HOW LONG WILL WE TAKE TO COME UNDONE? IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER TELL ME NOW, AND I'LL WRITE UP A CALENDAR FOR OUR COUNTDOWN As Lachlan walked down the hallway in search of his buddy Trent, he couldn't help but whistle. After the commotion at the Halloween Ball, Lachlan was doing his utmost to forget the whole incident.
Chase was a good kisser, but it was an experience that was never to be repeated again.
Of course, word had gotten out about the two Hufflepuff boys snogging their brains out, but thankfully most of it had been the fun sort of teasing, and not the 'ew-what-planet-are-you-from' kind.
Eventually Lachlan reached the library. There were no two ways about it; Trent would be in there, no doubt studying, or talking to Madam Pince about some book or another. Lachlan swore the old lady had a thing for Trent, but he mostly kept that theory to himself. Mostly.
He spied Trent in the far corner of the library, books piled on the desk and seemingly talking to someone that Lachlan couldn't see. It was probably another one of his tutoring students, or perhaps Trent was finally making it with the ladies. Shrugging, Lachlan made his way over.
"Chatting up Madam Pince again, are we?" he said sarcastically, flipping a chair around and resting chin on his folded arms, which sat atop the back of the chair. He made puppy dog eyes at Trent, hoping for an amusing answer.

Trent walked into the Library and took a deep breath, inhaling the smell of books and must with a small smile on his face. No matter how much Lachlan might mock him for saying it, the Library truly was one of his favourite places at Hogwarts. While there were various other places he liked to read as well; the commonroom, the Great Hall, outside on a cloudy day – there was something about the ambience of the Library that reminded him of sitting by the desk in his father’s study as a child.
He’d done a deal with Professor Flitwick to do an essay on Illusion Charms in exchange for an application to perform them for extra credit on his OWLs, and so he’d come here to the Library to get started. Off the top of his head, Trent could probably have written a better essay on Illusions than any student in the castle, but he wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity to learn something new and get marks for it.
Nodding a greeting to Madame Pince, Trent headed through the stacks of books towards the tables set aside for student study, grabbing a few useful looking books as he went. Looking for a table to study at, he noticed that none of them were free but spotted his friend Abigail sat alone (other than a large pile of books) at a table. The younger Ravenclaw and he were both (very) frequent visitors to the Library, and had struck up a friendship over their shared love of books and studying.
”Morning, Tay.” Trent smiled and gestured at the table, ”Mind if I join you? I’ve got an essay for Flitwick needs doing.”
Setting his books down and pulling out a pile of parchment to take notes on, Trent glanced across the table at Tay. ”How goes the day? Assessment under control, or am I seeing the results of a last minute rush?”
Opening the first book he’d picked up, something titled ‘Seeking the Will o’ Wisp: Deceit and Deception in Wizarding Philosophy’
, Trent began to study, pausing every few lines to jot down notes on the contents. He’d half-finished the book when suddenly his attention was drawn to the sound of loud and familiar footsteps and Lachlan plonked himself down on a chair by the table ”I’ve told you before, Lachie dearest,” Trent said sweetly, ”I have absolutely no interest in joining you and the Madam for a threesome.” He winked cheekily at Lachie and then, stifling his laughter, turned towards Tay. ”Study-buddy of mine, meet my oaf of a best friend, Lachlan. Lachlan, this is my fellow brainiac Tay.”[/blockquote]

