed as she shook her head if she kept going on this line of thought she'd burst into tears again and she didn't want to cry. "I-I swear I'll explain it...tomorrow....I swear" she whispered so that her friend could hear her.

Roxanna was asking her if she was alright, and Alice immediately felt ashamed of herself. What was she doing? She didn't have time freeze up, not when Roxanna was so obviously distressed and clearly needed her support. She gave herself a mental shake. "Yes, yes, of course I am," and she tried to smile it off with a semi-genuine grin. She quickly took her place at Roxanna's side, still wanting to get out of here as quickly as possible.
She heard Roxanna whispering in her ear, and she wished so much that she could nod. By the sound of things though at least one of them knew what she was talking about, but that didn't mean they should parade it, Alice supposed.
"Okay," she said back as softly as she could. They just needed to get out of here and then this would all be over. She would get Roxanna back to her dorm, finish her patrol and then see what sleep she could scrounge up herself. And tomorrow, tomorrow she would find out exactly what was going on, or at least as much as Roxanna was willing to tell her. She wasn't a pushy person, and she had a feeling when Roxanna was ready to tell her something, she would, and that was good enough.
(sorry, no muse )

Note: it's all right, we have to wait for LUKE and JENNA to move anything anywhere it's because we're stuck until they do lol. She squeezed Alice's hand. The girl had been her best friend that she had known forever, their houses seemed to not matter so much and the two were practically like sisters the way Roxanna saw it. What was she doing hiding it from her? she had no idea and she was now kicking herself for it. She shook her head self pity was something she could not indulge in for too long. As she snapped out of it she realized she was still where they had been with three teachers and the night was still not over. Before she could say anything else she gasped when she had another vision about the boy with the ice cream. She had no idea how she was able to see that and it was very short but she saw it all the same. When she came out of it she had a migraine more then anything but she was good at covering up. "I'm okay...I just...forgot..." Of course Alice would not believe how could she, Roxanna was a lot of things a good liar was not one of them. She tried to take deep breaths wondering what her teachers would do, would she and Alice be in trouble. Well, Alice probably not since it was her duty night but would she be in detention? not that it matter if it meant that she could stop having these blasted vision she was about to take as much as suspension from school if someone could help her.
