so you know that guy-- what's his name...
percy jackson? yes, that's right. well, he
never existed. nope. nada. and all his
friends-- luke, annabeth, grover, thalia?
they aren't real either. let's just go back
and pretend like we never heard of them.
so, how's camp half-blood without them
there, you might ask? well, in truth, not
that great.
there is trouble brewing in the east.
monsters are ravaging europe,
destroying every demigod in their
paths. tension is brewing between the
gods; some, like poseidon and zeus and
athena, say that they should send out
demigod troups from camp half-blood to
help their eastern counterparts. but the others,
such as hades and ares, say that this is too
much trouble-- the west isn't doing that great
either. monsters are running rampant, and
even the magical boundaries of the demigod
camp are no longer entirely safe.
but the campers don't know this is
happening. everything has been kept a close
secret-- the counselors and chiron don't want
campers to start picking sides. war inside the
camp is not a good idea at the moment. but
everyone can tell something is wrong. more
and more monsters attack each day, and satyrs
are having a hard time getting new campers in
because the monsters keep getting stronger,
and more organized.
but there is hope. a group of new demigods,
from a camp in australia, have come in to help.
camp half-blood may be more crowded, but security
is a lot better. though some question whether or
not these new campers are trustworthy, most are
relieved to have them there. that is, until they
learn from the oracle of the camp that one of them
is a traitor.
life is not going well for the demigods. war is
upon them. monsters are growing stronger.
and, in the midst of all this, they learn that even
the boundaries of camp are not safe from
treachery and evil. all in all, being a demigod
means that sometimes
-- ignorance is bliss ?!