your eyes were smiling then you left me hanging around with all your wack friends
you don't take me serious Every so often Tay just really wanted to get away for a bit and escape the busy hustle and bustle of the castle, and while the library was usually quite a busy place, it was also quite and calm, and what's what she wanted right now.
Besides, she had a couple of pieces of homework she should be making a start on, and when better than now? At least if she got some of it out of the way then she wouldn't feel guilty for not doing it later that night when she got back up to her dorm.
After wandering around a picking out a few books she thought might be useful, she'd found herself a table that had just been cleared by a group of first years and settled down to get in a few hours work in before lunch.
She hadn't been there long when a familiar voice stirred her from her work and she glanced up. "Hey, Trent." She shot him a smile and reached to shove her books out of the way for him. "Sure thing. Something interesting?"
While Trent was a year above her and from a different house, they'd found themselves sharing a table in the busy library several times over the years, and it quickly became normal to do so. At least sitting together there wasn't too much risk of getting distracted by chattering. Both of them liked to just knuckle down and get their work out of the way, and then maybe follow it up with a bit of a chat.
"Oh, there's time left for these. I just want some out of the way so I can chillax a little tonight."
With another smile his way, Tay turned her attention back to her essay and things went back to how they'd been before he'd came over, which was the way they usually worked. A quick 'hi, how are you?' then work. And that was just the way she liked it.
They worked in silence for a while, with Tay ignoring the sounds and scuffles of the other students around her. So when heavy footsteps headed their way, Tay paid no attention to them, just kept her head down. The motion of a chair swinging around caused her to look up sharply but it was clear that who ever he was, he was a friend of Trent's.
She didn't want to intrude so looked back down to her noted without really paying any attention to who it was who was there or what they were saying. Still, at Trent's comment about a threesome with Madam Pince she couldn't help but laugh quietly to herself. He was usually quite quiet, but he came out with some of the strangest comments sometimes.
Trent looked over at her and she saw the movement, looking over at him just as he started introducing her to whatever friend had appeared. She couldn't help but roll her eyes a laugh softly at the brainiac comment.
"I'm hardly a brainiac, but hey." She looked over at Lachlan and smiled, only really noticing for the first time who it was that was sat there. She hadn't spoken to him before, but she'd seen him with Trent around the school a few times in passing.
A slight hint of color caught her cheek and she looked down briefly. She'd noticed him around alright. Silly little school girl crush that she wished she could shake off. Well, what girl didn't have a silly little crush at some point? It was pretty much normal and it didn't mean anything.
Mentally shaking herself, Tay looked back at him. Well, now he was here she might as well make the most of it. Who knew, she might even end up with a new friend out of this... "A threesome with Pince? You know she might just go for it. I'm sure she has her eye on Trent."
Tay shot a smile towards Trent. She'd made that comment a time or two before and he wasn't the biggest fan of hearing it, which made it all the more amusing to say.

HOW LONG WILL WE TAKE TO COME UNDONE? IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER TELL ME NOW, AND I'LL WRITE UP A CALENDAR FOR OUR COUNTDOWN Lachlan made a face at Trent. "It's you she wants, baby," he winked back and laughed. The Madam Pince joke had been going on for a while now, but it was still funny. Lachlan had to stifle a giggle every time the old lady walked past. He secretly knew it was because she wanted to see more of Trent.
As Trent introduced him to his study-buddy friend, Lachlan had to make a conscious effort to keep his jaw locked in place. Else, it would have crashed to the floor, along with his eyeballs. What a knockout! She was stunning. Lachlan put on his most charming, seductive smile, and could only hope that Trent wasn't going to make him look like an idiot in front of her.
"Well, hey, you're in Ravenclaw," he said, a big smile on his face, "so that has to count for something." Not only was she smart (come on, who was in Ravenclaw that had an IQ lower than one thousand?), but she was funny too.
"You know what?" Lachlan said, shuffling his chair closer to Tay, "I've been saying the same thing for years. Can't you just see the two of them cuddled up in bed, bonding over their love for musty old books?" He could only imagine the kind of face that Trent was pulling at him. He'd heard it too many times before...
"And I'll have you know," Lachlan said, turning back to Trent, "that I am not an oaf. I do believe you're getting me muddled up with Chase again," he cracked a smile and turned his attention promptly back to Tay. There was something about that hair that made Lachlan want to lean in and smell it. But, unfortunately fo rhim, that was considered creepy.

When Tay chimed in on the Madam Prince issue, Trent rolled his eyes at her exaggeratedly. ”Come now young lady, let’s play fair. You wouldn’t want me to accidentally mention the story about you, Filch and a broom closet, would you?”
Undeterred, Lachie continued to stretch the joke on and Trent pulled a sour face at his friend. The joke had been going on for years now – the result of combining Trent’s love for the library with his friendship with the Librarian who controlled his access to the books, a friendship he’d carefully cultivated so that in only his Fifth Year he already had unlimited access to the Restricted Section.
”Very funny, Lachie. As if we haven’t all seen the way you glance at some of the Professors.” Trent turned to Tay and commented in a mock-confiding tone, ”I swear I once heard him trying to chat up Professor McGonagall. Got a taste for the old ladies, does our Lachie.” He shot Lachlan a sly wink.
Trent had noticed the way that they were both sneaking glances at each other. For that matter, he’d noticed the ever-so faint blushes Tay always got whenever he brought up Lachie. Unobservant was one thing that Trent Rockwell was not, and he’d always intended to get the two of them into a room together someday and see if anything came of it. Now it looked like chance had done the job for him and saved him the effort.
And from the looks of things, the meeting was going better than he’d ever imagined.

your eyes were smiling then you left me hanging around with all your wack friends

Tay's smile bordered on a grin in return to the one Lachie sent her way. She didn't miss the way that he shuffled his chair closer in her direction either and that only served to make her smile more and another wave of heat rise to her cheeks. Sure he was probably just being friendly, but so what? She sure wasn't going to complain. "In that case, great minds think alike. How about forget the bed. I'm sure Pince has a kinky side. They'd be in the stacks somewhere, don't you think?" Now, she really did have a cheeky grin on her face. Something in her stomach was fluttering like butterflies, but at the same time, he was so easy to talk to.
Tay's gaze shot to Trent and her mouth fell open. "You make that sound like something it's not!" She couldn't help but laugh at the same time as cringing at the awful idea it brought to mind. "Oh, God that so awful..." Still, she laughed, it half turning into a snort and she had to fling her hands over her mouth and shut her eyes tight, shoulders still shaking. Once she started laughing it was so hard for her to stop, and she usually ended up getting weird looks for it. Being in the library, those weird looks were paired with annoyed glares from students who were trying work.
Just as she began to get herself under control, Trent made a comment about Lachlan and McGonagall and how he had a taste for old ladies. It was enough to set her off again giggles and it took so much effort to try and keep quiet. Blimey she must look like such a nutter. "Well that makes two of you then, doesn't it?"

HOW LONG WILL WE TAKE TO COME UNDONE? IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER TELL ME NOW, AND I'LL WRITE UP A CALENDAR FOR OUR COUNTDOWN He couldn't help but laugh at Trent's expense. "Yeah, forget the bed," he agreed with Tay. "Don't get too many paper cuts, now, Trent," he winked mischievously in Trent's direction. Lachlan started thinking along the same lines, except he'd replaced Madam Pince with Tay and he'd replaced Trent with himself...
Knocked out of his train of thought, Lachlan raised his eyebrows. "So you and Filch, huh?" He chuckled. "Seems like everyone's got a Professorly love, except me," he said almost triumphantly. But, if worst came to worst, he was always up for dating Professor Dupree. Damn, that girl was hot. He burst out into a fit of laughter as Tay snorted, ending up snorting himself. How embarrassing..
As Trent and Tay's laughter filled the air around them, Lachlan shot a dirty look back over at Trent. "Oh ha ha ha, Trent," he said, feeling himself about to laugh on the inside. He gave in and laughed with the two of them. Ah well, McGonnagall wasn't that bad, after all. She was a feisty old lady.
"You guys," Lachlan said, his eyes glued to Madam Pince as she walked over their way brusquely, looking like she was about to tell them off for being too noisy. "Trent - work your magic," Lachlan hissed, grinning slightly.
His attention turned back to the girl beside him, and how Lachlan would like to get to know her better. "So, Tay," he said, resting his chin on his folded arms, "do you come here often?" he wiggled his eyebrows and cracked a grin.

your eyes were smiling then you left me hanging around with all your wack friends
you don't take me serious "Oh totally. All that extra cat hair is really appealing you know." She still grinned. "Aww, you can share Filch with me if you like." Since when was it this easy for her to say things like that? Since now apparently...
When she started snorting with laughter she didn't miss the way that Lachie did too, and the butterflies increased, but at the same time, made it harder for her to stop laughing.
McGonagall? Now there was a name she wasn't expecting to hear. "Oh? I could picture Babbling being more your type - the nose lower than her chin and the hair that sticks out till next tuesday and all that. Now she's just gorgeous, don't you think? Not to mention the beaver hat." Okay, now she was sounding stupid, and she knew it, but it was always fun to poke fun at the professors - in a harmless way of course. And Babbling really did look ridiculous wearing that hat in the summer months. As for her nose? How far down could one person's nose go? But what would Tay know? Her's seemed to stick up in a funny way that made her look like a pig when she laughed... which wasn't a great look for her. But she did love to laugh.
Just then, Lachie pointed out Pince heading in their way and she shut her mouth quickly, looking down at her books as if to pretend that she was working. She snickered at the comment about Trent working his magic and muttered under her breath, "Take her in the stacks, she'll like that..." just loud enough so that Lachie could definitely hear, but probably not Trent seeing as his attention seemed to have gone straight to the old librarian.
Tay's eyes shot to Lachie. It felt so strange that she was actually sat here talking to him. For so long she'd been stealing glances in the corridors, just another nobody girl crushing on the cute, older guy. And now he actually knew who she was... so long as he didn't find out about all the crazy little thoughts that had gone through her head about him then it should be fine. If he knew he'd probably think she was just another freak or something and... well... she didn't know. She didn't know him. She should stop assuming things that she didn't know. Shaking her self she focused back on what he was saying to her.
He had his arms crossed on the desk in front of him and had slumped over a bit so that his chin was rested on his arms, meaning he was looking up at her slightly as he spoke. Her eyes seemed to be glued to his for a while. She'd never been close enough to see his eyes properly before but... wow... his eyes...
The librarian was still quite close to them so she tried not to giggle at his grin and eyebrow wiggle. Didn't he know what he was doing to her insides with all these cute expressions?
"I'm a Ravenclaw, aren't I? It's practically a rule that Ravenclaws must spend as much time as possible in the library, didn't you know?" She grinned in return and raised an eyebrow back at him. He really was easy to talk to... now that she wasn't rambling like as much of a crazy fool as she had been before with that stupid Babbling comment... "I'd ask you the same but I think I already know the answer."

Turning away from where Lachlan and Tay were giggling together like a pair of schoolgirls, Trent prepared to do his best to disarm Madam Pince's mighty librarian-rage. Though the constant jokes about his relationship with the Librarian were somewhat wearing, Trent was willing to admit that this once he didn't really mind, glad as he was to see Lachlan laughing and smiling again. And if mocking him was what it took for his two friends to bond and date and fall in love and get married (Trent hadn't planned this out at all), well there were worse things in the world than being teased by your friends.
***
Madam Pince turned and walked away, and Trent breathed a sigh of relief. He'd only just been able to stop her kicking them out, and the concessions he'd had to offer were somewhat ridiculous.
"Lachie, Tay," He said, turning back towards them, "I have some bad news. In exchange for being able to stay in the Library, we're no longer allowed to laugh, talk, smile or breathe too loudly." Trent gave a helpless shrug, "It was the best I could do."
Packing his notes and books back into his bag, Trent grinned mischievously at the two of them.
"Now, you two are free to stay here and trade longing glances, but I'm headed off to find somewhere where the rules are slightly less strict." He kept his tone light and sardonic so they'd know he was joking. "You're both very welcome to join me."

HOW LONG WILL WE TAKE TO COME UNDONE? IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER TELL ME NOW, AND I'LL WRITE UP A CALENDAR FOR OUR COUNTDOWN He couldn't help but smile. Tay was something different - she barely even compared to any girl Lachlan had met. She had a great sense of humour and she was so easy to get along with. He barely noticed that Trent had turned away to talk to Madam Pince, as he was so drawn into the conversation he was having with Tay.
Lachlan grinned. "Well, at least I'll know where to find you in future," he winked at her. Lachlan was never really that great when it came to subtlety; faint heart never won fair lady. "Nah," he started, in response to Tay's question. "The only time I ever really come in here is to annoy Trent. Seems like my plan has worked thus far."
Almost on cue, Trent turned around with the news of what their sentence was. Lachlan pretended to look shocked, but in all honesty, he knew it was coming. "So we have to become mimes?" Lachlan put his hands out in front of him, pretending that he was trapped in an invisible box.
It had been Trent's plan all along. To set the two of them up. Lachlan shook his head and gave a nervous laugh. "Nah," he said in response to Trent's offer, "but, feel free to take Madam Pince with you," he winked.
Yes! Just what he had wanted. Some time alone with Tay.

your eyes were smiling then you left me hanging around with all your wack friends
you don't take me serious Find her in the future... those words spun through her head and she didn't quite know what to think. And... did he just wink at her? Ohh, the butterflies were going full force in her stomach now but she tried to ignore them. "To annoy him, or to make sure he's not getting into trouble?" Her eyes flickered briefly towards where Madam Pince who was just turning away, and Tay had to fight to keep the grin off her face as she said it.
Trent turned towards them and told them the conditions for staying the library. Now this was a first for her... she couldn't remember a time she'd risked being thrown out of the library before. But, who cares? It was worth it.
Tay looked back from Trent to Lachie just in time to see him miming being in a box. Tay grinned and leaned over, making a knocking motion in the air where the side of his 'box' was, before shrugging dramatically.
Even as she sat there her mind drifted back to the conversation she'd had with her friend not too long before hand, and how she'd told Millie that she wasn't going to talk to him, yet here she was. Tay could only begin to image the look on her best friends face when she told her about this conversation. Well, Millie had been the one encouraging her to even just say hi, but she hadn't needed to. Luck would have it that she' got her chance to speak with him anyway.
Trent made a comment about trading longing glances and her eyes shot to him, mouth falling open slightly. Was she that obvious? But wait... what did he mean by trading glances? No...
She shook her head and looked down at her books in front of her. She could hear Lachie's somewhat nervous laugh but didn't say anything. That is, until the comment about Trent taking Pince with him. She had to grin then and she looked back up to Lachie briefly before looking at Trent with a grin. "Oh la la. If you distract Pince you'll keep the rest of us out of trouble." Tay sat back in her seat and hands her hands through her hair, pushing it back out of her face. As usual, her fringe fell straight back over her eyes and she let out a short, sharp breath. It just made her hair cover more of her face and she had to push it back again.
Looking at the textbook that was still open in front of her she knew that she wouldn't be able to get anymore work done now as her mind was racing with everything that had just happened, but most of all at the fact that it was still happening. Despite saying only moments ago that he didn't spend much time in the library, here he was opting to stay longer. Why though?
Flipping her textbook closed and pushing it towards the pile of books stacked at the end of the desk she looked back to Lachie, not quite sure what to say now, but she kept a cool, composed look and smiled. "So..." (ooc:*raises hand* is also not well right now... *makesexcuseforawfulness*)

HOW LONG WILL WE TAKE TO COME UNDONE? IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER TELL ME NOW, AND I'LL WRITE UP A CALENDAR FOR OUR COUNTDOWN "Mainly the second one," Lachlan laughed, loving Tay's sense of humour. "He's so accident prone, you see, and I find it's up to me to make sure he doesn't really hurt himself," he flashed a grin in Tay's direction. She was so easy to joke with. It was almost as natural as breathing.
He grinned. "Yes, yes indeed - so really, Trent," he put his puppy dog eyes on, even though he knew they would be rather ineffective. "Take her with you."
Lachlan's eyes followed Trent as he made his way out of the Library, no doubt towards the common room or somewhere else quiet where he could catch up on his reading. He briefly wondered why Trent hadn't been placed in Ravenclaw, but it had always been clear that Trent valued friendship and loyalty over his books.
The moment had passed and his attention had now been turned back to Tay. The smile she gave him sent butterflies straight to his stomach. Mm, this was weird. "So," he repeated after her, watching the way her hair fell into her eyes. Even sitting here, in the smallest corner of the room, she lit up the place like a fire.
His mouth had gone dry and he was suddenly very lost for words. He wanted to say something that would make him seem charming and win her over, right there and then, but nothing came to mind. "Nice weather outside," he said, mentally smacking himself in the head as soon as the words came out of his mouth. Really? The weather? Hopefully Tay had something up her sleeve, as Lachlan was dying to talk to her more.

your eyes were smiling then you left me hanging around with all your wack friends
you don't take me serious It seemed that all eyes were on Trent as he made his way towards the doors to the library - eyes including those of Madam Pince from what Tay could see. She couldn't help but grin slightly. That woman really did have the hots for Trent, didn't she? Who'd have thought the stingy librarian wanted a toyboy?
One of these days Tay would find a way to make her hair stay out of her eyes when she studied... It annoyed her to no end when it wouldn't do what she wanted it to do. She scrunched her nose up and gave a squinty-eyed glare at the fringe that fell over her face.
Lachlan repeated her words back to her and a silence hung in the air between them, but Tay really didn't know what to say to fill it. When Trent had been there banter had been easy but now it seemed like the safety net was gone and her nerves were on high alert. This was the guy she'd secretly crushed on for months now - who filled her thoughts at the most random moments - who she'd told herself she'd never talk to in case she made a complete fool of herself in front of him... Well, she was here now, and her mind had gone completely blank on what to say. She looked down at the textbook she'd just pushed away and flicking the corner of the book without really thinking about it.
Tay's eyes shot up as Lachie spoke and she was sure her mouth hung open stupidly for a few seconds before her brain actually caught up. "Yeah... It is... For November..." Her eyes sought out a window and she stared outside for several long seconds. Oh come on! Surely she could think of something interesting to say!
She didn't have to. A howl of laughter from a few tables over sent her eyes flying in that direction. A groups of girls, possibly 6th years, were cackling over something and all eyes in the room had turned their way. Tay could see the firm look on Pince's face as she stormed in their direction.
"Looks like we're off her hit list for the moment..." If there was a group being twice as loud as they'd been earlier, then Pince would be hovering and breathing down their necks, rather than keeping an eye on how loudly her and Lachie were speaking... and breathing, heaven forbid.
Pince was bright red in the face as one of the girls clearly made some unappreciated comment and Tay had to laugh. She covered her mouth with one hand as she did and looked down at the table. Any more from them and Pince wouldn't think twice about sending them on their way.
Tay looked up at Lachie, still struggling to stop herself from snickering at the scene that was unfolding across the room. "The school of never ending drama, huh?"

Lachlan's eyes shot over to the table of giggling girls that sat opposite. He smiled at Tay's comment. "I was thinking the exact same thing," he returned with a smile. He watched as she played around with her hair and tried to get her fringe to stay out of her eyes - a problem that Lachlan encountered all too often. The fringe suited her. She was stunning.
Madam Pince walked briskly over to the group of girls and made her opinion heard. They, too, would be kicked out of the library if they didn't coincide with the library rules. Lachlan had to laugh - the old bat really was a stickler for silence.
"Yeah, I reckon," he said lamely, still unable to think of anything to say. It was all so weird for him! Usually, when it came to talking to the ladies, Lachlan had no problems goofing around and making conversation. But as he sat across the table from Tay, his stomach was in knots and his usually quick-witted mind was unusually slow.
He chewed on his bottom lip. It shouldn't be this hard to start up a conversation!, he thought to himself. No, he would just have to try harder. He wanted to get to know her better.
"Wanna go get some food?" he asked as a loud rumble came from his stomach. If there was anything that could make a situation better, it was food. "We could have lunch together or something," he shrugged, trying to seem nonchalant about the whole thing. After all, he was sort of hoping that it would turn out to be a lunch date of sorts. Not that Tay really had to know that...
His hazel eyes met her brown ones and Lachlan felt another gush of butterflies flow into his stomach. This really was strange for him...

your eyes were smiling then you left me hanging around with all your wack friends
you don't take me serious There was still an awkward silence that hovered over their table and no matter what she did she just couldn't get her mind working enough to think up something even remotely interesting for her to say to him. What kind of idiot must she be looking right now? Well... it seemed like maybe the damage was already done-
"Wanna go get some food? We could have lunch together or something,"
Tay was sure that her jaw much have been halfway to the table by time she realized it was happening. For several long seconds she just kind of... sat there, shocked. "Food... Lunch..." She shook her head sharply to try and clear it, hoping that it would kick in and start working properly again. Was he really suggesting they go eat together? "Um, sure." She send him a lopsided smile, not entirely sure what she should be saying or doing or thinking.
It meant nothing. It was just food, right? He was hungry - his stomach was making noises, she knew that, so... he just wanted something to eat and... since Trent was already gone then... he just didn't want to eat alone. Yeah. That was it. That was totally it. It was no big deal.
"Food sounds great." She nodded and smiled enthusiastically, trying to act as normal as possible even though it was the last thing that she was feeling. Then again, it was no different to what she'd been doing when Trent was there. She just had to act like the same, joke-cracking girl he'd seen when he first came in. If she made it too obvious that she had a complete crush on him he was likely to freak out or something...
What Trent had said about 'trading longing glances'... he'd just been kidding... right? (NEXT POST SHOULD BE PAGE 2!!!) :P
